I have tried many times to trade out Callaghan, bring Chesser into mid bench and trade in Day… But it won’t let me move Chesser, although WCE have not played yet. I tried Gibney with same result. I can move Cogs to mids, which is useless.
The only way I can get it to work is use a boost.
Frustratingly I am left with Callaghan and to watch Day score huge.
Yesterday I found that SC would not allow a sub from def to mid (Ginbey or Constable) but would allow a fwd to mid. After much messing around I tried changing to list view (instead of field view) and it worked without any issue.

I had the same issue. Go to field view and do the trade.
