Weird round. Had many slutty premium scores in Shai Lolton, Lachie Nearly, Josh Jelly and Zerrett but somehow pulled through thanks to Danger, Macrae and Whitfield.
Shithouse. With the usual shitty Sunday
I am not alone in ruing Ro Marshall’s unavailability.
Traded in Bolton to replace Dusty once Marshall was stuck in iso.
Yuk!
Was just about to use my final trade on Bolton. Made a last minute decision and opted for T Hawkins. Whew!!

That’s with Madden, Bianco, Ginniven on field, and a donut thanks to Treacy late out!!
Hopefully hold rank, with Mills, Greene and Hall coming in for Dusty to bolster the team for finals next week.

Going for Lachie Neale over Danger is maybe proving to be the worst decision of my season. Cost me an extra 75K to get far worse scoring and no DPP.
Had a lot of premiums spud up (Walsh, Zerrett, Toranto) just thankful for Nic Cox with a big 94 out of nowhere

2nd week in a row that both my vice captain and captain scoring below sub 100 points. Also had a donut in that score too… That’s what you get for having 0 trades since round 16

Gross weekend. Nailed my captaincy but my more unique picks cooked me. May, Petracca and new signing Dale were all hugely disappointing alongside Merrett, taranto and the worst of the lot Bolton.
4 trades left and 200k in the bank with mills to come back onto the field but wowee has that trade backfired on me. Originally planned for mills to replace whitfield last week and outscore him on the run home and have whitfield possibly miss this week. Sadly whitfield actually was healthy and scored fantastically in a great giants win.
Sharp outscored 10 premos for me this week….
Fingers crossed I can push back next week with a big score.

Gross weekend indeed, Tom. Thinking of renaming my team that lol.
To be fair, 2400 from 21 players including Brockman wasn’t that bad but just frustrating being held back by Neale, Short, Petracca and Zerrett – who’s 71 cost me a win in Gun’s Regulars #1 to FT by 22 points lol.
Props to the Big O for keeping things afloat with 148.
I was watching your match up and thought you were home. Good to see big O do the business for you. I am excited for my matchup with Lisa this week. Her squad looks great and she has been flying.

Whitfield after missing last week.
Laird and Danger were huge but are ( now ) both highly owned.
Somehow winning 7/8 leagues and making finals in all but one. ( 4/7 top four).
I thought you had me Gunboat, with a few of your Pods killing it.

My Coaching the last fortnight.
First I went Fyfe over Guthrie in R18.
This week…
I nearly Captained Danger and changed back to Steele last minute.
Then I passed on Thomas for Dusty ( I was so close )
Fyfe goes down.
Then … I went Shai thinking his low price should allow me to get Fyfe to Guthrie. Guthrie scores 120 and guess what ?
I’m $400 short. Four Hundred Bucks!
Well at least I have a trade and a week to find a replacement.

Yeah, had no trades left. Langford and Dusty both benched, only Brockman to cover.

Thought it was going to be a shocker of a weekend with 8 of my first 9 players for the round failing to crack the ton, but some huge efforts saw a pretty respectable score in the end. Midfield really stunk it up in particular, with Neale, Walsh, Zerrett & Kelly very sub standard.
Probably most grateful for no more injury or isolation issues this week

Always know your week is going great when Helmet scores 146! Unfortunate with Bolton scoring low but as I said in trade talk, Geelong a tough matchup atm. Will expect him to bounce back in the remaining games. My best rank in 3 years of playing. Keen to try make the top 1k. GGs to everyone we came up against this week.

My worst season in years. I was as far down as 60,000th after Round 9 so I’ve managed to finish fairly strong. Snuck into my cash league finals but don’t think I’ll be around long with my trade position.
2393 / Titch / 2700 ish (slightly down from last week)
If my forward line didn’t look like a dropped pie, my team would be awesome.
Instead, I get stuff like Shai Bolton doing whatever the hell that was, and Matt Kennedy having a chat with the security guards in the forward pocket while a game is going on. Gross!
I have managed to make the finals in all ten of my leagues which is nice, but I think I might just be making up the numbers. Good luck to everyone this week!

Going beautifully until Sad Sunday came along. My GWS boys (Taranto, Haynes and Kelly) who were supposed to drag me along failed miserably, and Bolton really shouldn’t be saving himself for finals. And FFS Ro Mo’s coverage Treacy should have better eating habits.
Do have some finals to play but can’t get excited yet. Got knocked out of three leagues today and fear the team is not a late season performer.

Another week of a very poor captain score but still moving up. One trade left, and doesn’t look I have any injury worries. Cracking the top 20 looks out of reach after missing around 300 captain points the last two weeks.
Bringing in Hawkins for Dusty worked a treat. My super POD Jack Crisp is getting a bunch of flowers in the mail. Parish with a 49 though…..

Had my share of spuds led by Zerrett and May. Having pendles probably cost me finals in the very competitive sledgers league (ranked 291)…..missed by 0.1% Wines had that awkward score for a v. Heeney for Dusty looks a good move.
Got trades still and big knockout match v Lisa in our cash league.
