With all the carnage coaches have had to deal with this season, many have been burning through multiple trades every single week. Naturally, they want to know how many trades everyone else has burnt through, and how many upgrades fellow coaches have left to make.
Using an average of around 90 as the cutoff for defenders and forwards, and 100 for midfielders and rucks, how many keepers do you currently have?

And how many trades do you have left?

24 trades left
13 keepers plus Cripps and Phillips
13 keepers if I include Impey in that, plus Cripps and Phillips, and 21 trades left. Disappointed is an understatement!
With the carnage, I have to hold Cripps for the time being and keep trades. Heppell may stay m8. Very dark on Lukosious moving to the midfield and missing out on kick ins…he tonned up twice in first three rounds and was looking a great pod. Team back in some sort of shape despite my worst score for a long time last round, but not alone there it seems.
Concentrating on bye rounds and players who rarely miss games….rather miss a few pts here and there than donuts later. How can anyone guess when they will run out of trades if the season continues as it has been so far.
20 Trades
15 Keepers counting Taranto and Impey
If Taranto ends up your M8 and Impey your F6 then you are not in bad shape.
21 Trades / 15 Keepers
DEF: Ridley, Stewart, Ryan, Short, Docherty
MID: Macrae, Oliver, Merrett, Brayshaw. Laird
RUCK: Gawn, Grundy
FWD: Ziebell, Zorko, Sidey
Like many have had a few forced injuries such as Danger, Neale, Dunkley , Butters, H Young
20 Trades. 12 Keepers
+ Jiath, May, Cripps, N. Anderson, Impey
14 Keepers including Impey and not including Crippa,
20 trades left, hopefully only Chapman down to Frederick this week
Do CJ/ Sholl count as keepers?!?
I think a keeper depends on your team and remaining trades.
Players like CJ have to be keeper’s for me as I’m down to 18 trades.
Could do worse then having CJ at d6, like having no trades by the byes.
After current trades:
Rank 1,500
19 trades
15 keepers (not including: Stringer / Cripps)
A. Fyfe / Highmore & Waterman rotting on my bench.
15 keepers, 23 trades, 130k, 800 overall
I have included Atkins and Taranto as keepers. I wouldnt mind them finishing M8 and F6 with the lack of cash generation going on this year both been good. I have hunter Clark whose also been serviceable and could be a last upgrade at D6.
For clarification: Cripps is not a keeper on current form, but will likely be a keeper if he averages 100 from here. Impey isn’t a keeper unless more forward carnage occurs, Jiath definitely not a keeper and Walker nowhere near.
With the lack of cash gen, if Impey can stay fit he is definitely a keeper.
His role won’t change throughout the year and the ball will be down that end all season for my lot.
Could do a lot worse than him as a F5/6
But his role already has changed. Struggled as a midfielder.
A few CBAs never hurt anyone.
Say that to NAB
Are there actually any keepers this year? I don’t think I have a player who hasnt dropped below 100
Before I flick the switch this week it’s 14 green bottles and 20 bags of gold.
I’m just trying to actually keep the “Keepers” I’ve got.
I’m not trading this week. I don’t care if I have to field Rowe for 36.
Again!
19 Trades:
Keepers (15)
Def: Ridley, Docherty, Laird, Short, Stewart. (Daniels at D6)
Mid: Macrae, Walsh, Guthrie, Oliver, Mitchell, Taranto
Rucks: Gawn, Grundy
Forwards: Ziebell, Impy.
Yes my forwards suck.
20 trades left. 16 keepers.
Lloyd, Steward, Laird, Short, Daniel.
Macrae, Steele, Oliver, Merrett, Mitchell, Taranto.
Gawn, Grundy.
Martin, Ziebell, Impey.
Happy to keep Impey at F6.
20 trades left – 15 keepers if i count Cripps and williams – which i don’t want to, but may have to
