Over the past couple of weeks, many coaches have been seeking some clarity on how the others are going leading into round 12, the first of our much loved byes!!
A mini poll should answer some of those questions, starting with number of trades, followed by boosts and finally, number of players available in R12.

Would love to see extra question added of ” How many trades are you planning on making in R12″ to give a more accurate idea of how many trades coaches have at the moment, before any R12 trades….if possible?
The old SC strategy is to not trade this round, but that’s under different formats with far fewer trades available. Maybe with more trades this year there’s merit in some trading this round.
Yep – you are either strong enough this round in players, that you trade in a premium with the R12 Bye (eg Doc) that then gives you more numbers then over 13 and 14 … OR, you take a risk on a downgrade rookie option (eg Owens / Cleary) on the bubble that you hope will play the next two rounds as well, to give you numbers …
Otherwise, the safer option, with three trades and also possibly a boost next week, is to hold fire and see what happens …
Then again, the list of possible “good” “premiums”, not already in teams and worthy of bringing in next week, is very limited!
And of course, there is also those that want to do the RAGE trades of the likes of Heeney … and for that I don’t blame them!!!

Given the number of extra trades we have now I’m looking at a couple of downgrades this week to non-playing rookies, to provide me more cash for upgrades through Rs 13 and 14, and also providing warm bodies for those rounds too!
I should add my current plan is not to trade this week. Just saying I see the merit in a little tinker here or there.
