Richmond will challenge Liam Baker’s one-week sanction at the Tribunal tonight.
Liam Baker failed in his attempt to have his one week suspension overturned so will miss round 4.

We have officially accepted Marcus Windhager’s one-game sanction for rough conduct.
Marcus will be available for selection in Round 5.

“Following some imagery, scans have shown that he’s suffered a fracture to his thumb that requires surgery,” but hopefully he’ll only miss the next two games and look to be available as we come into our ANZAC Day Eve game.”

Hawthorn: Mitch Lewis (hamstring) and Nick Watson (ankle) will be unavailable for round 4.
Hawthorn Head Doctor Liam West said Watson was expected to miss a small block of football after suffering a syndesmosis injury.
“Fortunately in Nick’s case, he won’t require surgery on his ankle,” West explained.
“He’ll spend the next period in a moonboot to allow his ligaments to heal before we begin loading him up again.
“At this stage we think he’ll be out 4 to 6 weeks, but will continually reassess this during his rehab period.”
West said scans on Tuesday confirmed Lewis had suffered low-grade hamstring injury from Monday’s game.
“Mitch won’t be available this week given the six-day turnaround, but we will monitor his response to loading to determine his Round 5 availability,” West said.
“Being a lower grade injury we don’t expect Mitch to miss a considerable amount of game play.”
Sydney: Dane Rampe
Dane was subbed out of the game against Richmond at half time with hamstring tightness. He had scans this morning (Tuesday) which confirmed a low grade hamstring strain.
He is expected to miss 3-4 weeks
Fremantle: Sean Darcy (knee) could return next week.
Richmond: Liam Baker’s one-game suspension has been upheld by the AFL Tribunal and he will miss Gather Round this weekend.

Ethan Read – 18 year old. Read was taken with the club’s second selection in the 2024 AFL Draft at Pick 9. Standing at 202cm, the skilful tall was a member of the SUNS Academy from 13 years old and boasts a unique skillset with elite aerobic capacity for a key position player.
Will Graham – Graham earns his debut on the back of an impressive first pre-season after being another of the club’s first-round selections in last season’s AFL Draft, taken with Pick 26.
He was Palm Beach Currumbin’s youngest ever senior player as a 15-year-old and, alongside Read, was a member of the Allies U18 squad in 2023, impressing with his clean ball use and breakaway speed.
He played four VFL games for the club in 2023 and recently earned opportunities in the senior team during pre-season.
Sam Clohesy – Twenty-one-year-old Clohesy is also a former member of the SUNS Academy having since relocated to Melbourne as a teenager.
The electric rebounding half-back was selected with Pick 4 in the 2024 Rookie Draft after winning the Fothergill-Round-Mitchell Medal as the most promising young talent in the VFL in 2023 and playing against the SUNS in the 2023 VFL Grand Final for Werribee.

Dowling was Adelaide’s best on ground in their Round 1 SANFL match, accumulating 34 disposals and a goal in their five-point win.
Fremantle: Justin Longmuir is confident that Josh Draper has what it takes to play on one of the Blues’ big men (Charlie Curnow and Harry McKay) in what will mark just his third AFL game.
“He (Draper) is in the team to be a key back, and their job is to play on key forwards,” Longmuir said. “We haven’t settled on match-ups or structure or anything yet. But there’s going to be a lot of things we do right up the field that help Pearcey and Drapes and Luke.”
