  1. Darcy Cameron (154). After some mediocre scores in the mid year, Cameron has gone big lately and led the Thursday night game thanks to 23 touches (18 contested) 37 hitouts, 9 tackles and 6 clearances.
  2. Nick Daicos (144). Ran around with minimal attention once again, this week collecting 39 touches (18 contested) @ 79% DE plus 1 major, 7 clearances and 610 metres gained.
  3. Daniel McStay (128). Bit of everything for McStay, 16 touches (12 contested), 10 score involvements, 3 goal assists, 2 majors, 4 tackles and 10 hitouts.
  4. Sam Berry (116). The best of the Crows, Berry had 30 touches (17 contested) to pair with elite DE of 87%, 5 marks, 6 tackles and 10 clearances.
  5. Josh Worrell (104). Rounds out the top five thanks to 21 touches with 12 intercepts, 7 marks and 81% DE.

Other 100+ scores: Izak Rankine (101)

Disappointment: The struggles for Houston (60) and Daicos (63) continue, while Milera (80) and Dawson (89) were below their best for the Crows.

Rookies: McAndrew (94) is still in 25% of teams and that score is more than alright. Borlase (61), Hall-Kahan (54), Murray (34) and Maley (20) the other Crows. Anderson (57) led the Pies ahead of Harrison (45), West (37) and Puncher (36).

Injuries: Just Maynard (knee) in this game.

 

Melbourne (14.13.97) defeated by Geelong (18.9.117)

  1. Tom Stewart (123). Led a fairly spread game, as he kept the wall at half back strong thanks to 25 touches (11 contested), 11 intercepts, 6 marks and 434 metres gained.
  2. Harrison Petty (114). The best of the Demons, Petty snagged 4 majors from 14 touches and 5 marks in an important role.
  3. Max Gawn/Tanner Bruhn (112). Not as big as many thought Gawn would go but provided once again, having 19 touches (10 contested), 47 hitouts and 5 clearances. Bruhn was great off half-back, having 27 touches with 7 marks and 529 metres gained.
  4. Shannon Neale (104). 13 touches and 5 goals plus 6 marks (2 contested) for Neale as the number 1 target up front.
  5. Tom Atkins (103). Rounds out the top five thanks to 23 touches (10 contested) plus 1 goal, 6 tackles and 5 clearances.

Other 100+ scores: Connor O’Sullivan (102)

Disappointment: Kysaiah Pickett (74) was tagged out of it.

Rookies: Great game from Wiltshire (78), same as Clark (73), with Edwards (53) and Polkinghorne (52) the rest. Tholstrup (76) led the many Melbourne rookies, which read Cooke (61), Laurie (61), Fitzgerald (60), Sharp (45), Cross (44), Pickett (21) and Jefferson (9).

Injuries: Bit happening on Friday, with Dangerfield (groin) struggling all night, while the Demons lost Latrelle Pickett (concussion), Van Rooyen (nose) and Chandler (hand).

 

Fremantle (16.16.112) defeated West Coast (6.6.42)

  1. Marcus Herbert (134). Elite stuff from Herbert down back, leading the Derby scoring thanks to 36 touches and 8 marks with elite DE of 87% and nearly 400 metres gained.
  2. Matthew Johnson (127). The best of the Dockers, Johnson found 29 touches (11 contested) with 90% DE, 7 clearances and 5 tackles.
  3. Jye Amiss (121). Focal point up front, slotting 5 goals from 15 touches and 8 marks (3 contested.
  4. Caleb Serong (116). Another nice score for Serong, as he found 25 disposals with 7 clearances, 6 marks, 5 tackles and 11 score involvements on Friday night.
  5. Tim Kelly (103). Kept busy for the Eagles, finding 31 touches and 9 marks plus 601 metres gained and 7 inside 50s.

Other 100+ scores: Zilch

Disappointment: A lot of run of the mill scores here, but the most disappointing was probably Clark (66). Or Treacy (41).

Rookies: No rookies for the Dockers so straight to the Eagles. Bar Herbert, they had Murdock (59), Duursma (55), Francou (46) and Johnston (37).

Injuries: A cut knee for Francou the only concern out of the Derby.

 

Carlton (16.14.110) defeated Gold Coast (15.7.97)

  1. Jagga Smith (130). Elite game from Jagga, as he nears the end of a fine first season. Had 31 touches @ 90% DE plus 7 marks, 5 tackles, 2 goal assists and 6 clearances.
  2. Patrick Cripps (126). Another standout performance from the skipper, Cripps finished with 30 touches (21 contested) plus 1 goal, 15 clearances, 5 tackles and 8 inside 50s.
  3. Sam Walsh/Noah Anderson (125). Another Blue mid to dominate, Walsh had 31 touches @ 84% DE plus 7 marks, 5 tackles and 5 inside 50s. Anderson on the other side, made sure the Suns had some representation in the top five, collecting 30 touches with 9 marks, 1 goal and 649 metres gained.
  4. Taylor Byrne (123). A great effort from Byrne, his impact up forward boosted his score as he found 17 touches plus 3 goals, 12 score involvements, 6 tackles and 5 inside 50s.
  5. Francis Evans (116). Another Blue to have a really solid impact, Evans ended up with 17 touches, 2 goals and 6 tackles for the afternoon.

Other 100+ scores: George Hewett (108).

Disappointment: Noble (47) the worst of the Suns.

Rookies: After Smith and Byrne, the Blues were led by Derksen (72), Kemp (68) and Dean (56). Addinsall (62) the best for the Suns, leading Murray (50), Paterson (42), Uwland (28), Lombard (27) and debutant Lewis (1).

Injuries: The milestone man Newman (hamstring) unfortunately didn’t last very long.

 

Hawthorn (19.18.132) defeated Essendon (5.9.39)

  1. Jarman Impey (148). Keeps dominating off half back, this week providing elite numbers again of 37 touches (81% DE) with 1 goal, 12 marks, 9 inside 50s and 836 metres gained for the game.
  2. Josh Ward (122). Coming of age in the midfield now, Ward finished with 33 touches (10 contested) with 9 marks, DE of 88%, 4 clearances and 4 tackles.
  3. Jack Gunston (119). A bag of 7 up forward for Gunston, adding it to his 16 disposals and 11 marks.
  4. Dyson Sharp (115). The sole Bomber to show up in the top five, Sharp had 21 touches with 5 marks and 8 tackles for the best score of his young career.
  5. Cam Mackenzie (111). Rounds out the top five here, finding 23 touches with 6 marks, 6 tackles and 1 major for the game.

Other 100+ scores: Jai Newcombe/James Sicily (110), Nick Watson/Lloyd Meek (102), Zach Merrett (101), Will Day (100)

Disappointment: Roberts (79) hasn’t hit the same heights since returning.

Rookies: Mraz (82) another great score for the Hawks, ahead of Bailey MacDonald (49) and Greeves (48). The Bombers had (behind Sharp), Farrow (77), Robey (59), El Achkar (46), Artemis (43), Day-Wicks (37), Cox (24) and Kondogiannis (15).

Injuries: Plenty happening here with Lewis (concussion) being joined on the pine by three Bombers players, who were Ridley (foot), Robey (knee) and Day-Wicks.

 

GWS (13.10.88) defeated by Sydney (21.13.139)

  1. Errol Gulden (147). Back to his best here, Gulden won the BOG medal on the back of 41 touches (11 contested) plus 7 clearances, 8 inside 50s, 7 rebounds from 50, 5 marks and 1047 metres gained, massive numbers.
  2. Brodie Grundy (135). Great game from Grundy, he had 23 touches (11 contested) plus 13 score involvements, 1 major, 7 clearances and 29 hitouts.
  3. James Rowbottom (132). Underrated in the midfield, Rowbottom had one of his spike games as he collected 23 touches (12 contested) plus 11 tackles, 2 majors, 8 clearances and 6 tackles.
  4. Chad Warner (125). Another Swan to dominate, Chad finished with 32 touches (13 contested) plus 1 major, 2 goal assists, 9 inside 50s, 7 clearances and 747 metres gained.
  5. Stephen Coniglio (118). Gave the Giants some representation, finishing this clash with 19 touches, 3 goals and 10 score involvements.

Other 100+ scores: Clayton Oliver (114), Connor Idun (111), Lachie Ash (106), Xavier O’Halloran (101)

Disappointment: Whitfield (85) a struggle, sake with Heeney (86). Mills (88) was a popular pickup this week but also didn’t standout.

Rookies: Gruzewski (70) led Ough (29) and Hamilton (28) for the Giants, while the Swans had Kyle (60), Serong (57), Cootee (53), Edwards (47) and Rosas (18).

Injuries: Issues for a number of coaches with Callaghan (ankle) coming off late. He was the only concern from this clash.

 

Western Bulldogs (15.15.105) defeated Richmond (7.6.48)

  1. Ed Richards (149). Provided one of the best scores of the round, coming from 32 touches (12 contested), 2 majors, 5 tackles, 6 clearances, 11 score involvements, 11 inside 50s and 693 metres gained.
  2. Nick Vlastuin (122). The best of the Tigers, as he played his role to perfection down back, finding 27 touches and 11 marks with 9 rebounds from 50.
  3. Lachie Bramble (102). 27 touches @ 85% DE for Bramble, while also hauling in 8 marks and having 531 metres gained.
  4. Tom Brown/Marcus Bontempelli (99). Brown finished with 23 touches, 6 marks and 4 tackles, while Bont crawled his way to this score on the back of 29 touches, 2 goals and 556 metres gained.
  5. Toby Nankervis (97). Rounds it all out, as he had 17 touches (12 contested) with 34 hitouts and 5 clearances.

Other 100+ scores: Zilch

Disappointment: Going to go to Taranto (74) and the returning Sanders (78).

Rookies: Sellwood (94) was great and led Dolan (85), Jones (42) and Hynes (33). Cumming (82) came in ahead of Annand (55), Lefau (52), Retschko (49), Grlj (40) and Peucker (32).

Injuries: Clean injury cards from Saturday night.

 

Brisbane (19.12.126) defeated Port Adelaide (9.13.67)

  1. Hugh McCluggage (149). Finally provided a big score in 2026. Had 29 touches (14 contested) plus 1 major, 6 marks, 5 clearances and 5 tackles.
  2. Will Ashcroft (137). Kept his elite form rolling with another great game of 30 touches, 2 goals, 12 score involvements, 7 marks, 684 metres gained and 12 inside 50s.
  3. Jason Horne-Francis (135). Played a lone role for Port, collecting 30 touches (15 contested) with 1 major, 3 goal assists, 7 clearances, 6 inside 50s and 447 metres gained.
  4. Zac Bailey (126). Elite again, Bailey finished with another ton thanks to 3 goals, 26 touches, 8 marks and 5 tackles.
  5. Dayne Zorko (123). Back in form, Zorko rounded out this game with 34 touches, 11 marks and 804 metres gained.

Disappointment: Very quiet in the win for Neale (84), same as Wilmot (65).

Rookies: Gallop (80) pretty good once again, with Tunstill (58) and McKenna (29) the others. Lai (94) the best for Port, leading  Watkins (84), Marshall (51), Zadow (35), Whitlock (28), Bamert (18) and O’Brien (1).

Injuries: Nothing the report from the Gabba.

 

North Melbourne (8.14.62) defeated by St Kilda (13.15.98)

  1. Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera (194). Insane numbers from Nas to finish the round. 46 touches (39 kicks) with 4 goals, 10 score involvements, 8 inside 50s and 1060 metres gained, beating Gulden just.
  2. Harry Sheezel (132). The best for North, he found 29 touches (10 contested) @ 90% DE with 1 major, 8 marks and 5 tackles.
  3. Jy Simpkin (129). Simpkin provided a great game, finding 29 touches @ 83% DE, 9 marks and 6 inside 50s.
  4. Darcy Wilson (123). Ran hard both ways as usual, finishing the game with 28 touches, 10 marks, 1 goal and 481 metres gained.
  5. Brad Hill (114). Finishes off the round with 34 touches and 12 marks plus 454 metres gained for the game.
