  1. The TDK conundrum…

    Xerri at R1 with no playing cover – not intending to hold

    TU: Trade to Marshall
    TD: Trade to Gawn

    Intention would be to get Gawn post bye or whenever his price lowers. Can keep Marshall at flex or upgrade to Gawn then.

  3. Going to be alot of TDK related questions here i feel lol

    TU: TDK -> Marshall (R2)
    TD: TDK -> ed richards/dunkley (Flynn is my R2 for 2,3,4 weeks)
    BELOW: HOLD TDK

    First two trades are:
    Bice -> Sinclair
    Cleary -> saad/Simpson

    I’m bloody nervous about Flynns JS but BJ williams already in the 22 is a positive imo. Comment any thoughts 🙂

  4. Need a separate topic for dealing with TDK – for those with him as R2 (more of a drama than those with him at Flex, with Gawn as R1)

    TU : Hold TDK, wear a donut – flex comes into play ( my R3 in A Reid is not playing so no cover)
    TD : Trade TDK for Marshall

  5. want to bring in Saad El Hawli this week but cant decide whether to bank some $100k and

    T/U trade out Cleary (this would mean I bring Elijah hewett into forward line and have him on bench)

    Or get rid of a non playing rookie but only bank $10k and

    T/D Trade out Knevitt

    • 1 week for sure, might come back next week but then has the bye the week after so missing 2 of the next 3 for sure. CJM in trade talk mentioned the possibility that they could just rest him for one extra week so he gets 3 weeks off. Think the chance of 3 weeks out is enough to cut bait for me

    • Will..According to the coach he will be right next week from a Throat Larynx issue BUT clubs tell porkies about player fitness all the time..Short was a late out last week BUT he will be fine next week and now he is out again this round…If you choose to take a donut for TDK then he comes back next week R11 and he has a R12 BYE so another donut…and Xerri has the same bye!..

  6. Getting rid of bice for El-Hawli as still have trainor and Carroll sitting on def bench so plenty of cover there

    With hustwaite out and clay hall and campo with the E means I have to play moraes on field who I feel is risk of sub

    410K in bank, is it worth going to mcluggage/sinclair type here or just hope moraes doesn’t get vest?

    TU – bring him in
    TD – hold trade (22 left with 1 boost currently)

  7. Hi coaches would like to know your thoughts regarding Rozee . Will he play midfield with JHF maybe being a late out with illness. And if so would he still be sure of gaining ddp ??

  8. Went Davidson to Chad Warner last week
    Def – Sheezel, Dale, Roberts, Short, Reid, Bice (Trainor, Stone)
    Mid – Neale, Trac, Rozee, Warner, W.Ashcroft, Holmes, L Ashcroft, Lindsey (Knevitt, C.Hall, Huswaite)
    Ruc – Xerri, TDK (Boyd)
    Fwd – Smith, Rankine, JHF, Macrae , Daniel, C.Cleary (E.Hewett, Kako)
    Flex – Flynn

    $43,400 ITB, 27 trades left, 3 boosts

    Going Bice & Short to El-Hawli & Sinclair and have held TDK. Will have $168,200 ITB
    Not sure what else to do, any feedback appreciated.

  9. Can’t afford Simpson and Sinclair which would be ideal..

    Would you go:
    T/u – Cooper Simpson and a Clark/Holmes/Dale type

    T/d – Worse rookie in a Wicks/Johnson but get Sinclair

  10. Just how stupid is it to even think about this?

    OUT: TDK, Flynn and Bice
    IN: Gawn, Whitfield and El-Hawli

    TU OMG MAX AND LACHIE WOOOOOOOO
    TD Go to bed and stop over paying for premos

    • I’ve done similar Chillo
      OUT – Short, Bice & TDK
      IN – Sinclair, El Hawli & Gawn

      If we don’t get Max now, when will we ever be able to get him?
      I figure with both games Sunday, I can always undo it and go Marshall instead to save the money – but I don’t want to!

      • It’s more that I hate all the other options. Cameron has been great but can’t help feel he has over performed and the correction is coming.
        And then seeing what opposition rucks have done against the Lions recently…

    • Chillo it’s logical and great as an upgrade but you are neglecting the cash generator part of the game. Unless you have a solid pool of rookies or and plenty of money ITB, what are the trades you are planning during the byes? I am sure you thought of that.

  11. Torn on trade ins:

    T/U – Dale, Green & El-Hawli

    T/D – Xerri, Coleman & El-Hawli

    Leaning to T/U just to keep upgrading, but it’s scary having to take on Xerri
