  1. 2285 / Oliver / was ~3280

Hung onto my GWS boys thinking they might show something for Cameron, and 30-odd touches between Cogs, Whit and Greene probably says it all.

Maybe Crisp, Trac or Bont this week.

    No Gawn, Steele or Cripps

    Sicily, Laird, Touk, Walsh fantastic
    Brodie, Witts, Hewett, Preuss awesome
Whit and Cogs pooh , Rowell not much better and Martin’s score is because Rutten needs his head examined for the role he played

Pretty happy except for trading in Rioli Jr

Around average, or just below, like my rank (and i try so hard). disappointed the Giants didn’t bring it for Cameron’s last game. Started the round at potentially 2500, slowly watched it dwindle away. Won 3 out of 4 comps. Disappointed in my oppo in TalksCheapSosYaMrs giving up. Am sure it was stated it’s a try all the way comp. It’s so frustrating when the oppo give up (they had 4 non players)

Won 10/10 leagues hoping I can crack top 1000.
Cogs the main problem on field and gonna have to get rid of Steele.

Get the feeling it’s not a particularly high scoring week.
Still feeling the hurt though of trading Butters & ROB to Rioli Jr & Darcy for a grand total of 58 points combined. Ughhh.
Heroes (120+) for me were Treloar, Brodie, Preuss & Petracca.
Props also to Ridley & Daniel for finally putting up some decent contributions. Luke Ryan can go to hell.

    1. It’s going to feel so good when I can pull the trigger on Ryan at his bye, he may not last that long.

    2. Absolute props, Spoon.

Have such mad respect that you post your rank good or bad, not like these flogs who only show up 3 times a year when they hit 2500 lol.

Best of luck for the rest of the season.

      1. Thanks GD.
It’s been a shocker of a season, my worst ever by a long way. I figure I should at least let it serve to make others feel better if they’re having a bad run.

Well this week had a massive Sunday collapse!
Was looking to score 2400 with ease until I had Whitfield, Coniglio, Ryan, May, Cripps, Oliver all fall less than a tonne. Those 2 GWS players to then not make 50 is just adding salt into the wounds.

Backline was atrocious this week with the only tonne breaker being Blakey.
Fwd line was on fire until Coniglio showed up.
Happy with my POD in Mills for his recovery from last week.

Score looks average for the week, but I keep wondering which midpricer I trade. Butters and Gresham returned but Whitfield/Cogs will have a new coach which may be position changes for better scoring

  8. 2391/Mills/ 7 from 7 league wins.

Will be moving up from my season ranking of 24k.

Really my side is not that bad.

Very glad I trusted my instinct in making Mills C after Macrae was a tad underwhelming.

Managed to have Rioli and Carroll on the bench.
Coniglio – really?…..you should be ashamed to take your salary for this week.

  9. 2156/Neale/down about 2k to ~13k

Like many, a rough Sunday with Cogs, Green, Ryan.
Thankfully had Rioli on the pine.
I think it might be time to move cogs on, Martin seems to be more reliable atm.

A middle of the road score. Was looking the goods before Oliver and Gawn let me down against road kill. Laird on debut was great rioli jr not so much but he was at least on the bench unlike others had him.

+3s laird, Ridley (weird seeing him on the +3 rather than the -3, Sicily, hewett preuss and butters

-3 Steele hurts but proud of him for playing on, Ryan doing my head in, gawn, crippa and cogs.

Not sure on how my rank will go but imagine it’ll be middle of the road. Steele trade will be season defining and probably a rookie downgrade.

  11. 2185/Neale/29k before this Round

Usually wait for ranks to update but this round was a disgrace.

Copped Cogs, Cripps and Martin like everyone, then Rioli Jr straight field, Steele and then f*cking Darcy murdered me.

    Ooof.

  13. 2307/Neale/Was about 26k

Laird, Miller and latest addition to the team, Sicily were the heroes. Accidentally leaving Neale as captain somehow became a happy little mistake.

Downers were Cogs and Gawn (can pardon Nic Martin being a first-year). Hopefully they can both bounce back next week

  14. 2163/Oliver/was 3.3k and should plummet 2k

Sic, Hewett, Touk, Brodie and Preuss only ones 120
The ‘praties’ in the group included McInerney, Cogs, Crippa, Berry and unfortunately Man of Steele. Thankfully MR Jr on the pine.
Made some seriously bad decisions in hindsight. Was going use a boost and upgrade Cogs and Berry and decided to save it and only use one trade, to bring in MR Jr for cash gen – how’d that work?

  15. 2273/Oliver/11152 ( up 3122)

    Good – Treloar – Sicily – McGovern – Brodie – Butters

Bad – Steel ( has an excuse due to injury ) – Rowell

    WTF – COGS –

  16. 1953/Cripps/irrelevant

Shitshow doesn’t begin to describe this round or my season.

Whitfield, Boak, Danger, Green, Rioli, Hayes, Cogs and N. Martin all on field and yet another bust C.

Another “premo” in T.Mitchell stuck on the bench.

Probably a decade of SC experience and this has by far and away been a coach killer.

  17. 2204/Oliver/6714 (down 692)

Won 6/10 leagues and dropped 15 spots in SCT group.
Roughly a par score but could have been better.
Butters back to form but Steele injured. Rioli on field, Cogs, Short, Cripps and Oliver all under par.
    Bye Jack, hello Tracc.

Still sad about not sticking with Mills as captain but really can’t complain. Also really upset about Steele being out for 2 months just as I started feeling better about the saints and Cogs will probably have to go too.

Stuck with my theme of failing miserably on captains choices but avoided the fate of Rioli… poor week to trade out Gresh but good week to trade out Cogs… needed to fix my Round 12 bye… might use last boost this week to do one upgrade and pick up Clark and Khamis

  20. 2233 / Oliver / 4747 OA

Lost 77 places on my overall.
VCd Neale and rolled the dice on Oliver. When am I going too learn too take the VC scores, I’d hate to know how many points I’ve missed from not taking the VC.
Fielded Rioli which hurt but bought in Hamilton and Dawson so I’m happy with those two moves. onwards and upwards.

    Sic, Hewett, Miller, Preuss, Brodie
    – Short, Oliver, Cripps, Brayshaw

    Welcome Darcy Cameron.

Clanger was Butters on the pine looping him and Cameron, instead of Cogs as thought for sure he’d lift.

Cogs will become Laird this week.

MEH round, rank slipping, but I scraped out some tight league wins with some coaches putting some excellent teams together. Props to Treloar for PODing up when I needed it. Missed the last couple of weeks on my VC/C’s so I’m hoping law of averages will be putting me back in the mix over the next few weeks.

  23. 2248 / Neale. Sitting Just inside 2k

Avioded Rioli and Carroll on feild and resistied the temptation to bring in Darcy. Witts definately the winner. With Darcy, Gawn and Oliver being below average, this is the reason i held my ranking. Lots of Bullets dodged this week.

Cogs was an embarrisment, honestly its been said before, but these million dollar long term contracts are not the way forward for clubs and their playing lists. They are List cloggers……….Whitfield, well enough has been said already. Wouldnt surprise me if some selection surprises come out of the GWS this week.

Grundy also looking sideways at you. Was painful to watch Treloer ripped the Pies apart. And to think Collingwood are still paying a large chunk of his salery. What a fiasco.

Will be interesting how GWS line up next week, if it wasnt for the fact Steele is a forced trade, Cogs would have been cannoned for Cameron.

Cripps, well brought him in last week and was really happy, but went missing for large sections of the game this week. Didnt sight him anywhere near the sherrin for much of the 1st & 3rd quarters. Hoping his work load was reduced due to the fact GWS are a basket case and the Blues looked well in control, just hope the hammy was not the issue. Cripps, please do not do this to me for the 3rd straight year. Williams another bad injury and a long road to recovery.

    Stars: Tracca Miller Smith Pruess
    Disspointements: Steele Cripps Cogs Short

Trades: Well Someone for Steele (Laird??) & Clark.

Have had nearly the perfect year with my team nearly complete, except for my captain choices and keeping English all year very stuck on what to do with him..

  25. 2250 / Bradshaw (ugh) / inside 5000.

Going in the right direction with overall, generally happy with my team but a few that aren’t earning their spots on field and may get luxury-traded this week.
