Had the VC on Oliver who was primed to score over 120 if he kicked that snag
But I think I’m gonna roll the dice on Grundy this week. Been good all year even after his injury. Fingers crossed he goes big again!

I’m.. 468 / 3 / Laird.
I think I’m taking lairds score, Father Dougal wrote a very interesting post on just such a situation. I’m not certain on the stats but from memory , it’s something like 2/3rds of the time you go around the same or worse. As opposed to 1/3 of the time going better, even then its generally only by 10-50 points.

So… Saturday went ok.
1242 / 10 / Laird.
Only real let downs were Hawkins and Crouch.
Weitering has a great record on Hawk so 70 isn’t terrible.
Crouch will have to be upgraded at this rate first Dunstan and now Jones have come in and taken a chunk of his CBA’s.
I’d love to get him to Petracca.
I’m still projected 2559 so hoping for a good score.

Hind has been a fantastic pick. I had underestimated him a bit, I saw him a a bit of a boring 90-95 type player. Still amazing as a starting or early pick up. Maybe not so much an upgrade target, but he has been improving almost weekly.
After a solid early start, he is now starting to put the lower teams to the sword, and showing a higher ceiling.
This is the last year we see him as a Forward , so enjoy the ride while it lasts.

In case you didn’t see my comment in the game thread. Edwards was the only one of the emergencies that didn’t play in the WAFL which almost guarantees him to be the sub on Monday.

He should be good for the run. I expect a big response from Brisbane next week.
It will be very tempting to “full send”, and get Crouch to a Neale / Petracca type. I will weigh up my options next week.

Geez there’s gonna be some big scores this week I reckon! With weightmans 28 and not being able to put brambles 120 it’s been a hard week but grundy going large in the second half is massive for me! Need hall to go 128+ to beat my cash league opponent. On 2347 with hall and zieball to go projected 2562. Fingers crossed
