Nice return from Mansell for anyone that held on to him. A shocking injury toll at the Tigers gave the small defender another opportunity and he took it with both hands, knocking up 16 disposals at a very tidy 93% efficiency. Highmore unfortunately looks to have suffered a broken hand and will be out for a few weeks. Solid returns from a number of other rooks were very handy for those who had to cover Whitfield this week. Durham looked good on debut and will hopefully get a few more games to finish the year.

Sharp and Bramble are just the sort of rookies you want at this time of year, providing excellent cover or even as a desperation M8 option if you’ve been unlucky with injuries (and who hasn’t?). 18 touches and five tackles for Bramble, and an outstanding 30 possessions (90% efficiency) and 10 marks for Sharp.
The aptly named West debuted for the Eagles and also turned in a heady performance, recording 19 touches (13 contested) in a winning effort. His WAFL record is excellent and he is extremely well price if you still need a downgrade option!

Reeves made a long awaited return, but unfortunately it was against the all conquering tag team of Gawn and Jackson. Still, Ned managed nine possessions and 19 hitouts and will hopefully provide some cover for us for the remainder of the season. Flynn managed to dislocate his left shoulder not once, but twice against the Swans and it must be doubtful whether he will play again this season.

Ruscoe with the massive breakout game that nobody saw coming, racking up 23 possessions and five marks against the Blues. Middling efforts from the rest of the rookie forwards, but Parker is definitely worth considering if you’d like to set up a fwd-mid swing to finish the year. With all these injuries (and other misadventures) to deal with, it could be very handy indeed!

Hey Chillo, not super important I know, but as I have still got Poulter on the bench I know he is at $266,600 with BE of 110, that subbing cost me over 35k of my bank.
Looks like the time of the year when we all thought of keeping Highmore as D6/D7 has been shot yet again. Highmore to Durham for cover and swing to generate cash foe elsewhere seems logical despite the going early taboos.
