Average again, all trades gone with Daicos to Sicily this week.
Still have cover on all lines, some underperforming players I’d love to ditch but no choice now
Hopefully I can remain in the top 500 for end of season.
Updated rank 460th -> went down 8 spots

Would like to thank my PODS of Stewart Cameron and Steele for knocking me out of my leagues.
Steele has almost made his way to the Never Again List for he did to me this season
Macrae about to join him unless Bevo fixes his mind or a new coach comes along
George Hewett only unique player of a mention.
Time to plan for another season

It seems I have selected a Cinderella team.
They all turned into pumpkins at round 20!
Oh well , next year will be a good time to put this years lessons into place.
Tbh i think I like it better in pre- season and before the byes when everyone is plotting and planning and sharing info and ideas.

Big week. 2450 moved up 730 places to 1,980. Captain English. With such a hard week for captains, feel like I dodged a bullet.
Super subs J Cameron and G Hewett were huge. H Young last two weeks has been surprisingly good. Scratched him off my never again list.
Used my last trade for Daicos to Ryan. Newman or Houston turned out to be better choices, but with my unbelievable luck with Jezza and Hewett, can hardly complain.

Had the week off in all 10 leagues, through to prelims.
Very happy with 118 from my new recruit Young who replaced Daicos
Looking at Steele to Oliver this week as a POD, but worried about Maginess tag
Not having English this year just keeps hurting

Think I’ve used up all my luck this week. Put Liberatore on the bench as the only way to take emergency Hewett’s 142. Net gain of 122 points and a league win.

See you later, Supercoach 2023. Before this round I was top 10% OA in my second year of this caper and pretty darned happy. I earned the week off before prelims in 2 of my 3 leagues and was hopeful that Walsh returning next week would get me into the GF in both.
Carrying Ridley, Walsh & Naicos because, even though I swore I’d hold trades for finals this year, I justified burning them with the idea that I was just being “aggressive” early. Haven’t had a trade since round 18…
Crashed out of the one league final I had this week because:
Mills, Warner, Zerrett, Dunks, DCam, Libba (C), Stewart and Conigs ALL UNIQUES.
My opponent fielded: Jaicos, Atkins, Brayshaw, Marshall, Butters, Rozee… ALL UNIQUES.
Been quite a ride but, with Libba gone next round, so have the last of my hopes for ending on a high note.

Went up 47 spots even though I could only get 21 on field. Had Walsh, Hawkins and Daicos on the pine, no cover with Mitchell being dropped and no trades left.
Went from 4 playing on the bench to zero in a couple of weeks.
Had a shocker 2 weeks ago and dropped 1500 spots.
Hoping to stay inside the top 10,000.
My main team scored 2163 with a donut. My Tech team scored 2438……I think there is a message there somewhere.
