Can I get a quick TU/TD for my final spot.
Atkins has a fantastic role for SC hand picked by Matty Scarlett for it so he looks best 22 and a cracking pre season.
Should I.
TU: pick Atkins up forward and play cox/butts onfield D7
TD. Pass on Atkins and play JClarke down back who has shaky JS and job role
Good start, but that’s six premos. My team weirdly has all the premiums playing in the early games, then only rookies playing on Saturday night and Sunday – anyone else seeing this?
Bont should have scored more had he not sprayed that sitter from 15m out directly in front! Liking his role though but it’ll be interesting going forward once Trelor finds his feet in that mighty Dogs midfield – I suspect he takes more away from Macrae than he does from Bont or Dunkley hence the decision to pick Bont over Macrae to start with.
Ziebell, Flynn and Green to come. Looking like a big start to the season. Hoping for a score of around 2200.
Traded out Powell for AFyfe last night to get Gulden’s score on field.
1808/19/Gawn
Steele, Ziebell and Flynn to play
Bont VC into Gawn C failed.
Gulden on bench but started Rowe & Jordan.
Happy with Young and Clark in defence.
Biggest disappointment was De Goey.
Thankfully SC gods have provided reward via Guldan & Rowe on field. Won’t be setting the score on fire but should get close to 2050 with remaining players.
Walsh, Dunkley, Ziebell,Short, Laird, H Young, J Clarke had a good show.
Set and forget rucks Gawny – average to sh*thouse. but sticking fat – only round 1. Cripps scrapped through.
Danger will be gone for 2-3 – likely replacement is Dusty but looking out side the box to bank some cash and gamble on the likes of Heeney / Stephenson (or others) and pick up some high priced rookies / mid pricers keep the scores rolling….
Also taking in account pre round 3 – moving days for price increase. Sharp, Jordan, Young on the radar. With Buddy potentially returning next week (considering but worried about JS for Warner, Mills (role for scoring) and McDonald.)
Love SC – it gets your brain (and heart) buzzing. Best legalised gambling on the planet.
597/4/Dusty
Pretty happy so far
690 after 7 had the VC on MacRae. Will roll the dice on Gawn now but slightly nervous after seeing 4 ruckman not ton up already, one being Grundy.

558/6/Gawn
A bit sad about dropping Dusty down to Butters so I could add Dow instead of a cheaper option.
But all premos have tonned up so far, all rookies have at least got 50 so it’s a very good start.
402/4 Gawn C
717/7 Gawn C
Should I take Scott’s 56 as F6?
TU: yes
TD: run with brockman or fullarton
481/6 Gawn C
Happy with Walsh, Dunkley and Daniel.
Not so happy with Grundy and Henry (no idea why I didn’t stash him in the bench)
Overall, not the worst. Seeing some high scores already means I’m behind the 8 ball a bit, but that was too be expected.
723/7/Gawn
Bont and Howe let me down so far. Should’ve just gone the tried and true Mccrae.
678 / 6 / Gawn
Good start, but that’s six premos. My team weirdly has all the premiums playing in the early games, then only rookies playing on Saturday night and Sunday – anyone else seeing this?
TU – Bergman
TD – Fullarton
TU: JClarke & HJones
TD: TAtkins & JButts
Is butts a good option at D5? How’s his scoring potential and JS?
890 / 8 / Dusty VC
The 2021 campaign is off to a flyer but all 8 are premiums: Martin, Walsh, Cripps, Saad (my beautiful POD!), Macrae, Dunkley, Daniel, and Grundy.
523 / 6 / Max C
Short . Dow . Cripps . Dunkley . Bont. Grundy .
Scott . Bench.
Going to watch my D5 Hayden Young very closely.
Nice Motts.
Walsh and Saad both look like fantastic picks this year.
Macraes score is just on the edge of me comfortably taking him.Should I
TU: Play it safe and take macrae as VC
TD: Back gawn to smash it today
Looks like this is coming back to bite me in the ass!
412/4 – Short, Bont, Dunks, Daniel
Gawn VC into Merrett
Bont should have scored more had he not sprayed that sitter from 15m out directly in front! Liking his role though but it’ll be interesting going forward once Trelor finds his feet in that mighty Dogs midfield – I suspect he takes more away from Macrae than he does from Bont or Dunkley hence the decision to pick Bont over Macrae to start with.
Happy with the start though.
Good luck for the rest of the round.
Go the Swans!
1901/18/dusty
Butters, higgins, powell and flynn to come.
Projected 2105 but expecting more.
Massive!
5 most expensive players in their lines including Grundy… not one of them cracks a ton and Dangerfield to miss at least one week. FML…
1556/16/Gawn
Bit of a save at the end from Gawn. Lloyd and Gawn in the 90’s are my two failures so far, being premos under 100.
Gulden and Rowe on the bench hurts to see but I’ll put them on the field next week so I can get their inevitable 30’s 🙁
Forecast is 1940 so expecting around 2100 after the last couple of rookies and Ziebell play.
Could have been a lot better, could have been a lot worse.
2007 / 21 / Gawn
Only Powell to play
1529/15/Gawn
The obvious disappointment in Gawn!
Gulden on rowe on the pine hurts.
Happy with the rest of the squad!
Butters, Houston, Ziebell, Powell, Flynn, Higmore and Rowell to come.
At a complete assumption I would tip 2050-2100 but could be better or worse.
1970/19/Dusty
Ziebell, Flynn and Green to come. Looking like a big start to the season. Hoping for a score of around 2200.
Traded out Powell for AFyfe last night to get Gulden’s score on field.
Rate that score but don’t rate that trade!
Yeah, agree. Short term gain for long term loss.
Listening to the wisdom of the thumbs…trade reversed.
Revised current score –
1831/18/Dusty
Ziebell, Flynn, Green and Powell yet to play.
1484 / 17 / Gawn
Still to come – Ziebell, Tyson, Steele, Clark, Duggan
Not enough from too many. 5 premos scored under 100 with one of them big Maxy with the C.
This season stinks already for me. Roll on 2022.
1766/17/Gawn
Still to come – Powell, Bergman, Hunter, Rowell, Taranto
Good save from Gawn in the end. Should have VC’d Martin. Hoping for 2200.
TU take Koschi’s 53
TD field Highmore against GWS
1808/19/Gawn
Steele, Ziebell and Flynn to play
Bont VC into Gawn C failed.
Gulden on bench but started Rowe & Jordan.
Happy with Young and Clark in defence.
Biggest disappointment was De Goey.
1545/17/Steele
Ziebell, Powell, Steele, Bruhn and Rowell.
2100 maybe…..
1969/19 Merrett
Steele, Flynn and Highmore still to play.
Tossed up between Merrett and Steele for C looking like I chose wrong after the 1st quarter but not complaining it’s been a good start.
Buggered up my C – Neale / 1865
Thankfully SC gods have provided reward via Guldan & Rowe on field. Won’t be setting the score on fire but should get close to 2050 with remaining players.
