  1. Ok so couldn’t have started much worse. No Daicos and I have stewart. Bruhn and Hopper under performing. Very poor score coming up I reckon……..

    1. 1336 so far with the C on Green.
      7 players still to play.
Missed the Stewart injury but Jones got me. Chesser and Cowan on the bench.
So far my PODS of McGovern and too a lesser extent Gawn have done well.
Still have Whitfield, Green x 2, Callaghan Marshall Dawson and Laird to play.
Hopefully can crack 2000 which I think would be a fair start.

I’ve been completely absent this offseason as I’ve moved countries for work which has also killed my last minute changes a little. Tried to swap Stewart to Dale at what I thought was an hour before the bounce but the game had just locked and I’m not loving things. But anyway, hopefully less carnage to come and what else are trades for?

Yeo injury was a spanner in the works. Did some restructuring and turned Rozee into Sicily (Because Toranto had played already :()
Lots of last minute changes (including Max Holmes after he was named where I was expecting Bruhn to be

Bruhn underwhelming, but Docherty and Taranto ok. Still playing around with my team at the edges.

    Absolutely dreadful….
Hopper and Bruhn only making BE. Stewart out in 1st quarter. Taranto and Doc only 2 that met their level.
Team looks dead, see you next year

No Daicos which I will have to look at rectifying
Happy that I swapped out Bruhn for Titch yesterday
Hopefully his last quarter gives a glimpse of what is to come
    Taranto, Doc, Cameron all decent
    Hopper and Cowan were average

Am I crazy for considering tom Powell at F5 over flanders? Insane junior numbers and got the role, Named in the centre…

    Talk me out of it

Been an ok start apart from having Stewart, looks like he could become Daicos next week.

  9. Fair enough. Although I chose Stewart over Sicily due to the discount from Stewart’s injury affected score last year and his general durability is better

Gonna be a very low score and I might lose in LoEC #1 by 300 points. My top 4 defenders combined for 194 points with Docherty making up 108 of that. Keen to spend my week rage trading but we’ll come good.

Don’t have Stewart (sorry for all the coaches that do) but I do have Liam Jones so he’ll need to go next week (need to bring Sheezel into the team asap I reckon)

My addiction to the trade button is already screaming at me to do this:
    Out Bruhn Hopper Jones
    In Daicos McKenna Sheezel

Basically a mini reversal from mid price madness to GnR although I’d still have 3 mid pricers in the team!

Pray I can be strong and not press the button.

    1. look at the bench rookies…. Going to be hard to come by cash this year. I’d hold hopper and bruhn since this score is only in cycle for 1 week. see if they can do better next week. I’d trade out jones and if you can dpp a fwd/mid into defence for sheezle.
I have stewart and Due to what’s looking like no funds coming up putting him on bench for a couple of weeks to really maximise his trade out value for the highest bubble guys after round 2. If multiple rookies went 80+ i’d trade him, but looking how it is i want to make sure i get a good return on his trade.

      1. Would definitely prefer to hold Hopper and Bruhn for another week but I have Ashcroft at M8 so I’d need to drop Jones out, field Cowan, Uwland or Chesser in his place, bench Ashcroft and move a fwd into the mids to get Sheezel.

Still tomorrow’s games to come and I have Worpal / Callaghan / Fyfe plus premiums to come – any carnage could make it an easy decision.

  12. 1327/15 C Green maybe
Started Xerri ruck 2 and thought I was a genius until he got injured. Jones….Dale….Hopper….on a positive note Rozees 97 is my worst forward score this week so I got something right. Rookie scores aren’t looking great. I’m going to have to trade Jones and Xerri most likely. Absolute chaos

Jones and no Sheezel less than ideal but a few PODs firing and paying up for Witts keeping me in decent enough stead.

4 GWS players among my 8 remaining. We’ll see what tmmrw holds lol.

Team an absolute shambles. Have Jones Stewart then fielded Chesser.
Bruhn and Hopper only meeting BE.

Only true upsides where the rookies like Sheezel/Ginbey then Gulden and Witts.
Comben on the bench with 83 but Xerri went out so bit fortunate

Chester and Jones onfield has hurt.
Witts , gulden and cheezels helped regain some points.
Looking for a solid Sunday from the remainder.

    1. I’d happily that project scored! Mine is 1795, but have Callaghan, Mackenzie and Davey to play, which should hopefully make it more 1900

  16. 1460/15/Laird (I think I did that right)

First season doing SuperCoach from R1 after doing AFL Fantasy for the last 5 years (still doing it). I knew scoring was different but didn’t realise how far apart some players scores can be.

      1. Scores changes don’t occur until 3 games have been played, so don’t go chasing points after 1 game has been played. Trade injuries and downgrade/upgrading rookies. Don’t sideways trade premiums after 1 or 2 bad games.
There were only 30 trades last year so more leeway this year

        1. Good advice! Thanks. I’m worried I’m either going to blow them too quick or hold them way too long.

When you say score changes do you mean price changes, or am I missing something?

          1

          0
          1. Yeah meant price changes
Sideways trades aren’t as bad this year, but more to the end of the year when you have a full premium team is when they should be made

    1. Yep, should really build a high ownership side to get a feel for it first up. Look through the season why players are being traded in and out(specific roles they have). Then once you understand the point system time to gamble.

      1. That’s what I’ve done this year (no gambles like in Fantasy), and I’m really happy I picked Witts and English.

  17. Have both Stewart and Jones.
Should I downgrade Steele to Worpel to free up funds for next week? Then Jones to Ridley and Stewart to Dawson next week.
    TU Yes
    TD No keep Steele

  18. Have Stewart,Jones and Cowan so backline is stuffed and will need changes. I have Gawn and Darcy wondering if l should switch Darcy to Marshall to get some money for next week.

    1. Fyfe may have played well in pre season but doubt he will get any midfield time, and just because he kicked goals in preseason doesn’t mean he won’t have the yips in front of goals.

  19. Changed daicos to strewart last minute and changed witts to xerri I hate this game cost 200 pts at least I’ve got 650000 in the bank

  20. Reckon I’m up there for the SAO ‘Season Already Over’ Medal. Have Stewart, Jones and Whitfield, as well as the C on Laird. SC Gods have me in their sights!
