Match Preview: I’ve got a policy on this site that I ask all the writers to adhere to and that’s to not be derogatory about any team. It’s that policy and that policy only that is stopping me from providing my honest opinion about Carlton right now. The Blues will get beaten and beaten easily in this game. The Saints have loved playing us in recent times and I’m not sure the Blues are playing for their coach anymore. Not after last week. Not when everything was on the line against the bottom-placed Roos.

Before trades this week I have 2 trades left and $192,600 ITB.

MID: Walsh, Macrae, Titch, Oliver, ZMerrett, Jelly, Bramble, Sharp (Durham, Newcombe, Downie)

FWD: Dangerfield, Ziebell , De Goey, Dale, Greene, Bolton (Brockman, Parker)
Was thinking of perhaps getting Rowan Marshall in for one of Bramble or Sharp via DPP with Danger.

I have just watched 5 times in the last 15 minutes where Walsh was able to make space but his teammates weren’t good enough by hand or foot to actually get him the ball.
EDIT: to be clear, they actually tried to get him the ball but missed the target horrendously.

After placing the vc on Steel and bringing in The Marshall last night l went out this morning and bought my lotto ticket . So far so good
