Racing SuperCoach 2020

Written by Schwarzwalder on September 30 2020

First of all, a massive thanks to all our contributors this season!!  In what has been the hardest season from a planning point of view, you have exceeded all expectations and delivered on a consistent basis!  Thanks very much!

With the Footy SuperCoach season out of the way, the Spring Carnival heats up again this week with a host of Group One races in Melbourne and Sydney.  To coincide with these classy races, Racing SuperCoach kicks off this weekend and you can be a part of it.  Simply log into your SuperCoach account as normal and click on the ‘Racing’ link inside……….

While you’re there, be sure to join our ‘SCT Racing’ Group (#907361) to see how you measure up against your fellow SCT Coaches……..

Here are a few tips to help out on the weekend.  If they are unsuccessful, you will receive $0 in bonus bets from SCT 😉

Dalasan $325k – Group 1 Turnbull Stakes

Has form over his last five starts through the likes of Russian Camelot & Behemoth……some of the strongest formlines in Melbourne at the minute.  Has drawn well in barrier three and will go around at decent odds ($15), but is sure to be there when the whips are cracking (in accordance with the new rules, of course) 😉

Dame Giselle $225k – Group 1 Flight Stakes

Talented filly who is flying at the moment.  Has already taken out the first two legs of the ‘Princess’ series in Sydney, this will make it a treble.  Has already beaten most of her rivals at her previous two starts.  Stick with the winning form…….

Enthaar $100k – Group 3 Gimcrack Stakes

This is fast becoming the worst kept secret in horse racing……… I got the tip for this horse (for the Golden Slipper, mind you…….no markets as yet) about a month ago.  Apparently the Maher/Eustace camp hasn’t had a faster two-year-old go through its stables.  Footage emerged of its latest barrier trial where it has absolutely brained his rivals (under a stranglehold from the jockey).  The market hasn’t missed it, Enthaar is $1.70 fave for this race.  Hopefully that translates to some easy pts for SC this week…….

Depending on popularity, I’ll get some SCT Leagues organised before the weekend.  Good luck, Coaches!!

  1. Thank you Schwarzwalder, Good to see again. I hope that all is going well?
I will take a look at your tips as I plan my stable.
Good luck to everyone with their selections.

  2. Great work Schwarzy!

Another cheapie worth considering at 100k in a Group 3 at Randwick is Kalashnikov a $2.50 Favourite.

In a Group 1 Race Flight Stakes with only 7 runners you have to throw in 2 horses so the early Fav Hungry Heart 200k must go in along with Dame Giselle.

  3. Miravaille a $13 chance in the Group 1 Flight Stakes with only 7 runners looks a good value cheap option with so many points on offer. 4th place will get you 18pts in a Group 1 Race the same as a 75k option in a listed race that wins.

  4. Thanks Schwarzy, but you can keep Dalasan!

Thoughts on jocks? I’m thinking the old faithful boxer shorts in McDonald. His form hasn’t been great but he always lifts for this week at Randwick. Second choice probably Nash.

    1. Tommy Berry isn’t the worst option either…….Truth be told, I’m a massive fan of Verry Elleegant (got her for the Caulfield Cup again), but she can do a lot wrong. She’s still my top pick but Dalasan will be right there at the 200m mark…….wouldn’t underestimate…….
Great to hear from you, Thommo…..

  5. I dont know a wither from the weather but I’m on board and will have a crack. Surely great specs to win the thing !!
Is Makybe Diva having a run in the Cup ?

  6. Two questions….

Any SC leagues that I can join and pull the averages down…lol ??
How do I find the group chat 907361 ??

  7. Just remember if your horse finish last in a G1 that they will lose $50k,
Also second last in a G1 and last in a G2 and G3 costs you $25k.
