Firstly the pies don’t have the talent depth to put someone with enough talent to tag Neale.

Gardiner was very late to the contest and knew he wasnt gonna impact it so turned on his side and followed through with an elbow to the back of Daicos. Similar to comments above i dont think its gonna be a suspension but its a weak as piss act
Darcy Gardiner reported for jumping and hip and shouldering Josh Daicos in the back after he took a very simple uncontested mark.
Daicos absolutely ok. Got straight up and ran up to kick the 50metre penalty goal.

I find that quite concerning for their main ruckman. Surely you would expect him on a lot more than that
I guess those that traded out Gawn last week will trade him back in this week for Grundy.

5 players above 200cms with the pies tonight, may just effect Grundy’s score. God knows they’re missing Mihochek and Cox is not the answer!
Cox is next to useless and only in the team due to the forwards missing (Elliott, Mihocek, Ginnivan, Henry). Much prefer a Collingwood team without him in it – and not sure if his glasses are any help in him seeing the ball….
I am prepared to say this will be cox last game – unless he can do something astronomical in the second half.

as a lions supporter i think it’s fair to say we got the slight rub of the green tonight
There was a small period in the last term and that is when I posted that. It was evened out throughout the game, it was just very noticeable through a small period as goals were occurring from them and then the crowd gave a big cheer when the Lions finally won one.
