Some absolute stars for me this round. Bont, Grundy, Houston, Zorko, Dale and some others. Won 14 of 15 leagues and still riding the high of the pies comeback. Overall pretty good weekend
1998/Zorko/ was 94th
with Macrae, Fyfe and Powell absolute spuds.
2,113 and that was with Butters as C.
What could have been!

I was ranked 1171
Having Simpkin as a late out really hurt.
The 2 league losses were to the same coach by only 5 points and surely Simpkin would have scored more than 55.
On the bright side brought in Houston this week who did the scoring for he and Simpkin.
TGreen is becoming a real problem.
Gets it enough but his DE must be appalling.
Hey Shaggi, so sorry for today- I put that on the coach. With his experience he should be able to game plan a second half to protect a lead like that.
I too have Green and am most likely to trade him out. Not because he’s playing that bad but because it seems that CD are really penalising the disposal of inside mids like him and Serong and Miller etc…
It looks to me like they’re calling those extraction handballs ineffective now rather than a clearance,it’s for this reason that I traded Miller two weeks ago, Oliver 3 weeks ago ,Green this week and probably Steele next week.Serong hanging in there by the skin of his… Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would trade those four out one week after each other but it looks clear to me…

I have traded Steele Miller and Oliver also in the last couple of weeks.
Really don’t understand how you can have 30 possessions and score 80. I know he can look untidy at times but his disposal seems okay to me. Maybe too many changers.
Clarkson should have backed in Phillips.
Bit of past Hawthorn favoritism with Shiels there I think.

Lost one league only thank to Butters v Houston.

Letdowns Fisher, Dawson, Ryan, Neale, Butters – if we only get them all firing at once !!
2188 with Bont as captain.
I may never go that well again.
2,213 – Grundy captain, 175th for the round. 12/12 league wins.
Still beyond top 30% overall, but nice to see the plan finally work out. Sicily, Houston, Bont, LDU, Grundy, English, Heeney all 135+
Still some long term issues, but looking forward to a big second half of the year!
1935/Sinclair vc/14.5k
16 played, Ryan,Green,Steele,Comben,Reville and Serong the only under the ton. Beat the 2nd place team in my only league match. Pretty happy with that!
Only one more spot to fill (fwd line )till as premo as I’m going to get current side has 2590 ave(inc C) plus the Reville upgrade so I’m looking forward to the rest of the year!

Mixed bag of a week. Had 18 warm bodies and got very lucky with Houston, Bont etc, but too greedy in holding back trading Sharp to a premium.
Another 18 this coming round… looking forward to the byes being over!
