  1. Don’t normally kick this off but might as well.

2404 / Errol / 2.8k pre. Looks like a score to maintain rank

Was going to use my last boost but decided to wait on Gawn, can always trade him out this week. Traded Caldwell for Rankine (tick) and Sexton for McKercher (meh). Used Jackson to cover Max and kept Freijah and Dowling on field in the FWD which worked OK.

  2. 2309/ Dunkley C/ 4 of 9 leagues won
    Was ranked 1474.
Was always going to be a tough round with McGovern, Heeney, Fisher and Gawn all missing.
I have 6 North players in my squad and with the team getting flogged meant they all were pretty much underpar.
Rozee was my VC so had to go Dunkley.
3rd week out of 4 my VC has scored more than my C. This includes Bont and Houston.
Still have 3 trades and $223.8k ITB
Dawson and Green are painful to watch.
Xerri has been a great trade in and not getting sucked in to getting English

  3. 2389 / Butters / 656 (was 847)

Another solid week to push me back up the rankings. Had Heeney, Fisher and Miller all on the bench this week, with Rankine and Gawn traded out. Miller should be gone this week as I only held him for Humphries’ tonne. Going to leave me with 1 trade left……….

Only had 4 players break 115 this week with LDU, Martin, Butters and Neale. Took the C off Neale and kept Butters VC because of it.

  4. Nice, fellas. Jim, Shaggi, Nato.

    Trash on my end though.

Awful round. Just lots of premos hovered around 90-110. Salem covering for Heeney was bad, Reville covering for Fisher was even worse. Phillipou replacing Sexton was a real win for the week though and gives me the cash to turn Reville into a $520k player. Hopefully this week gets better. Still hoping to crack the 10k

  6. 2008/Bont/ 28 millionth !
This has been by far my worst season of Supercoach ever! I’ve just used my final trade just so I can put a fork in the season! To put this round into perspective, I scored more in round 1 when I had 40 trades then I did this week. The clincher came two weeks ago when I attempted to trade out my last two upgrades and desperately wanted Rankin, who I couldn’t afford by about 200 bucks. All I could afford was Caldwell. So instead I sacrificed Jackson, who was my insurance for when my ruck line went down, trying to justify that Kruger was scoring similarly. Sure enough in almost a perfect sequence Caldwell gets a big tonne, Darcy goes down with concussion, Gawn gets injured,Rankin gets reported and Jackson is guaranteed of tonning up for the next 3 weeks. It’s happened verbatim this year, where I persist with crud scores for weeks on end only to lose patience, Dawson and Jackson being the main offenders. Should have stuck with Grundy knowing it would take some time to get into Sydney’s game plan. The quality of my midfield Rowell, Oliver and JHF in particular, I have rookies outscoring them by miles.
    Rant over

  7. 2280/Bont/47,000

Supercoach continues to hurt. Captain Bont cost me, Tom Green is frustrating especially when he gets some much of the ball, and regretting getting Curnow in (never again…!)

  8. 2467/Neale/ from 26000 to 14000 in the last 2 weeks. Couldnt afford Rankin, got Caldwell. Didnt have Gawn, Miller, Rankin, Fisher, Sexton, Graham, Reville . Covered Heeney with Dowling. 13 tons. Finally some things going my way.

  9. 2326 / Dunkley / 213th

Still thereabouts, recent captaincy picks have let me down.

Holding on with 1 trade remaining.
