Had already traded out Goldy for Gawn when I made the “go big or go home” decision to trade out J Kelly & Z Williams for Haynes & Greenwood at the death knell of the GWS game which got me over the line in all 5 finals this round.
If I could get through one week without any injuries to deal with (Doc, Simpkin, Mosquito) that would be awesome!

3 wins into the prelims, feel like I’m finishing strong. Happy with my decision to grab Rozee as an F7 loophole worked a treat.

Escaped most of the carnage except for Jack Martin but now it looks like I have to deal with the Doch as well. Should move into Top 500 as I was only 73pts off 500th place.
Won 3 out of 4 Semi-Finals including a double header against Catta.
Lost to Zac-ZacAttack by 13pts so I am in 9 Prelims.
My team moved up to 434 overall so I did crack it into the Top 500.

Was looking good to progress to the prelim in SCT 5 but old mate Travis’ Mack Attack came out today and put the hard tag on my two guys who held a 49 point lead going in. His brilliant coaching won out in the end with his decision to play Lachie Neale on the ball while Lukosius and Rankine apparently stayed in the hub.
Well Done Trav and good luck next week against those Humble Pies.

Gotta post the good with the bad and f*ck me this was bad.
Traded in Berry as my Shuey replacement only for him to go down after a tantalizing 32 point first quarter, ate J. Martin’s 35 with Schoenberg and Wicks dropping out of B18, had J. Kelly and Hurn missing and I’m now left with two trades. OOOOOF.
After plummeting down from a career best rank the last thing I want to do is think about SC but I’ve gotta have this captaincy article written by tmmrw lol.

Apologies for the win in SCT contributors. I think my captain Neale punt was enough unless Berry went 130 . Super unlucky with your scores this week GD. I thought I was dead to rights so held all 3 trades for my final upgrades to hit Motts cash league final hard.

Not a bad result based on not having Naitinui & Kelly.
Simpkin & Doc are a real issue with only 2 trades left. I am at full premo but would rather not be forced with trades, not that we’ve had a choice this year

Walsh and Setterfield have being firing which is good to see.

Have made it to both leagues prelims with 2 trades left so happy with that.

I have $144K and one trade. looking to do Draper to a M8* under $486 200.
This will leave Hurn at D6 with Rivers as cover.

I’m in 4 Minor Finals and still want to finish as high as possible.
