I think the team picker for those coaches with Supercoach Gold or Herald/Sun subscription comes out the week before Xmas.
I’m having a brain fart – If I VC Zorko and he goes big Sat night, then I plan on putting the Captain on Houston who isn’t playing on Sunday, and is on my field (zero trades left) so I would get Zorko VC score as my captain score. I’m clear with that, but my question is – if I have W Dawson as emergency for NM on the bench in the backline, and he ended up playing on Sat arvo, I understand that his score would come in for Houstons – but would that mean he would be my Captain??
I don’t have any other non players on Sunday that I could use as Captain if I waited until Sat night for my VC Zorko to play, and he goes BANG. Only Houston. But obviously if W Dawson played Sat arvo, I need to know if I captain Houston – does W Dawson become my Captain? Does that make sense?
Otherwise I just play it safer and VC someone from an earlier game, as I have not playing Reville who can be captain Sat night.
It’s only a bottom 8 Grand Final – but still trying to resuscitate my season and fight it out to the death, lol.
Hey Lisa. If captaincy on Houston on field then your VC Zorko will get the double up. Captaincy wouldn’t automatically swap onto Dawson. Good luck with your final and hope the pies can go out with a win tonight.
Thanks FBS – yes will be watching the Pies tonight for sure – will be a bit sad thinking that’s our last game for the season, but hey – we are still the Premiers!
