Time to talk all things Bombers.
The Lock
Darcy Parish ( Mid ) $334.600
I know you might be thinking ” Lock ” ” yeah right,” but hear me out. Darcy is at least $200k under priced, he will outscore his price by some margin, if can he stay on the park. Can those calves can hold up ? “iF ” they can, we could be looking at one of the standout SC picks for the year. He’s already 35% owned, so that helps buffer the risk if he does go down. News is he’s having one of his best preseason in years. The ultimate risk reward player. Is Darcy Parish in your side ?
The Dark Horse
Jye Caldwell ( mid ) $545.100
I like the cut of this guys jib. He fills all the stat lines with a great mix of inside and outside ball and he loves a cuddle. He’s an absolute beast in fantasy, can he get to that next level in SuperCoach. Like many of you, I traded in Caldwell last year, he was cheap and cash was tight. Watching him closely , he honestly try’s his but off. Eventually injury struck again, but he was a solid own while it lasted. I feel a little on repeat, but “IF” this guy stays fit, he’s probably 10 points on average under priced. The Bombers have no early Bye, and a pretty good draw all round. Worth a look if you’re shopping for a pod midfielder in this price range.
The Breakout
Archie Roberts. ( Def ) $452.700.
In our Brisbane review, I spoke glowing of Jasper Fletcher. I basically feel the same way about Archie, There’s not too much this kid can’t do on footy field. Many don’t know he played 4 games at the end of 2024, this kept him eligible for last year’s rising star. Back in just his second ( non Sub affected ) game he scored 103. The great ones often get a big score early, Could Archie become a great ? In his first full year of Senior footy Archie averaged 83..7 SC Points and came second in the Bombers B&F . A future leader at the Bombers, this kids already putting together an impressive resume’. It’s pretty rare to get a second season Break out, and maybe I’m going a year early. I still wouldn’t count this kid out though, he could easily surprise.
The Rookie’s
Jacob Farrow ( Def / Mid ) $163.000
Pick 10 in the 2025 national draft. Farrow is a versatile Mid, that is just as conformable behind the ball. He stands 187cm’s tall with a ranking left peg and high footy Iq. Comparisons to Hayden Young and Jordan Dawson are promising, but don’t expect huge numbers early, It may just take a few games to get going .I’ll be keeping a close eye on him in preseason.
Dyson Sharp. ( Mid ) $149.500
Pick 13 in the 2025 draft, Dyson is big bodied 188cm inside Mid. Cliche’s like “Hard nosed” and “Ready Made” come to mind. This man child. Managed 27 touches ( 11 Contested ) in the National Champs. If the green light comes on in round one, just start him. He could be one of the best rookies we get in 2026.

Nik Cox ( mid ) $134.600
To quote JG..” Hear me out, Nik Cox is having his best full pre season since his draft year. One to keep en eye on. ”
Now I just need to work out if he’s trolling me or not ? Nick Cox, really, he can’t be serious, can he ?
