    • I traded him out most people are trading him out, I put him in the flex, traded him then put a good ruck in for him if you have the cash: eg: tdk, Gawn.

  1. At this stage, is it better to get rid of dead rookies (Paton, Leake etc.) or to get rid of rookies who may stop making money soon and don’t have a great role (Kako, Stone etc.)

    • Personally I’d keep rookies who are playing and prioritise dumping dead rookies where possible. All it takes is one spike score to make a bit more money. Be interesting if others have the same take in the poll.

      • I am a bit the opposite. I have Paton, and he needs that 1 game to get a price rise. He is also emergency every week so hopefully is close.

When the choice is who to dump between D8/M8/M9 it is the one which fills the budget and unlikely to make more money.

    • Premos almost always drop in price from their starting price – Bont coming off an injury surely is a wait and see situation. He also has the Rd 12 bye so I would consider him rd 13.

  2. Who are the top premos mids we should look to bring in? Classics like Daicos, Neale Merret.. or is there a bunch of unproven players that look to be right up there this year

With a Break Even of 171 his fall of near 60,000 will get worse..now 581000…so going down to 531000 in the next couple of games is likely according to Footywire…a top footy stats site.
Do you have an opinion about Kangaroo Xerri…he is dropping big dollars and his scores are nowhere near last season…Does he have a big niggle and is it time to go…Who are the options other than Big Maxy?

      • Thanks RobbyBobby. Agree on Flanders. Will be a steal at ~$530k l. I’m sure many will have the same idea.

        Re: Xerri.
I started with both him and Gawn. The price drops have been a bummer, but doesn’t really have an impact unless you sell. Gawn will come good and has started to score much better. I was expecting Xerri to do the same but hasn’t kicked on. I personally think he may be carrying a niggle. I have other more pressing fires this week, but I am considering switching Xerri out to Briggs next week if he doesn’t get a decent 120+. Will see how he goes.
TDK another replacement option but maybe missed the boat there. Some seem to think Pittonet back won’t affect his scoring too much. I’m new to SC so prob not the best advice from me!!
