Freo, fresh off a belting of the Dees, has lost a little experience in Walters and skipper Alex Pearce who are being replaced by youngsters, but it shouldn’t halt their march to the finals.
West Coast bring back some serious grunt with Yeo, Gov, Waterman and Darling to bolster their experience. It is game 100 for Waterman and game 150 for Tommy Barass so the Eagles will want to put up some sort of showing for these boys.
Don’t see it being a repeat of the previous Derby as Freo has too much to lose, but these Derbys have a way of throwing up the unexpected. Watch this space.
