  1. Who to luxury trade to Neale/Treloar

TU: Walsh (doesn’t look good, butchering it, sore back)

TD: Steele (scored big but he won’t kick 3 goals each week)

    1. If you really want to trade English, then IMO Tristan Xerri is the number one target for you

He has great & consistent form, fils all the boxes for good Supercoach scoring (tackles, contested possessions etc), & he has an awesome run home

He finishes with games against Richmond, WCE, WB & Hawthorn – and his projected scores are “off the charts” 🙂

  2. I’ve been looping curnow/hogan at f6 by using wil Dawson.
with Dawson playing before both this week I’m trying to move him to defence by moving el hawli to mid and Garcia to fwd if he gets dropped. Is this possible as I can’t seem to make it work?

    1. Yes
You must trade out Dawson for another player. Move Garcia FWD, then El Hawli to the Mid. Your new player will sit in defence.

Now trade out the new defender to back to Dawson.

No trades have been used to do this

  3. Need to upgrade for last fwd spot. 2 trades left
TU Moore and use 2 trades as $4k short
TD Curnow or anyone under $500k

  4. Ranked inside the top 50, playing for overall
    1 trade left..

Tu: make a luxury sideways trade/ get an extra premo at m9 to try and maximise on field points

Td: hold off and save the trade
(Thinking this is the logical decision)

  5. Planning to upgrade Dawson this week, regardless whether he plays or not.

    TU: Neale
    TD: Treloar

    1. @ Mario – g’day!!

Treloar is in awesome form – as is Neale

If you are playing for a League win, just be aware that Treloar plays North in the SC preliminary final week (round 23) – and Will Phillips kept Treloar to just 58 SC points a few weeks ago

Not sure if Phillips will tag Treloar again in round 23 – or whether he might go to Bont or Richards

But just thought that I would highlight this for you

  6. 2 trades left but no def cover with Schoenmaker out of the team.

Tu: Make a luxury trade of Ryan to Stewart / Whitfield or Jackson to Moore

Td: Hold trades for another week to cover potential injuries. Can do Jackson to Rankine week after

  7. Sitting inside top 8,000 & playing for league wins. 4 trades left. Probably a week late but thinking of using 2 trades to swap Walsh for Treloar. T/U use the 2 trades, T/D hold trades for now and hope Walsh scores ok? Bank won’t allow this in 1 trade sadly.

  8. What to do with Jackson? yes provides Ruck coverage but with Darcy in the Team he’s a liability. Going to lose a bit of $$ next week and maybe lose the ability to sideways him to Moore.
Only 2 trades left and got to hold at least one for a while so don’t want to go too early either.

    TU: Jackson to Moore
    TD: Hold

I’m about 4000 overall, (been an ok year thats about avg for me) have prob done enough to wrap up the league points race in my league (about 800 points in front) but looking for a league win as well currently sitting in 2nd on table with double chance. Yeah being a bit gready 🙂

  9. Have 3 trades left (250k in bank), thinking of trading in Sheezel:
    Dale out – TU
    N Martin out- TD
    Ryan out – comment
    Or should I hold?

  10. Does anybody know how long Ridley will be out for, if he’s out for only 1 week is it worth trading him? I have 3 trades left:

    TU: Sinclair in
    TD: Ed Richards
    Comment: Hold

    1. Could also bring in Houston, Whitfield or Clark.

Current Defence is: Sheezel, Daicos, Martin, Ryan, Ridley, Yeo

  11. Playing for leagues. Have good bench cover.
What is more attractive for run home?

TU: Uber mid premo (one of Neale/Dunckley/Treloar) plus Mannagh at F6 with 1 trade remaining
TD: Rozee at M8 with Dylan Moore at F6 with 2 trades remaining

    Thanks Coaches.

  12. Is anyone thinking of Cam Rayner as a last forward spot? 3 game avg of 111 and 5 game avg of 91.4.

    TD Curnow

  13. Got 1 trade left and Ridley to deal with. Do have the 23 premos though (J Cameron F7). What should i do this week?

    TU: Trade ridley

TD: Trade a def rookie to a DPP def/mid (Currently got E Richards in mid so creating link allows me to have him cover def injuries going forward)

  14. Tricky spot. Playing for leagues

TU use one trade to upgrade Dowling to Walsh or someone in that price range

TD use 2 trades (all I have) to get in an Uber premo like a Neale. Treloar or gulden.

Thanks and good luck to all

  15. Does anyone have a list of which teams are running dedicated taggers (week in and out as of late) and that are not injured…..
so for example Richmond had been running Jack Graham as a tagger but he is injured.

    1. I’d usually do a tagging and run home piece but haven’t had the time. Loosely:

Sydney: Jordan (MIDs and HBs, Richards)
Brisbane: Berry (but didn’t go Anderson)
      Fremantle: N/A (medium density)
Carlton: Cincotta (#1 MID, high frequency)
      GWS: Bedford (high frequency)
      Cats: N/A (low density)
      Port: Drew (medium frequency)
Dogs: N/A (used Gallagher before but Libba back, high density)
      Hawks: N/A (high density)
Essendon: Caldwell matches up occasionally but not super hard
Dees: Neal Bullen (medium frequency, faded some obvious targets recently)
      Pies: N/A (low density)
Suns: Just tried Swallow tagging for half a game on Neale, previously didn’t tag when Miller was in the side (medium density)
Saints: Windhager early, Stocker the other day, tend to clamp (medium density)
Crows: N/A (low-medium density depending on personnel and form)
      Eagles: N/A (same as Adelaide)
North: Phillips when in the side and obvious match up presents (medium density as of late)
Tigers: Graham for a bit, then stopped tagging, then used Baker after QT on Daicos the other day (still low density)

Lowest density best VC/C teams: Cats, Crows, Eagles & Tigers

Highest density worst VC/C teams: Swans, Lions, Blues & Dogs

  16. Hello SC community, avid follow of the site but dont post a lot, but I need advice.
    Playing knockout final,
    3 trade + Salem – Bank $251000
Reasonable bench, Humhpries, Bytel, Dowling, Freijah. Got away with looping the last few wks.
    My thoughts
Salem to Treloar , Whitfield [Have all the good Mids and Defs] Loop Dowling and Freijah[if selected] at F6
Salem to Rayner, Roberts. Already have Curnoe and Myeirs
    Any advice pleasel

    1. Hey, Willy. Always good to see you around.

Little confusing the way you’ve written it out but from looking up your team basically it’s Salem dead at M8 and Dowling at F6?

      Salem + Dowling + 250k ITB = 987k.

Should be able to grab two reasonable options.

Cheaper FWD you go, the better MID you can get.

Dunkley and C. Mac could work?

      0

      0
  17. Alright, so that’s Ridley gone. Unfortunately I have piss all ITB, so very limited.

Budget is EXACTLY 523.5k. Can be a DEF, MID or FWD.

I don’t have either of Houston or Walsh and can afford both but idk. Houston seems just plodder around and Farrell has been eating a fair bit of his eco. Walsh I’m amenable to but seems a little sluggish, has that back and tank issue atm and Cripps is running the show.

Other options: Warner, Dale, Holmes, McCluggage, Newman, NWM, Moore, Dawson, Nuke, Hinge, T. Kelly.

Obviously with four games to go fixture is everything, so it’s about who can do the most damage over the next month not so much who is normatively better – because in that case Houston/Walsh are no brainers on average.

*already have Yeo, Ryan, Jackson, Blakey

Honestly, a part of me wants to do Pendles. Looked really good the week prior, has his 400th this week and then three high stakes match ups (albeit against not great opps) as Pies try to make finals.

    Welcome any thoughts.

    1. For a bit of fun, I would go Tim Kelly. Feel like he has a high ceiling. Otherwise, I vote NWM. He’s really exploding.

      3

    2. NVM for me (disclaimer I have him).

He plays in a great SC role, is a beautiful kick, good scorer albeit not with a super high ceiling … but does not leave Marvel for remainder of season!

      Good luck

  18. What do we think of bringing in Matt Roberts as a DPP. Has been huge the past 3 weeks.

TU: Yes, he is going to continue scoring well.
TD: No, an obvious trap and too risky.

    17
  19. I need to trade Ridley, with not much $ in the bank and only 2 trades remaining I need to trade to a similar priced player.. Narrowed down to 2 options:

    TU: NWM
    TD: Dale

    10

    9
  20. Need to trade Ridley, can do a straight swap for anyone down back

    TU: Whitfield
    TD: Sinclair

  21. Touk Miller to either:

    TU: Rory Laird

    or

    TD: Zack Merrett

(playing for league and had been holding Miller but have the trades to get rid of him this week)

  22. 4 trades left, 1 boost. Do I trade…

TU :Dowling to K Brown, Mannagh to Treloar (2 trades left)

TD: Dowling to K Brown, Mannagh to Merrett, L Ryan to Whitfield(1 trade left)

    12

    3
  23. TU: Trade Ryan (2 trades, practically nothing itb)
TD: Keep Ryan (3 trades, 75K itb) and look at bringing in a 23rd premo in the next week or 2

    1. I think he is a trade Cam if you have them.

He has completely lost his seagull role and not getting any cheap ball at all.

With Alex Pearce injured he is now playing as a lock down defender on the number 1 forward.

Last weekend he had 13 kicks and 4 handballs. And of those 13 kicks, 7 were from kick outs.

So he basically had 10 disposals for the game, I would trade for sure mate. Good luck

      1. Cheers Damo,

Appreciate your feedback, and I was heading in that direction anyway with 2 trades in hand.

Good luck in the finals mate.

  24. 4 trades left and 230 k ITB, need to make up some ground.

Is it worth trading – Ryan & Holmes -> Sinclair & Whitfield

    TU – Yes

    TD – No

    10

    3
  25. I have no bench cover in forward line, with 380k in the bank. Want to trade JHF, but also have no cover in defence, but can swing Humphries there to go balanced approach.

TU go balanced and trade out J Richards for Phillipou, trade Shoenmaker and swing Humphries to defence and bring in Richards/Young/Brayshaw giving me cover in all lines

TD take a risk with no bench cover and trade Dowling and JHF for Moore & Treloar (leaving me with no bench cover in defence).

    comments welcome

  26. Hi All,

6 Trades left. Looking to get a bench player in the mids for under 440k who is capable of a high scoring as an emergency that can be loop holed. Someone who plays early.

    T/U Rowell
    T/D Hewitt
    Comment someone else.
Thanks and good luck in the SC finals

  27. I have three trades left. Do or die final.

TU trade out Jackson + schoenmaker > Marshall + mid/def bench rookie Curtin for looping but allows me to get McKercher into Def and put L Evans on the bench but still have Dowling on the mid field.

TD Save trades but has LEvans on field Def, Jackson in ruck but gets Dowling on Mid Bench and McKerch on the field.

  28. With Ridley out for 3 weeks and Fisher not returning this week, I need to trade both. Which trade combo is best

    TU- Holmes & Butters

    TD- Richards & Merrett

  29. 3 trades left and $150k itb. Finished first in my league so have the double chance. Really tempted to go Walsh to Treloar this week but wondering whether I need to “waste” a trade in week 1 of sc finals. TU or TD?
Current midfield is: Bont, Butters, Cripps, LDU, Serong, Rozee, Green, Walsh

    1. I’m the same except I have 4 trades left. I’ve gone Steele to Treloar for now but not sure if I want to give up Steele or Walsh.

I’m sticking with making the trades though. I want my best team on the park and to get to a prelim. 3 trades left for prelim + granny weeks should be enough.

  30. I need an F6 fwd …. currently have Flanders,Zork,Heeney,L.Jackson,Curnow,Dowling + Comben,Dawson
Have $82K ITB that I could spend but would rather not use this as I prefer to upgrade M8 C.Warner to Dunkley where the $82k would be needed…. meaning $415K is the budget for a fwd to replace Comben.
I have 6 trades left so this is not a problem.
    Im so conflicted.
    HELP pls….
