Overall pretty happy with this score considering how much it looked like I was going to struggle this week. Sadly another close loss in gun regulars but should maintain my rank overall and am set up well for next couple rounds with cash in the bank.
+3s treacy!!(biggest shock of the weekend), tracca, bianco, steele, Gawn laird and weight man did a lot of heavy lifting weekend.
-3s incredibly disappointing efforts by high more and rcd when I needed them to step up, both cash gen are done and most likely out of my side. May be a little harsh here but Ridley let me down again this week and is becoming a concern.
Overall happy this week and excited to upgrade the side this week with the extra trades and 350k in the bank! Late charge here I come.

Heeney, Short, Ridley all disappointing but generally pretty happy given I double downgraded.

Lever, Rowe and Short screwed me and Fyfe’s injury made a whole lot better
Lost 3/4 and probably will drop heaps again in rankings

2124 – McCrae. Plenty of good scorers this week including The Bont, Merrett, McCrae, Gawn, Crisp, Laird, etc. Hoping to move up in the rankings this week

I ended up winning 8 out of 10 leagues thanks to some massive efforts in the last game from Bontempelli, Macrae, Daniel, Ryan, Brayshaw & Treacy.
1702/ Lloyd/ ranking very high/ no leagues won
I thought do I go Oliver or Gawn for VC – I went Oliver
Since that didnt work out so well I thought Lloyd or Laird for C – I went Lloyd
At least Treacy and Scott were better than expected.
On the bright side I have over 900K to spend this week which will probably see Wines, Mitchell and Duncan all come into my side.
An extra bonus is that my side didnt lose this weekend. Go Roos !!
I agree shaggy, it was nice not being disappointed by my hawks this week!
It would be of significant assistance if your coach would play Downie and Brockman.
It’s not like Hawthorn is playing for anything. You wont make finals and my side will ensure they win the wooden spoon and get that prized #1 draft pick at the end of the year.
I also think we have a name player lined up to draft in via the rookie draft. Dunno who – just a feeling I have .
On a more serious note it would be kind of interesting to know if any real Afl coaches play Supercoach.
Lol, from what I’ve read brockman has been disappointing in the vfl dropping in and out of games. With how well Morrison is playing he won’t be dropped, Morris on the other hand was atrocious last week, probably getting dropped so maybe brockman comes in. As for Downie not too sure, I thought he was gonna play after rd 1 but clearly not doing enough in reserves.
Got my eye on Wines thought it was a POD until you mentioned him.

Good to turn things around after the disastrous start to the season…now sitting just outside top10k after being as low as 50k. Best part is the chat in my sledgers league after being 17th at one stage. Round 13 looks impossible for me though, so going to aim to come out of R14 in good shape.
Yeah….woke up this morning and my tenth league ended up a draw !!!

Won 8/10. Happy to crack 2,000 – happier now that my R13 numbers look better than they did, with the change in Rich/WCE game – makes R14 a nightmare but grateful for the extra 2 trades. No idea what trades I’ll be looking at this week – other than McNeil, Flynn, Highmore, RCD, Madden & Sharp all need to gone by R14….and Goddamn you Zorko!
With you on zorko Lisa….as if we didn’t have few enough trades as it is !!! But, he’s like Fyfe, Heeney jelly and others….we know what he is like when trading him in !!

Am rapted/, won the important comp. Massive shout out to GD for inspiring me to go C on Laird and CT for the most fantastic early mail on the change of the Tigers/ Eagles game. Made me bring CCJ in. CT’s coaches box is the best place for all the mail.
Only disappointment was Heeney, alas I’ve pulled the trigger and for better or worse he’s in the team. (feel it’s going to be for the worse) Yay for 2 extra trades.

Not amazing but decent considering structurally I’m a few premos behind and had to eat below par scores from Heeney, Warner and Short. Racca, Zerrett, Bont and Macrae all great and 80s from Weightman and CCJ were handy.
Managed to put Gra Pol and CT down and FT edging out Tom in Gun’s Regulars #1 brings me closer to making the eight in my own league lol.
Don’t really have high expectations for the remainder of my season but living vicariously through bAps, who is just f*cking killing it! Insane!
Important win for you this week GD! Putting pressure on me, can’t believe I’ve lost 4 of the last 5 but have gone up 6k in the rankings in the last month. Gonna need a big couple weeks here.

Was the week where everything came together. Had a lot of good rookie scores to the point where I didn’t need Robertson, Thilthorpe or Bianco

Reasonably happy with that. Ended up with 20 scoring players so fortunately Highmore & RCD’s scores dropped out.

Little better than predicted but not fabulous. Shout out to Treacy, CCJ, Weightman and new recruit Bolton for getting me that high. Dropped Highmore and Rowes’ low scores.
Had I known the draw change, Bolton would have been Dale but that’s life. Had 22 for next week till Fyfe popped out of the season. Downs side is only have 13 for R14 at present.

Dropped in the ranks but it could have been much, much worse – Josh Treacy of all people saved the bacon this week! I’ve made horrible trades this past weekend and now I have to patch it up. Gross.
I get to punt a couple of misfiring rookies this week, which is always a nice feeling. Because I like getting ahead of myself, I’ve also drafted a shortlist of mid upgrade options for Round 14. Looking at the price tags does not make fun reading!
2008 / Macrae / 244 (+2)
I feel like I’m treading water with so many huge scores from the higher ranked coaches but 15 trades left (including the 2 extras) and just shy of $600k in the bank gives me plenty of options. Maybe too many.
Currently only fielding 11 in round 14, so the plan is to add 1 or 2 “value” premiums (Jelly, Whitfield, Hall, Hawkins) and Reeves this round for rookies with round 14 byes. Keep enough cash on hand to add Bont and Merrett next week, and do a sideways move to make up the numbers if I have to.
Very pleased GD after running into tsunami after tsunami early in the year. I’m having great fun with the chat in my sledgers league after all the shipp I was getting when 17th early in the year

With news of the Tige’s game getting moved, I went early on Reeves , Bianco and Whitfield.
The Good.
My whole midfield, bar RCD.
Bont . Macrae . Laird . Steele . Crouch . Brayshaw. Walsh.
Then Gawn . Mills . Zorko . Dusty . Poulter and Bianco were solid.
The Bad.
Short*
RCD . Warner . Rowe . Highmore all scored sh#t and lost $
They will all be on the chopping block this week.

*Short, I’m tempted to flip him at his bye. I just know that the next week Houli will get injured, and he will go 110 for the rest of the year.
Anyone got any downgrade options that are likely to play R14 ?
