DEF: R0 swayed me Sinclair over NWM like the rest of the sheep out there. Clark for early bye coverage and love watching him play across our backline. Blakiston locked. Not sold on Windsor but i wouldn’t really use his cash anyway if I dropped to a rookie. Will pivot out and do an early up/down if all fails.
MID: Butters, Brayshaw and Dawson all picked due to no early byes, Rozee allows me to pick the defenders I want – in Mott’s cash league and need to get a few early wins on the board as I always seem to play catch-up mid season. Why do all the best midfielders have a double bye?? Fading NDaicos and picking up value in Walsh on the same bye who has finally had a full pre-season. Gulden to do his thing and picking up Bruhn represents great value based on R0 role.
RUC: Backing English to take advantage of the new ruck rules and elevate himself back towards a top tier ruck.
FWD: Boring template picks.
Flex: Currently Visentini as long term back up for McAndrew. Reidy ZZ TOP if all else fails for a token score – i don’t think we need a starting donut, with the byes coming up i’ll take a chance at an extra cash generator before a natural loop forms anyway. If no ZZ, then I’m in trouble, but that’s what 40 trades are for. Have some cash to upgrade him to Parish if I want some extra midfield firepower and just read his upside wrong.
