  1. I’m already bringing In Curtis. But I need to bring in one of these two below. Unlike most teams I’m leaning towards Carroll. I think he has better js. He can play wing or HF and looks to use it well. Blues don’t really have anyone who’s locked in for that spot. Obrien, Setterfield, Cottrell, Newnes etc. They’re all in and out.
    TU Carroll
    TD Mccomb

  2. I’m finding more and more teams are not far from being almost clones. This week the team I’m fielding and my opposing side have an indentical side apart from four players. So it makes me reluctant now to follow the trend and get in Parker. Thinking along the lines of D Moore at the Hawks. Am I over reacting or are others facing the same scenario?

Rumours are he’s not back til Rd10?
    If that’s the case what’s everybody’s plans.

    TU: trade
    TD: sit tight

    • Team released at 5.30. You will know then.

There are only 20 AFL players available plus players from WAFL to make up the numbers for a team.

Anxious moments for any coach with WCE players.

      • I’m worried about Brisbane possibly resting players as well.

This would be the perfect time if any senior players have any niggles.

        Let’s hope for the best.

        • Not sure they will … just saw on the news that Fagan said that he has changed it up a bit this week with Weagles decimated and allowed the senior players to run the sessions and draw up the game plan for this week … “to allow them more involvement and to change things up …” …

If that’s the case, then you can bet the players involved will be raring to show how well their plan works!!

  4. Already have Steele, Macrae, Neale, Oliver and Cripps. Who is the best mid to bring in this week?

    T/up – Miller

    T/down – Green

Comment – Someone else like Brayshaw

  5. MACRAE – the last 2 weeks of sub 100’s had me thinking to avoid him as VC this week, but with Bontempelli being rested, does that mean that Macrae reverts back to the 100+ scorer that we prefer and a viable VC choice in tonight’s game?

    TU – Yes
    TD – No

    • yeah I’m wondering the same Lisa – not sure what the go was last week – he seemed “off” and was also left on the bench for long stretches … it looked like they were letting McComb have a large amount of time doing what he normally does … so something to watch / consider …

  6. Who to bring in this week;
    Tu; MCOMB
    Td; STRANDICA

Keeping in mind next week there could be Rioli and caroll on the bubble. If I don’t get Strandica now I may have to make 3 downgrades next week :/

  7. TU – OPTION 1 – 2 trades – OUT : Rachele & JHF – IN: McComb & Parker (4 rookies left to upgrade & onfield ) $41k ITB
    TD – OPTION 2 – 1 trade – OUT : Rachele – IN – McComb (5 onfield rookies left to upgrade & onfield) $249k ITB

Comes down to Parker this week, or another premium next week. Rachele & JHF are the only rookies I’m prepared to cash in this week. But thinking JHF isn’t a must trade this week.

  8. with Hewitt likely to return in R10 and Carlton having a bye round 12 it means he has two games in the next 5…

Apart from the loss of points the opportunity to grab other fallen premiums may be lost…

    TU: Keep
    TD: Trade

  9. Rachele to McComb – trade is a lock
Currently used the cash to take Daicos up to Parker.

    T/UP – leave as is
T/Down / Cripps in over Parker

Note taking Parker as a POD in a cash league – not fuss about ranking but 10/12 have Cripps already in this league.

    Cheers

  10. Had the VC on Brayshaw and want to take his score, however only loop option is Dixon (ruck) who plays after both of my current rucks in Sam Hayes and Witts. If Dixon ends up as a late in or sub I will lose Dixon’s score. Does anyone have any word on this or should I just stick with Neale as C?

    • Dixon is an emergency, so it is a risk…
Most people will have Neal as captain this week, for a good reason. Could be a game time decision, watch closely until just before first bounce and if he’s not in make the change.

  11. Who do I trade out, Mcartin or Hinge? Mcartin (if he stays healthy) will play ever week and provide a reliable 60-70, where as Hinge has more upside but may not play regularly.

    TU: Trade Mcartin
    TD: Trade Hinge

    Cheers

  12. Deciding whether to takes Neales 122 as VC.

    Currently situation:
Oppo has Rachelle and is 319 points ahead (VC’d loopholed Brayshaw. Also has Gawn)
I have Steele, Oliver and Bowey and option of Gawn or Oliver as C

    Thoughts?
TU: Take Neales 123. The boys will get it done.
TD: throw the big C on Gawn

    • Some back-of-napkin guesstimates:
      Opponent: 319 + 61 (Rachele) = 380.
      You: 80 (Bowey) + 125 (Steele) + 125 (Oliver) = 330.
