Venue: Adelaide Oval

What it means
Adelaide (4-7-1) is running out of chances to keep its ever-fading finals hopes alive and simply must beat the injury-ravaged Richmond to do so. A defeat would all but end the Crows’ season, especially with the high-flying Swans to follow before a bye.
Richmond (1-11) has continued to battle hard in recent weeks even as its injury toll mounts up without getting the reward of four points. The Tigers travelled well during their period of success so can carry some hope into taking on the under-fire Crows, even on their home deck.
No late changes.

TU – dowling?
TU – W.Dawson?
30 min to decide if I go dowling
Dawson on the bubble.
Seriously considering Laird..
Crouch out for the season will only help.
Could really go nuts post bye.
Just the R15 bye makes it awkward..
LDU or Laird, hmmmmm.
Tough call Mav, risk associated with both choices.
LDU perennially injured or in and out of form.
Laird not looking the same player he has been and also has bye to come.
Yeah after looking into my R15 I will be fielding 16-17 ap had to reverse the Laird trade as much as it hurt.. I just think he will bounce back with no crouch anymore. And a serious VC option tonight! Anywho LDU it is..
Think it has to be LDU Mav, at least you get a look at Laird this week without Crouch.
I can’t shake this nagging feeling that Tigers will win this but no way I have the Kahuna’s to tip them.
Just feel like Nank will dominate without ROB playing and a couple soldiers back for the tigers will bolster their mids.
Crows woefully out of form, best player in Rankine injured.
Meh, I dunno. Hope Dawson goes well for those with the VC on him.
Baker baking for you, Mav!
Happy days GD!
Hopefully he can keep this midfield role til seasons end before flying west for the eagles pre season.
What is happening to the crows??? They look awful!
Kieran Strachan ( groin) subbed out beginning of the 4th Q
Prestia calf ‘awareness’ too…..again
Might of dodged one here with passing on Laird, phew. How is he not there #1 or #2 CBA mid though..
Get in!
C’mon the Tigers
Matthew Nicks is on shaky ground. The Crows have some serious talent yet they are unorganised and connect terribly with the forward line. I cannot see him coaching them in 2025…
Had a chuckle Corns and King ripping Adelaide.
Richmond balanced by the recent return of its two best players Taranto and Baker, Martin is descending, along with a lone superior ruckman in the last quarter, scraped home with a win over a side without Rankin, Crouch, their best forward and no.1 ruckman
I thought it was good timing by Adelaide resting O’Brien with injured key players sidelined to see what weaknesses need fixing for next season.
Mixing up field positioning and giving promising youth invaluable experience considering there’s no grand final to lose in 2024 is a good going forward.
Richmond still had more out than Adelaide though and Adelaide at home against a team that had only won one game for the year. I think Adelaide overrate their list. Richmond on the other need to win next week and tank for the rest of the year with their good draft hand. They wouldn’t want to finish above Adelaide.
