Going to be a big discrepancy between the good teams and the bad teams this week due to Neale and some dud premo scores.
2551 / Macrae
Was hoping for 2600 if Grundy was able to go large but still very happy. Had all but 6 premos ton up, feels good to peak right before finals after a very average year.
2420/Macrae/1.5k
Feeling this is a reasonable score with Doch, Neale and Grundy all eating ass.

Stuffed up the skip by rationalising that Danger might go large against the hapless Crows, even spending time forward. Assumed it didn’t matter as I had Neale as back up. How’d that work for me?
Still won 9/10 leagues and managed a spot in the eight in a few despite missing two rounds mid season. Hung in for a crack at the eight in the contributors league by sneaking over Thommo who had Grundy as Skip as was relying on Cameron to get over me – failed by 13, sorry Thommo.
Apart from the great scores this week, congrats to all who made their league finals and the very best of SuperCoach luck to each and everyone of you.

-3s Where to begin. Worst offenders are Neale as C, Cameron Daniel. Disappointing but forgiven from Lyons, Petracca Neale

Really crap 2264 / Macrae
Regretting my 2 ins this week of Z Williams & Goldie instead of Lloyd & Nic Nac – but the money I saved will hopefully allow one upgrade next week.
Below par scores from too many – Doc, Daniel, Neale, Goldy, Grundy, Petracca. Still 12 tons but not enough to make any inroads. Oh yeah, plus Draper’s 122 on the bench.
Lost 8/10 leagues. Disappointing end to the season.
Sorry Lisa, but I really needed that win, lol.

Docherty, Racca, Fyfe, Ryder, Neale, Shuey, Hurn and Grundy all below par, but still managed to make a modest gain OA. Will trade aggressively this week and see what happens.

Captain Neale cost me a chance at a massive score! Can’t fault him though, he has carried my team all year.
2396/lachie bloody Neale/ moved up to 66 overall despite messing up Macrae loophole….
No real complaint against Lachie, been immense all year as skipper

9/10 leagues finals including 2nd spot in LOEC3.

Really stuffed up with Oliver into Neale. Tried to be different, should have stuck with the more regulation Macrae into Neale combo. Was lucky to have Draper at R2 – running without a premo R2 since trading out Gawn after Rnd9.

Really blew it with my VC choice of Oliver leaving me having to leave the C on Neale but like everyone else has said he’s been so good all season. If I’d gone Dusty, Bont, Titch, Jelly or Nic Nat I’d have cracked 2500. Anyway, can’t be too mad about it.
Happy I took a flyer on Maynard as my Sicily replacement when I was either going to go Williams or take a rookie score in D and upgrade to Fyfe in the mids..
Highlight is that all of my rookies (except Skinner and BJ Williams) played, scored some points and made some $. Was seriously worried they’d all get dropped and I’d have cash generation and coverage issues for the rest of the year. Still nervous tbh.

Somehow, I still won 5/9 leagues and moved up 600 spots.
What could of been if only I’d had the balls to Captain Nic Nat..
Ah well, No time to dwell.
My backline is a mess, and needs urgent attention.
