  1. Already traded out Freijah & Davidson for NWM & Gross. Considering boosting (which will leave me with 2 left) to bring in Cleary (Henderson out).

    TU: Do it
TD: Hold – Cleary not worth a boost

  2. Tu: Robert’s, Davidson, Moraes —> NWM, Gross and Cleary (202k ITB)

Td: Davidson, Prior moraes —> Petracca, Gross and Cleary ($59k. ITB)

Leaning more towards second option as raises the ceiling of my side and potentially reassess the potential problem with Robert’s next week.

    Thoughts?

  4. T/U: Stone, Knevitt, Henderson to Gross, Cleary and Naicos (gets rid of my least lucrative 3 rookies)

T/D: Davidson to Naicos (saves trades and a boost but weakens onfield rookie)

    • can you use DPP to trade in someone else? Personally I’d wait til I could get Sinclair, his BE is high this week. NWM if you don’t wanna wait.

      • only issue waiting, is Freijah might spud again then I’m even further away from Sinclair – he might just have to wait and be my last DEF upgrade target

        • Fair call, I would definitely have Sinclair as a must have at some stage. Luckily you won’t have to worry about that now, as he’ll get injured after what I’ve said.

  7. going Moraes + Stone -> Gross + Cleary.

I’ve already used 2 boosts, do I use a 3rd to go Davidson -> Naicos?
Or wait a week since both their prices should be similar next week.

    TU – yes, boost now
TB – no, wait and save the boost

  8. Worth burning a trade on Davidson > LAshcroft?

LAshcroft has a breakeven of -11, so thinking his price still climbs a fair bit, whilst churning out better scores than Davidson

    • i’m one of the few that like this trade.

Ashcroft still -11 BE and can make $100k+ (his 36 drops out of price movement this week)

has forward status now and i can see him being 80-90 pt scorer.

I know many people got him and have now moved him on, especially after his 36 in round 3.

I probably won’t get him as i’m getting Cleary, Gross and Daicos this week, but i’m kicking myself i didn’t jump on last week when i saw he was going to get forward status

    • Definitely a case of “Should have got him sooner” but as Derek said he’s still got decent CG in him, certainly more than Davidson, so I I don’t think it’s the worst idea ,especially with DPP now and hopefully a few 90’s in him..

  9. Went NOD to C.Hall last week.
Def – Sheezel, Holmes, Dale, Roberts, Short , Bice (Trainor, Reid)
Mid – Neale, W.Ashcroft, Rozee, Oliver, L Ashcroft, Lindsey, Moraes
    C.Hall, (Knevitt, Henderson, Hastie )
    Ruc – TDK, Xerri (Boyd)
Fwd – JHF, Rankine, Macrae, Smith, Daniel, Davidson (Stone, Hewett)
    Flex – Kako
    $257,700, 32 trades left, 3 boosts

Plan for me this week is getting rid of Henderson & Hastie to Gross & C.
    Cleary.

But thoughts / advice / feedback is appreciated

  10. NOD + Henderson to Cleary + Gross my locked in two trades. Weighing up the patient v aggressive approach with what to do with Davidson (really don’t want to trade but very tempting to boost to a Uber premium)

    TU: Boost Davidson to Daicos
TD: Hold Davidson with a good matchup hoping for another possible $50-75k cash gen

  11. TU:
OUT – Henderson, Tsatas(or Knevitt), Roberts
    IN – Gross, Cleary, Bazlenka

    TD:
    OUT – Henderson, Stone
    IN – Gross, Cleary
And just wait on Roberts another week.

Other option is Roberts to NWM.

  12. Everyone bringing in Gross and/or Cleary..
All being well are you playing them on field over the likes of Moraes, FOS, Lindsay, Max Hall, etc?

  13. MID bench is/was FOS, Hastie, Campo, so wanted that fixed this week.

    Three options:

    #1) Hastie & Campo -> Gross & Cleary.

#2) Hastie, Campo & Davidson -> Gross, Cleary & Tracca

#3) Davidson, Hastie & FOS -> Gross, Cleary & Daicos

Did really like the simplicity of #1, refreshing my bench completely and hanging onto FOS.

To #2, Racca didn’t feel worth a boost as I can just do him next week into Tiges. Haven’t loved his contested numbers either, so happy to wait.

#3 the most aggressive, only fixes 1 dead rookies but gets Daicos. Don’t actually love Daicos’ fixture (Lions away, Setterfield next, then dense Cats) but it’s a fool’s errand trying to rule Daicos in/out based on fixture. 580k will probably be the most I pay for a premo.

    I’ve currently gone…option #3.

    • Honestly, I think the simplicity of #1 is the best option. Daicos probably not in for a huge score and him and Trac shouldn’t change too much price-wise this week. I also believe Davidson could earn a bit more yet (could be wrong, but he has tonnes in him). FOS only just started to look better too, so I’m giving him another week as well.
      #1 Saves a Boost too.

    • I just realised Hastie is Def/Fwd. that is cool. i like the look of him, but he can’t seem to avoid the vest.

I’m with you, looking at Daicos this week, just because i can.

Tracca possible next week with his two juicy games coming up.

  14. Long time reader first time poster!

T/U: Trade Lindsay up to Zak Butters and have no cash remaining
T/D: Trade Lindsay up to Tom Green/Will Ashcroft, bank $110K cash and target Butters in a few weeks assuming his price drops (BE 146)

Holding Davidson for now and have other solid downgrade options in defence over the next few weeks (Prior, Reid, Trainor, Bice).

    OUT – m.Reid,blight,davidson/humphrey
IN – Merrett, Gawn (flex), Saad El Hawli

I know there’s better options in rookies but the dpp will help with my team structure

please reply if this is a good idea and if there are any better options
TU if good TD if not

  16. Out – Berry, Tsatas, Knevitt
In – Clearly, Gross, Tom Marshall (debut for Lions tonight)

Was going to go Cleary, Gross and Moraes for Daicos BUT dons named 2m Peter so don’t think they’ll bring in Tsatas for a bit and will likely have a stint on the VFL for at least 2 weeks (doubtful they’ll bring him in for ANZAC day on a shorter turnaround).

Banked over 400k for next week though.

    Thoughts?

  17. Is ned long not ultra tempting? He looked fantastic, decisive and strong in the contest. He’s named on ball. At $280k… I don’t like being reactive on mid-pricers but he got 2 tonnes already.

I would rather hold onto each for one more week but one had to go to make way for Naicos yesterday but can’t decide on who is the best one to trade out.
