  1. Is Neale the best mid I can get under 590k?
    Already have Laird, Merrett, Taranto and Brayshaw under that price.

    1. Jelly and Wines are both good options in the 590-600 range. Only viable under options I see are Petracca and Titch, who both average max 110 from here I think. Question then is whether or not Neale averages 110+ for the rest of the season

    2. Following up:

      HAWTHORN speedster Jarman Impey has been sent for scans on Thursday night with fears his season is over with a significant ankle injury.

      Definitely misses this week, injured it at training today.

  7. Last week my trades were Jordon, Poulter and Byrnes > Newcombe, Greene and Langford

    I don’t know whether to make trades this week or hold so any trade advice/feedback would be greatly appreciated. If I was to make any trades it would be to a MID so I can move Langford into the FWD.

    Update: Planned on downgrading Waterman to Bramble but the Impey news has me question if I trade him now

  14. As i cant afford anyone decent in the mid for Duncan im thinking of trading him for a Def via DPP.

    What are your thoughts on Ridley?

    TU – Get him, his cheap and should avg over 100 for the rest of the year.

    TD – steer clear, not gunna improve his post injury scores.

  16. Logistical question,

    Nornally during the week, i can trade a player out, then bring him back in to a different position and it doesnt count as a trade.

    If i do this once the round starts, does it still work that way?

  18. Impey going down with injury has made things more difficult for me getting to full premo. I am now tossing up between the following and would like to know what the community would prioritise.

    Impey and Jones to:
    TU: to 2 mid pricers (e.g. McKay and Haynes – which would have to be keepers.)

    TD: a rookie and a premo (e.g. Merrett, Wines) – only downfall of this is I would likely finish the year with one rookie on the field due to limited trades (a Weightman or CCJ type)

  26. So I was looking at Jones to one of Edwards or Bramble, so I can do Madden and Bianco for Danger and TBD for next week.

    If my math checks out, if I trade Jones to Edwards I need next week’s Bianco trade to net ~90k, necessitating a score of around 80. If I trade him to Bramble, Bianco needs a score of ~40. Obviously all things being equal I’d rather Edwards but it seems pretty risky.

    So:

    TU: Edwards
    TD: Bramble

    Jones > 102k donut (need as much cash as possible, you’ll see why)

    Next week:
    Madden > Danger (will just have enough to do this with 1 trade)

    OR—

    Td;
    This week;
    Impey > Miller
    Jones > Briggs

    (This option means I won’t be able to get to full premo, will have to hold CCJ or sideways for someone around 350 in a few weeks.

      Personally I’m passing on him and will look at Williams from Port Adelaide in a week or two

  30. Missed my trade opportunity last night to go Robertson to Bramble ands open up swing options. Robertson sitting at F7 with a score of 83 from last night.

    Currently have:
    Jones D6, Madden D7, Murphy D8
    Cripps M7, Bianco M8, Newcombe M9
    CCJ F5, Poulter F6, Robertson F7, Briggs F8

    Must win game so considering the following:
    Jones to Bramble via Bianco DPP leaving a bank of $144K

    TU: Cripps to MID up to $618K (Kelly/Cunnington/Mitchell).
    Leaves Bramble, Newcombe, Bianco as M8-M10
    Poulter , Robertson (83), Briggs, CCJ in FWD
    TD: Poulter to FWD up to $457K (=no one)
    Comment:
    Double down – Poulter to non playing FWD (leaves $355K for next Rd) to access Robertsons 83 and have a loop option for Roberston, CCJ, Briggs

    1. If upgrading Poulter, consider McDonald or Stringer. But taking the 83 would probably be the safest idea and sets you up for next week

  32. Still got Cripps sadly, and have to trade Gray this week. If I trade Cripps for a non playing dpp spud, I can get Robertsons 83 and have a massive war chest for coming home. Trades getting a little thin. Still have Scott and Newcombe on mid bench.
    Is this a crazy idea ??

  34. I have Impey, but trading him out isn’t necessary this week, so no rush on that. I am seriously considering trading Murphy back to Highmore for cash grabs…. I’d be left with 7 trades, $230k itb and 3 premo spots left (with Robertson and Poulter available to be traded too)

      Essentially add about 12 to every BE this round.

      This is due to an unexpected spike of the R14 MN which is expect to return to 5000 in R15
