Unlike our more usual TU/TD threads, the thumbs here are for indicating whether or not you think a particular proposed poll is worth having, not voting in said poll.
A couple of very popular options from last week – a poll on premium rucks, and one on ‘must have’ rookies – didn’t happen last week, but they didn’t go unnoticed: I just figured they’d be better to have after we had two weeks of data. So both of those are already penciled in for some time this week.

I think a poll based on what rookies are a must have. I don’t have Berry but I’m unsure if he’s a must have.

I own Berry and believe he is pretty close to a must have.
He had 7 tackles R1 and 10 last week. This should help convince the coaches to keep him in.
Also last week he went for 69 but kicked 4 behinds. Even if two went through I think he tons up.
I can see some pretty handy scores/ price rises coming from this young fella.
My must have rookies in order are..

Flynn
Jordan
Warner
Campbell
Highmore
Powell
Berry
Kosi, Brockman and Rowe are borderline, due to their sporadic scoring. I’d be holding, but not in a huge hurry to trade them in if you don’t own them.
Tex is a rookie in the short term !!!
A popular one will be Neale, trade or hold, though i don’t have him in my main, just the tech league.

Might be interesting to get coaches’ thoughts on when it’s appropriate to make a luxury trade (if ever). Ie having 30 trades rn and blessed to have no injuries as yet

I think the Tex trade is just chasing last weeks points. Do i think he will be in the top 8 scoring forwards from now till the end of the season? NO!
Yes he will make $80k this week, but he’s just as likely to score 50 a week for the next three weeks. Its a swerve from me.
Same thought process, just find it a unique and interesting situation.
Tex is a free kick surely…if he averages 50/60 over next three weeks, its $200k in the bank.
Poll on what coaches think is more of a priority
Do you trade out a player like Neale/Cripps due to their poor first 2 rounds? Or
Do you make a corrective rookie trade to help with cash generation?
What should be made first as one could lose a lot of money in price drops but the other can gain a lot of money
I’d love to see an analysis of who looks like the must haves to help with our corrective trades. Maybe with ratings for how essential they are. There’s probably about half a dozen rookie mids but I’d also love to hear thoughts on any other must haves.
