It’s ruined me as well. Him coupled with Day sticking at 2 weeks has led me to do the most ridiculous set of boosted trades. Don’t know who I am any more lmao.
Cole was good though. 2x 80s, 2x 50s, made 70k at an elevated price and helped cover rookie sitch
To tonight’s game, just Laird and Es on Hollands and Cowan – with Cowan being sorta critical given my aforementioned backline issues.
T.Cole out almost blew up my trade plans but I am sticking fat. Doch -> kozzie is done. Almost went Saad but feel I can have one more look at him with a 104 BE. Playing aggressive now has the trades to do so.
Saad owners should rejoice he will go 140+ now I passed
Damn… swapped from Dawson to Touk Miller (for Docherty) 2 mins before kickoff. Dawson had the lower breakeven but saw him around this price for the year, whereas Touk seemed priced towards the lower end.
Hopefully things pan out, but its a hard watch ATM
Last week not having Dawson killed my round – this week not having Dawson OR Laird is NOT the start that I was hoping for. Plus not having money in the bank or rookies ready to cull yet puts a real dampener on wanting to trade in premiums but not being able to. I know I need to be patient…..Maybe next season I’ll start a team with a lazy million dollars left so I can go CRAZY in Round 5.
Brought in Saad for Doch thinking he would get more kick ins and keep his good run going but my luck this year it’ll be the first time he’s gone under 100 this year and spent half this last quarter on bench. I’m done.
No late changes
Subs –
Adelaide : McHenry
Carlton : Honey
@CarltonFC
Very late change: Mitch McGovern (calf tightness) has been replaced in the selected side by Lachie Plowman.
Josh Honey remains as sub.
Doch out for:
TU – Redman
TD – Lloyd
Not strictly relevant here, but time sensitive.
Anyone know anything about Cole’s (WC) injury?
Heard a rolled ankle in a training incident..
Hopefully nothing too serious
No idea, TC.

Same predicament here lol
Mitch mcGovern very late out

Who wins?
Backing the Crows
Dawson VC here, fingers are crossed.
Anyone moving on the banged up setterfield this week or hoping he can kick start his cash gen again?
The more I look at Setters, especially with the Dee’s this week the more tempting it is to upgrade him to LDU or similar
How cruel can SuperCoach be?
Opponent had Docherty, Day, Cole & Rampe… CARNAGE!
VC Laird
E on Hollands and Cowan
Dawson just looks like he has all the time in the world out there, makes it look so easy.
Going to be a great captain of the crows for many years to come I think.
Da da da da da !!!!
Dawson and Laird an insane combination.
Dawson big body and elite kicking with Laird’s consistency and movement from contest to contest. Sublime.
Both popping off.
Michalalalaney also great start. Had 2 HTBs that should have been paid his way.
BAIRD!
Good shit. Goal assist.
wow – my blues being handed a footy lesson tonight
Just about game over already.
Gunna jinx myself… got Dawson VC, Laird & Pedlar in this… feeling pretty happy
Man I am bad at SC this year. Took the VC off Laird 20 seconds before opening bounce……
Same. Fortunately I shifted it to Dawson. Unfortunately I then shifted it to English.
If CD keep scoring Adelaide players the way they are they’ll run out of points to give by 3QT!!
Some monster scores incoming if Carlton don’t make this a contest soon.
They’ve adjusted. Laird has gone backwards despite picking up a further 4 possessions. Not that I’m really complaining

Dawson just an effective kick king.
Pretty happy with Dawson v/c half-time score of 95, also Laird on 73, could be a great start to a decent score finally

Tight Hammy for Saad 10 day break he may be ok!
Had option to pick Dawson but went with Stewart and VC 135 Laird ill take it
Must have jinxed O’Brien brought him in last week and have welcomed scores of 70 & 73 thought he played better then a 73 too
Weren’t the Crows meant to be the start of Blues “soft” run ??
