Looks like I’ve won 7/8 leagues, missing one by 15 points.

Last week premos got injuries, this week rookies. It’s a tough game!

Pretty wrapped to almost hit 2,400 and won 19/19 leagues. Poor scores from Marshall, Simpson, Bolton, O’Connell, Cleary & Sheezel were offset by big scores from Steele, Xerri, Merrett, Cerra, Petracca, Rowell, NWM & Dawson.

  3. 2281 – Xerri – was top 8,00-ish.

Bring on the byes man. Could have been a LOT worse but Bowey copping the Jordon tag on debut was honestly not something I had considered, mistake on my part, Hewett and Maric finally having a shit game (they were due to be fair), Boxshall sub on field, Hewett on field falling asleep after HT, Sheez playing a non-SC friendly role, plus a whole plethora of sub-par scores (Rankine, Chad, Clark, TDK).

Shout-out Ned Long for not making me feel terrible for choosing to trade Clarry out instead of him, and Libba scoring nearly 130 on debut.

Will be looking to upgrade Reid and trying to get a mid in so I can remove a rookie from the equation on field. Will be looking at players with the last bye, probably Merrett but will do some shopping around.

  4. 2123 – Gawn – Ranking: in a galaxy far, far away….

Putrid round. I have 10 dead rookies now (newest additions of Z Reid & Simpson) and carrying JFH. Yep, bring on the bye rounds. Only saving grace is I’ll have $241 ITB post tonight’s rage trades (Bont, Martin & Gray in for Reid, Taylor & Stone).

  5. 2298 / Gawn / was 2k

Was looking a lot sadder before the afternoon’s games with Daws, Trac, Gawn, and Sinclair all coming 125+ but somewhat counteracted by crappy score from Maric, Flynn and Ranks in the same time frame.

Huge range of scores from using a boost; Simpson 0, Bolton 73 and Heeney OK at 110. Eight dead rookies on the bench this week and Simpson and Reid to add. (ouchhhh…)

Had 18 for this week (which included the above two rooks) and did not want to trade but looks like one, or both, of my Norf dudes (Sheez and Caleb) will have to go. Man this week was carnage in a bottle!!

  6. Can someone please elaborate for me why I had Simpson go 0 but my emergency in Erasmus’s score doesn’t come in for it, is it because he actually had TOG which makes it not count?

180th for the round, my best round score ever! Huge climb back into the top 10% over the past four rounds after dropping wayyyy out of the top 10% after round 3. Have been fairly disciplined with limiting sideways trades and non-bubble-rookie picks over this time and got rewarded big time this week. Bit of luck having to C Gawn after no viable Xerri loop but stoked regardless!

Went too safe and kept Xerri’s VC score.

New recruit was Martin was was great (out Callaghan)

Held JHF and Macrae hoping a rookie or two might score ok, to cover, but didn’t work and took a 0, 27, 40

Flynn and Sheezel were pretty horrible as well.

This week is about banking as much cash as possible, no point in any upgrades until players had their byes.
