A couple of wrong choices on the field but overall obviously chose wisely to be there.
Big call out to the 2468 someone got in “Pound the Priest”.

Stephenson, Rowe (instead of Warner / Brock), and C Daniel prevented the big score that it could’ve been

Tried a little move to set myself apart from the people fielding Rowe by loopholing him hoping he’d go low. He did. But then my replacement Scott went on to score 23. Will see how those 4 points work out for me.

Improvement on last week. Danger to Heeney was ok, not as good as a Martin or dunkley, but the extra money allowed me to upgrade Dom Tyson to selwood (135)

Stumbled at the end with Taranto, was hoping to crack 2300 points. But not a bad week i guess.

Up 15k after a mediocre Round 1, bounced back this week
Lloyd, Laird and Short all went 120+, although still burning I passed on Ridley. Good to see Gawn and Grundy return to 130s and love having the three Big Dogs in Bont, Macrae and Dunkley – made watching the Dogs beat us today a little easier to bear lol.
Regretting not backing myself with Brayshaw and Ridley after having them in my team all pre season.

Poor performance with only 7 tonnes and 6 of them were 120
Premo/mid price PODs that performed poorly Williams, Stewart, Brodie Smith, Will Brodie, Daniel with 3 of them scoring less than 70
It looking round 3 that Oliver Henry will be traded to Campbell, another rookie will probably enter the team. Going to have to live with my decision of Brodie and Smith. They need more efficient ball use.
Can say Nick Hind was a good POD choice so at least 1 was a success

My 4 PODS I went with was Zac Bailey, Brodie Smith, Will Brodie and Nick Hind
Went Bailey due to him being played in a lot more centre bounces
Hind due to him playing all last season in Essendon VFL as half back
Brodie Smith was expecting Smith to take Lairds role as their next backman. Sadly doesn’t look like it.
Will Brodie has potential but not loved by Dew. Was 440k last year just 1 game. Needs to cement spot in team. Had most clearances for team Rd 1 in 64% TOG. Slightly more time this week just inefficient ball use

Well at least my team is consistent…2187 points last week and now this.
10 players at 100+ and 10 sub-80.
Need to improve: Neale, Daniel, Rowe and Zerrett.

Will look to bring in Jordan and possibly Berry (Crows) this week, but didn’t start Danger/Rowell so not feeling too bad about using those trades. Pumped to have started A. Brayshaw, and if (when) Neale sorts himself out it looks like all my keepers will be flying.
Really trying to play the long game this year, and I think my team looks decently set to chip away at the rankings all season.

Happy so far. Could’ve been better if Rowe and Koschitzke had been more efficient but with only 2 trades im thinking I need Flynn and Jordan but to afford it I may have to get rid of Powell. Thoughts?

Duds: Daniel, Fantasia, Clark, Merrett, McGrath, Zorko (who had 88 with 10 minutes to go and finished on 64), Dow and myself for starting Rowe on field ahead of Warner.

Rankings jump up and down a lot over the first few weeks, so I’m not too worried from that standpoint, but there’s no way around the fact that this was a down week for me. Hunter at R2 is not working out very well… time to move him on. Floyd and Meek have been good, but I only had Floyd on the field this week. I also had Gulden on the bench last week, and forgot to stick him on the field this week – doh!
On a happier note, I was thrilled with Jiath’s 119 in defence.
Onwards an upwards!

Couldn’t have done much more,petty things like fielding Brockman over Bergman for a few extra points would have been nice.Pissed off in Sportsbet tipping,8/9.Having the exact margin in Freo game means that non-decision to Brisbane cost me 10 grand( or at least a share in it)!!.

Ehhhhh, I’m ok with this. My teams issues feel like the ebbs and flows of the game rather than my team being stuffed, though Neale looks really bad.

Lowlights – C on Titch, Neale, Taranto, having Dow instead of Impey, no James Jordan.

Every year, I just cannot get the starting premos right. This year it’s Neale, J Kelly, Zerrett, Cripps & Daniel. Over 700 off the pace & overall hopes dashed already.

I traded in Mitchell & H.Clark instead of Martin & Walsh that cost 45 points and 67th place OA. I need to address Caldwell and my gut says Neale has to go.
TU: Caldwell to Atkins saving a trade, banking 50k and keep Neale
TD: trade Caldwell & Neale to Martin & Walsh and go for it
Why not keep Neale and trade Caldwell to Walker instead of Atkins?
Only 5k difference and Tex is about to have a substantial increase in value.
Its a possibility. Walker playing great ATM and yes will go up in value.
The reverse button is going out get a work out this week.
