  1. 2,409 (pre scaled – waiting on Steele, Hayes, Brayshaw & Ryan final scores)/Miller/ranking to be confirmed.

Big scores from Neale, Miller, Short, Butters, Brayshaw & Ryan.

Crisp & Ryan showing everyone why you don’t rage trade premiums after one game. Now what to do with Chapman & Whitfield?

Happy with this week. Wish i had captained Neale though. Whitfield making me tear my hair out. Cripps & Heeney giving me PTSD vibes about trading them in again. Every year

The defenders bounced back in a big way. Brayshaw won’t be cheap for a while. Brodie was good, but I need Xeri 😉

    1. Is Xerri important to have it just a cash grab?

He had hawks and WCE first 2 weeks, not exactly a tough start.

      1. I realise Xerri may not put up such great numbers going forward. I do like his role and he will make some decent cash. Also I save $60k downgrading from McGov ( The 40 in his price cycle will severely stunt his early cash growth) I can use this money to get someone like Owens to a money maker.

To answer your question . Yes its a cash grab. Thats the name of the game in SC 😉

Ashamed to post score last week, no trades as I backed my picks.

Need to bin Whitfield me thinks.

  5. 2533 post scaling. Was on track for a solid 2380 until the last game when Ryan and Brayshaw blew it out of the water. Solid VC from Macrae for the second week in a row. So missed some big Captain calls. But considering I’d be extatic with 2500 from a fully upgraded team, I have absolutely no complaints about the performance from my team.
Except Gawn. You’re better than that!

No Heeney or Cripps… so many bad things start with them.

    Neale – 198
    JHF – 98
    Cogs – 99
    Brodie – 99
    Stephens – 95

Champion Data taking the pi$$ and withholding tons.

    2470 / Neale

Xerri, Bowey, Cripps & Heeney the targets.

A good comeback after a poor start last week

3s stephens, neale, short, Ryan, hinge, butters, Brodie and macrae
    -3s gawn, daicos

Not sure about trades this week as feeling somewhat confident with maybe a rage trade or 2 incoming. Seeing some huge scores this week however

  8. 2568 VC Neale really good round from everyone although having second thoughts about Whitfield and Steele on my team. I made the correct decision in my opinion to trade crisp for xerri which I needed to start due to a unavailable player and houston.

    1. Great move.

Although losing Crisp hurts, it’s always about the combination of ins and outs that matters.

Talk about a late rally from the Sunday Funday, was projected 2260 or something before todays games.

  10. 2439/Macrae/??

Really happy with this week’s results, having a good start to the year so far.

Honestly, not many players disappointed me except for Chapman and probably Gawn (even though 88 is not usually a bad score, it’s low for Gawn’s standards). Rachele and Daicos I can excuse because they’re still first-year players.
Best players for me were Neale, Macrae, Miller, Butters and Short! Good responses too from Crisp and Ridley after the first round too.

Happy but had C on Neale then decided to take Heeney 140 score so could’ve been bigger. Some trades could be done! Interesting week. Go Pies.

Solid week but lots of trade dilemmas

Hewett and Heeney look like must haves before their price rises, may have to use a trade boost

  13. 2423/ Mccrae

No trades last week. Even my underperformed are still making money, so we’ll wait till team sheets this week.

I’d like Cripps and Heeney in the team, but can’t get everyone.

  14. 2436/Neale (VC)

Decided to hold off on any trades round 1 and thanks to some clutch rookie scores McCartin 80 at D6 for injured Mcinnerny and the E on Stephens 95 pushed 2400.

Gonna to 3 trades this week. Not sure who yet. Have a few rookies to correct (Chapman/Gov/Ward) plus a few misfiring Premo’s (Mcinnerny/Whitfield)

Only rookie I’ve missed on is Rachelle so he probably comes in

My best ever, stocked that Ryan arrived today and surprise tons from Bowey and Brodie helped out.
Just got to figure out what to do with Darcy and Whitfield this week.

  16. 2438/VC Neale
Happy after an ordinary start last week. Dumped McInerney for Hewitt as only trade.
Neale, MaCrae, Short, Butters, Satan and Crisp over 120.

Chose Hayes over Rachele and gained 10 points in about the only strategy of the week.

Tragically 3k short of doing McGovern to Cripps so may need two trades to pull that one off this week

Thought it was ok, but geez there’s some unbelievable scores getting around for this early in the season.
Cost myself 33 points by switching Hayes onto the field instead of Brodie, ughh. But on the positive side was C-ing Neale.
Thanks to Crisp, Ryan & Ridley for redeeming yourselves this weekend. Whitfield on the other hand, you’re on thin ice…

Took the VC of Neale but luckily Risked it on Brayshaw up 3,384 places to 260 definitely my best season start.

  20. 2379/Macrae/14377

Was a slight drop from last week to 2721 overall, but still quite happy with the score I got.

Positives: POD Mills after his poor 1st week back with a 147, same with Ryan and his 156.
Neale, Butters, Macrae, Short all with 130+ scores is what I like to see

Negatives: Gresham with his 51 due to 32% DE from 25 disposals. However he had a lot of the ball so has a lot of potential to score big again.
Whitfield with another 70 makes thought of offloading him as he just doesn’t seem to be a premo right now.
Mid pricers Witts and Blakey were average with 70s but I still see potential.
Sadly Zerrett is out for 6 weeks and will need to be traded so a lot of thought will be made this week. Same goes for any rookie switches

    Cool.

McGovern to Xerri is a certainty. After that not so sure. I’d like to get Owens to Caldwell which could be done by going Gawn to English or Whitfield to Hayden Young. Can I afford not to get Cripps or Heeney?

  22. 2382/Macrae/9627 Overall

Could easily have made 2500 using the same rookies on the field this week, rather than the ones I shifted on the field that would have made me 2500 last week.

2 Trades coming up to bring in Cripps.

  23. 2,329 / Macrae / 21,721 up by 2,426

    No Trades before R2.

Bringing in Cripps feel too risky to not do, will need to get Bowey to facilitate that. Not sure about a third. Don’t own Martin but not sure if I need to bring him in. Will have to look at the BEs and see if there are any other bargains I can’t pass up. Then back to no unforced trades for a while I expect.

  24. 2208/Macrae/48,915 (-14k)

Appalling, I know. But can’t be a flog and only post when I pop off, gotta take the good with the bad.

Pretty much a case of no Neale, straight fielding Durdin, Whitifield terrible (forced to start him over Ryan to grab Hinge) and Parish underwhelming yet again.

Planning a radical set of trades to get Neale in.

Great to see so many good scores around the site though, stayed tuned for SCT Leagues & Coaches Update at Monday afternoon.

OK overall. Disappointed with Whitfield, Marshall and McGovern but happy with the rest.

2-3 corrective trades this week, then I will be pretty happy with my team and don’t intend to trade for a while, unless I have to.

Totally unexpected especially with English and Hayes as my starting rucks.
Maybe only 1 trade this week
    Whitfield to Doc.

  27. 2,341/Macrae/22,345

No Neale, Cripps, Heeney or Brayshaw so can’t complain.

Gawn, Steele, Whitfield and Chapman underwhelming- will probably trade two of them out this week and see how the others perform next week. Will definitely be behind the eight ball with trades remaining (used BOOST last week) but want to get my team right then sit on it for 3-4 weeks.

Good luck for H2H start this week everyone!

Decent week again with most people firing will be doing big moves this week to flog off some underperforming premos (shitfield)

    Studs:
    Crisp
    Short
    Hewett
    Hinge
    Mccartin
    Macrae
    Miller
    Neale
    Stephens
    Butters
    Brodie

  29. 2372/Macrae/15,889 (round), 29,346 (overall)

Whitfield & Gawn are probably my biggest worries. Might give Gawn another week as most of the other “premium” rucks are also scoring poorly, but Whitfield is gone, most likely bringing in Hall.

Would like to grab Cripps too but just weighing up how I might do that as I’m pretty happy with my mid-priced and rookies midfielders…

  30. 2500/Neale/ 3000th

    Preuss to English
    McGovern to Xerri
    Steele to Cripps

Thoughts? Obviously getting rid of Steele is harsh but cash generation is important and Preuss to English seems like a great move.

Pretty stoked with that really, given Durdin & Sinn had a grand total of 48.
    Trade Time.

  33. 2,349/McCrae

Pretty happy with that, since I got better results from Ryan, Brodie and Crisp, who were all concerns after Rnd 1 (no trades made yet).
Need to clear out a couple of Brissie boys, I think. Rayner and Bailey are not covering themselves in glory in the fwd line. Thinking Bailey to Cripps is an obvious move, will need to replace Rayner with a fwd for 300k or less.
Maybe Xerri, but I’m not sure if there are any other options.
