Written by JimmyDee on August 4 2021

Which of these recently underperforming SC potatoes do we get rid of for the knockout final.

  2. Damn, I could only select one!!
I wanted to pick them all.

No trades left any way after an injury plagued season.

  3. Cripps rotted away on my team all season as a pseudo premo. Gonna keep him, let it really sting as to never see him back in it.

  4. I’ve been doing some comparisons from season to season to try to learn where the value lies in this SC game and thought I would share some here as it’s about underperforming. I looked at change in average from 20 to 21 (obviously with 21 incomplete it could change, but gives and idea of value in each price range)

Players above $600k starting price (included all 17)
Change in average (pts) (% of ave growth) ($ change)
    Macrae + 6.7 +5.5% +1.3k
    Bont + 6.5 +5.6% -15.3k
    Lyons + 4.5 +4.0% -51k
    Steele + 3.2 +2.6% +32.6k
    Satan + 2.3 +1.9% -14.1k
    Titch + 1.5 +1.3% +40.4k
    Merrett -0.9 -0.8% -26.4k
    Grundy -1.5 -1.3% -86.4k
    Danger -4.6 -4.0% +11.3k
    Petracca -5.5 -4.7% -13.5k
    Goldy -10.3 -9.2% -34.9k

  5. Must have a damn good team to want to get rid of the “Bargain Basement Buy of the Year” Mr Isaac Heeney.
    Last four weeks his 95, 86, 128 & 98 have been just the ticket…. ;)’

  6. Heeney averaging around 100 last 5, Haynes averaging around 90 last 8. Wouldn’t exactly call them underperforming
