Small or Far Away, Father Dougal on Cows

 

Hi Everybody!

Sorry for missing last week. Got sick over holiday and even with the help of the Hamster I wasn’t able to brain enough to write.  I might still be having brain lack, since I have had no thoughts I can convince myself are cleaver to share. The Hamster wrote “An Ode to Pumpkin Seeds” which was “I love Pumpkin seeds, they make me happy” over and over again. Which in a way is a thing to write about. Footy makes me happy, Supercoach, for all it can be frustrating, also makes me happy. It is certainly no fun to go from a nicely set up team with backups a a fewtrades left to, well, now, but at the same time, figuring out how to deal is at least interesting.  I could let bad luck get in the way of my fun, or I could accept that bad luck as part of the game, which it is, and not let it mess up my fun. So, I’m actually looking forward to the rest of the season. No year is so gone that you can learn by playing it out. Even without trade, there are captaincy choices and moving players around. Seeing the end of the season, however well it goes, will help with next season. Because next season we will be fighting for first and will be glad of the practice and expereince.

And the Pumpkin seeds!

This will be the last Cow Talk of the season.  The last scheduled one at least. We are past the point where cow price projections matter. 

I’m only doing guys who we seem to care about. The cows we started with are mostly gone, although a few may still be lingering.
