At the time of writing, nearly 50.000 trades are the result of the big three injuries, Will Day, Nathan O’Driscoll and Luke Jackson. Nearly half these trades have been used on West Coast rookie, Clay Hall. Now whilst he is a good player, we still don’t know what Mini’s thinking is as he has already dropped the contested midfielder after a good scoring game, and may do so again. With the impending return of Jake Waterman, Liam Ryan and Jack Hutchison, the retention of a couple of the West Coast fringe dwellers may be tenuous. It is even likely that Hall and Matt Owies could slip down the pecking order. Keep a close eye on team drops. Interesting to note that less than a third of top 1% coaches chose to include Hall, and only a quarter of the top 10%.
15,000 coaches decided that a one week price rise was not enough of a deterrent to keep Riley Bice from coming in this week. Personally, I think it is still good move, but I am a bit biased since I traded him in in the second round to replace the injured Dog Cleary. He looks to be a scorer and is given the role to do so.
Six of the top ten trades appear to be upgrades, although only Lachie Whitfield, Jack Sinclair and Caleb Serong would be in the proven premo ranks. The other three have been scoring beautifully but are not yet established premos, and I guess the price of just on half a million has determined those trades. Only 65 coaches in the top 1% picked up Caleb Serong and none of the other premos on the list. Moving to the top 10% list, coaches have picked up Andrew Brayshaw in nearly as many numbers as Serong, with some selecting rising Crow, Jake Soligo, as their speculative purchase.
Give us some thoughts. on your intentions this week. Are they upgrades or are they forced?
Alas POD(Sam)Darcy, I knew him well.
….
NOD and Day having to go is brutal.
NOD was on for a decent score v Freo and would have thrived in the crunchtime, repeat conditions. Big picture he still had heaps of coin to make and would have been super stable and strong OF until that last upgrade.
I’m actually cut about it lol.
Don’t have Day but was planning to. Great price and Hawks run REALLY opens up: Port, Cats, West Coast, Richmond, Melbourne. Literally butter for MIDs.
Him out depresses the stock, I think, of others guys I was looking at like Nuke and Moore – as well as the Hawks overall too.
If Rankine is a late will have to trade Hewitt to field 6 forwards 530k to spend
TU Dudley to make cash and upgrade next week
TD Darcy- is he a keeper?
Comment have rankine mccrae smith daniel Davidson stone.Trade jhf last week ♀️ Other suggestions
Long time lurker, first time poster. Is Freijah to Stewart worth doing this week or wait?
I’m doing this trade this week GT. Probably a net loose in $ (Stewart still has some money to loose but so does Freijah), but surely a gain in points this week (and ongoing).
Who to get in for Callaghan, Frejiah and O’driscoll?
Dudley could make way for Switta this week, worth keeping an eye on before pulling the trigger
