    1. I would trade Fisher Shaggi…. Comben will be in that side for the rest of the year(barring injury) and can get a ton when it goes his way. Fisher is going to be a spare parts man with the return of mckercher and may end up being sub etc… just my 2c best of luck

  1. Looking to trade out Touk this week after holding for Humphries.
Have 580k to work with and my two main targets either Merrett or Treloar.
Treloar was initial plan target from last week but then didn’t play which causes concern and Merrett had a stinker to squeeze him in price range.

    TU: Merrett
    TD: Treloar
    Any other suggestions?

    1. Genuinely surprised by the bias for Merrett when they have almost the same average and it is about their final 6 games.

Merrett has sub tonned 4 of his past 8 games
      Treloar only 2/8

      4

      1. Merrett doesn’t have dodgy hamstrings or being under an injury cloud like Treloar.

Treloar was on my radar until latest hamstring scare. Now with minimal trades left he is a risky selection.

    1. Jettisoned for me! Used up 3rd last trade.
Scoring dropped off a cliff- losing value- so gone!

    2. Unfortunately I still have him because I’ve only 2 trades remaining – however, dumped him to Bench for Dowling = win!

  2. Last Def Spot for me:
Currently have Sheez, Naicos, Ryan, NWM, Houston…

Who do I take with 580k?

    TU: Ridley
    TD: N Martin

    Others below

  3. Schoenmaker to Fonti and then Miller to Gulden for me which leaves me 3 trades for the rest of the season

    11

    2
  4. 4 trades left plus $120K. Playing for league wins.

Def – Naicos, Ryan, Whitfield, Yeo, Houston, Crisp (Schoenmaker, Hore)
Mid – Bont, Butters, Serong, Walsh, Dunkley, Merrett, Gulden, Green (Graham, Mannagh, Freijah)
    Ruc – Grundy, English (Livingstone)
Fwd – Zorko, Flanders, Heeney, Moore, Curnow, Dowling (Richards, W Dawson)

T/U – Graham and Richards for Simpkin and Humphries, leaved me 2 trades for injuries and a finished team with loop options.
T/D – Hold the trades for now.

  5. Worth using last trade to go Richards to Phillipou to cover Gawn this week?
    T/U: Do it
    T/D: save last trade

    1

    35
  6. 4 trades left with full premo.
Do I use a trade to go trade Warner or Dawson out for Zerrett?

    TU: Bring in Zerret
    TD: Save the trade

    8

    28
  7. Last forward position to fill, have got Heeney, Zorko Caldwell and Flanders so there’s not much left. Thinking T/U Curnow T/D McKay as Carlton should score ok until the end of season. only got $500k

    11

    8
  8. my last trade is upgrading sexton to a premo defender.
only have $553k in bank so tossing up between Ridley, Clarke, Holmes, Houston, Stewart (do I dare bring him back?)
RIdley and Stewart/Holmes seem to have the easier runs home

  9. what to do with my team, yes it’s quite bad started late, playing for fun. have 13 trades left with $183k ITB

defenders: daicos, nwm, ridley, young, houston, shoenmaker (curtin, phillips)

mid: neale, merrett, walsh, rozee, serong, dowling, humphries, rogers (mcaullife, rowlands, payne)

    ruck: grundy, marshall (kreuger)

fwd: heeney, zorko, fisher, richards, mannagh, rawlinson (maley, livingstone)

    1

    1
    1. Daicossss,
You have some good rookies there making money and some deadwood not making money.
Make money for upgrades to premos in the next couple of weeks
Kreuger to FWD, Rawlinson to FWD bench, Livingstone to RUC bench covers a FWD donut
Rogers to Zane Trew gives $64k
      Curtin to Blight gives $73k
Macauliffe to Taylor adds $55k add these to your $183k and you have $375k in the bank.
And then next week you can look at bringing in the likes of one or two of Yeo, Nic Martin, Simpkin, McKay or Curnow by trading out your most cooked rookies.

      1

  10. Got rid of Rowell, after a def/mid for swapability.
    TU- Sinclair
    TD- Martin
Got the feeling Sinclair scores more from here- but like the cash left from Martin-$112k

    20

    3
    1. You would think he would be unlucky to lose his position after an impressive first full game for the season on Sunday.

Interim coach Jarrad Schofield, praised Trew during his post match press conference for his battle against a strong Brisbane midfield.

Had Footy info on the old I Phone which I don’t seem to be able to get on Samsung.
    Thanks in advance Legends

  12. Phillipou going to continue his midfield good scoring for rest of season? Is it worth me using one of my 2 remaining trades to upgrade a non playing rook on my bench?

    1

    12
    1. Not with only 2 trades. Could just be a wasted trade if he doesn’t have to cover for anyone. Even if he did for one match, that same trade could have been a sideways premo trade

      8

      0
  13. This scenario leaves me with just 1 trade for the rest of the year. Injuries have cooked me so it leaves me with very few options aside from running with a rookie as M6 or F6

    OUT: Touk & Fisher
IN: J Sinclair (via dpp) & Keays

    TU: Do it
TD: Save those 3 trades and run with rookies for now

    2

    11
  14. 5 trades left $87K ITB playing for cash league but in top 2000 overall

I am thinking just Freijah to Philippou this week to use as 1st emergency on any line effectively ?

Jackson can cover the ruck (and is currently), Fisher can cover defence (who I have to keep for this) and I have 4 to cover mids in addition to playing rookies on every line ?

    4

    9
  15. Finishing my fwd line, have got already
    flanders, Heeney, caldwell
    zorko, moore
    tu – dempsey
    td – reid
also have simpkin as an option ?

    6

    4
    1. I’d go Holmes.

Have Riddles and do not like his final stretch of games. Some tight offensive outfits with pressure smalls and mobile talls. Low key dreading it.

      4

      0
      1. Have had Curnow. Last weekend think his score was 0 after first quarter- then could have had huge day except for 7 behinds.
Typical forward- but friendly run home!

        2

        1
    1. Trade D’Ambrosio obviously.

Rowell’s pathetic last month and half of scores is the same as Massimo’s season long average.

Plus atleast you’re suffering Fatt Rowell with the rest of us.

      5

      4
  16. Considering tags
    Does Merrett still outscore
Whitfield, Holmes, Clarke, Stewart for rest of the year?
TU yes Merrett still clear pick
TD no choose one of the others

    13

    1
    1. Crows, Dockers, Suns don’t tag.

Saints haven’t since Windhager went down.

I haven’t seen the Swans tag in a while either.

Probably gets Berry in the last game of the season but otherwise it’s a largely tag free run.

The match ups themselves are pretty tough. Bunch of dense sides with good midfields and none of West Coast, Richmond, etc.

Wouldn’t take any of the DEFs you mentioned over him though.

I’d probs take a Lions or Blues MID over him on fixture.

  17. 4 trades left with 342k in the bank. A must win in leagues this week and my opponent is strong.
Looking at either Rowell or McKercher to Bont.

Rowell scored 129 against GWS in R4, but has been dismal recently. McKercher up and down, a first year player and returning from injury. Can’t decide which one to jettison.

    TU – Rowell to Bont
    TD – McKercher to Bont

    Thanks!

    20

    2
      1. Thanks for the feedback. I would love to move both on, but feel uneasy with only 2 trades left for the rest of the season. After trading Rowell to Bont, I could consider McKercher to Holmes, Whitfield, Houston, or Clark (have the other big hitters).

TU – Stop at one trade – Rowell to Bont. Hold 3 trades for injuries.
TD – Go for two, also move McKercher on to one of the above and hope that 2 trades will be enough for injuries

        8

        4
        1. I would give McKercher at least another week

He has a break even of just 56, and he scored 79 on the weekend – even though he spent the last 15 minutes of the game on the bench

As a result, he ended up with just 72% time on ground on the weekend

And his recent averages are very solid:

          Last 3 weeks: 101.3
          Last 5 weeks: 108.2

That’s a better 5 round average that “sought after” SC defenders like Luke Ryan & Elliot Yeo & Tom Stewart

Rowell concerns me more – for some reason he had just 50% CBA’s on the weekend ??

CBA’s / clearances are supposed to be his main strength, and this low 50% CBA number was even with Touk Miller out of the Gold Coast team on the weekend

Looks like Alex Davies will now also miss for a few weeks due to suspension, but would like to know why Rowell got pushed out of so many CBA’s in favour of blokes like Davies (54% CBA’s) and Anderson (who attended a massive 93% of CBA’s)?

          4

          0
          1. I’m with you on giving McKercher another week. Hopefully he can spend a little more time on ground this week.
Yeah – don’t know what’s going on with Rowell. I’ve wanted him out for weeks, but have had other fires to put out. His recent role and form certainly aren’t very SC friendly…

  18. 6 trades left, do I hold McGovern or trade to Houston to free up some extra $$?

    TU: Hold
    TD: Trade

    5

    25
  19. Tossing up between getting a better player or keeping extra cover over both fwd/mid lines. I don’t expect Reville to be sub the rest of the year

    TU: Phillipou to Dawson
    TD: Reville to Houston

  20. should I trade mcgovern or schoenmaker to Humphrey’s down to 3 trades either opens up a loop for neckerchief or mekercher even.
    1 leaves me with 450k 2trades
other leaves me 2 trades 60k
    th up mcgovern
    th down hold
    comment schoenmaker

  21. Just read some stats that carlton have the best run home for small defenders scoring so considering bringing in adam saad for sexton as only need one trade for that move and have one left for injury cover.

T/u use one trade and roll dice on saad for d6, 1 trade left
T/d use last 2 trades and bring in any defender under 552k (likely Holmes, ridley or stewart) plus lawson humphries.

With first move I have shoenmakers, pink, freijah, Clarke, dowling and possibly mcaullife as bench cover with ruck/fwd, mid/fwd and def/fwd swings.
With 2nd move humphries replaces Clarke and I also have def/mid swing

    13

    1
    1. Also, is it worth bringing in Trew this week to free up some funds for my last two upgrades? 5 trades left after the one above

      11

      1
  22. Why am i hearing a lot of people trading out Luke Ryan? Is there an injury issue or is it just lower than desired numbers?
With only a couple of trades left to me he is a hold.
    Tu hold
Td trade for some cash and an equally performing def

    16

    1
  23. 3 trades remaining but still need a premo. And will be left with Sexton
T/u 2 trades- Trew and Fat Rowell (only ‘premo’ I can afford)
T/d 2 trades- Trew and rookie. Then use last trade next week to get a proper premo (essentially going down in a blaze of glory)
Any thoughts on Rowell would be much appreciated
    Cheers

    1. You could almost take a shot at Hopper. Has just come back from injury and has played 3 games of 98, 87 and 97 against Carlton, Freo and GWS.
Run home doesn’t look too bad, you just need to hope that he brings back some old form from a few years ago

      1

      7
      1. Thanks for the Hopper idea Natopotato, I’ll do a little research into him and see if he fits my team

        1

  24. Who the best replacement for Gawn can get anyone I have 5 trades left, have Grundy

    English t/u
    Xerri t/d

    7

    10
  25. I have $151k in the bank and 6 trades left. I have nothing urgent to deal with this week, with Heeney and Fisher canning back. I could do nothing, trade my worst performing mid or back for Lachy Neale, or have a better mid or forward backup by trading up Freijah.

    TU: Ryan/Warner/Daicos/Serong/ Green/Walsh to Neale
TD: Freijah to Dempsey/Greene to loop with Curnow/Jackson

Comment: who to trade or don’t trade at all

    4

    3
  26. If dowling pops off another good score say a 85+ is anyone else considering putting N. Daicos on the bench for it since hawks brought in The FinMag?

TU yeh take the score coz daicos is going to get worn like a cheap suit
TD no have faith in the young master to beat the tag and put up a 100+

    1

    10
    1. I’d only be benching players if my rookie tonnes up. He scored 102 last game against Hawks, not sure if Maginness was playing then though.
      I’d bench other options first

      4

      0
  27. I have good Capt choices this week…
    VC choices however…

    Who for VC?
    TU- Caldwell
    TD- Flanders

    4

    10
    1. Treloar is another option if you trust him to play out the season after missing last week.
Ideally if you wanted Caldwell, you would want him in your forward line to be the most value.

      8

      0
  28. 2 trades left, $130k in the bank but no def cover with Schoenmaker out

Tu: trade schoenmaker to Humphries this weem
Td: no trades (provided no late outs) and reassess next week

    1

    8
    1. Use your trades for premo injuries now since you only have two. Likely will end up being a wasted trade if you made it

      4

      0
  29. I have J McInerny in my forwards who is out with a reported PCL of unknown duration. They said 2 weeks in brace and review. I have cover with Friejah with only 3 trades left.
As its possibly 3 or more weeks I think trade is essential rather thank keep that much cash on the bench. Sadly slim pickings in forwards and mids already full. Best options are Papley (up n down) or Jackson (Darcy back) or go 2 trades and bring in Flanders uber premo but leaves only 1 trade balance. Playin for league with easy game this week.

TU hold 3 trades and trade when necessary.

TD cut the deadwood and aim for uber premo with max cover options.

    2

    1
    1. Depends on what you are wanting and trades left.
If you still need Pink as a form of cover or FWD/DEF loop keep him.
Trade Pink if you need extra money and don’t care about his score.

If you only have 2-3 trades left, you probably shouldn’t be trading

      1

      0
      1. 5 trades left. I think Pink will be traded as it will allow me to bring Freijah into the FWD line. Cheers for the input

        1

        0
  30. Have 6 trades left should I get:
    TU – Rozee
TD – Use 2 trades for Neale (or Merrett haven’t decided)

    2

    7
    1. Very surprising vote imo, kinda feel like people vote for whoever got a better score the week prior.

      1

      1
  31. Two trades left and need to cover McGov

T/U – Gov to Sinclair or Stew

T/D – Hore & Oliver to Fisher & Rookie. This pushes Curnow to F7 and gives me cover for all lines with DPPs (Fisher to backline, Daicos/Martin to the mids etc.)

    4

    2
  32. Trades last week were (Rankine to Caldwell)
DEF: Sheezel, Daicos, Ryan, NWM, Houston, Fisher (Humphries, L.Evans)
MID: Bont, Butters, LDU, Gulden, Walsh, Green, Rozee, Serong (Dowling, Mannagh, K.Brown)
    RUC: Gawn, Grundy (Kreuger)
FWDS: Flanders, Heeney, Caldwell, Zorko, Moore, Freijah (W.Dawson, Livingstone)
$72,200 ITB, 4 trades left, 1 boost left.
Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated this week as I’m genuinely stumped on what I should consider/do.

  33. Which is the better long term trade – not just for this week.

Thumbs up – McGovern out – Neale in. Fisher moved > D6. Humphries is D7 but no loop. McKercher is M9 but cannot loop
Thumbs down – Fisher out – Neale in . Humpries/McKercher covering McGovern until he is back.

    2

    6
  34. Currently have 5 trades and 330k ITB
    Full premo, would

    TU – Freijah & Coffield -> Neale and 102k rookie = 4 trades + 0 cash

    TD – Freijah -> Rozee = 5 trades + 90k cash

    2

    6
  35. Bloody Ross Lyon naming H.Garcia has boned me so I’ve been doing a bit of research on my last loophole player and thought I’d share my findings.
5 trades left and I’d like a non playing/injured 102K mid/fwd swing that plays for a team with plenty of Sunday games but…
Excluding rd 24, Hawks have 4 Sundays, then it’s the Dogs, Tigers and Blues with 3.
    Hawks don’t have a cheap mid/fwd, DGB is a def/fwd available at 137K.
Dogs don’t have any DPP’s under Harvey Gallagher mid/fwd at 211K.
Tigers don’t have any cheap mid/fwds, best available are Collina ruk/fwd at 123K and Gray def/fwd at 102K.
The Blues have Jack Carroll mid/fwd at 127K or Billy Wilson def/mid at 117K.
Saints and Norf have 2 Sundays and do have a 102K mid/fwd.

So, do I go with Jack Carroll and hope he doesn’t get another gig?
Or play it safe and go with one of the 102K mid/fwds that will prob get me thru til the end of the season but only have 2 Sundays?
    Leaning toward Carroll.

  36. I’m gonna trade out JHF and Freijah
    TU Neale and Kynan Brown
    TD Merrett and Trew

Can’t quite afford Neale and Trew

  37. 6 Trades remaining

TD: Schoenmaker for Trew, 5 trades with 210K ITB

    3
