Rookie Review – Round 21

Written by Alza on August 6 2024

We had some decent rookie scores this week but also some lower scores from popular bench cover rookies like Evans, Dowling and Clohesy.

The options are still fairly limited which isn’t the worst thing at this time of year. Roberts looked good in his 1st game just poor use and 4 clangers impacted his score.

Players on the bubble are marked with an asterisk*

The Good: McKercher made the most of his 13 kick ins playing on 11 times to get to 31 touches at 87%. He added 3 marks and almost 500m gained. Roberts continues his late season form with 20 touches, 5 marks, 5 tackles and 469m gained.

The Bad: Curtin was the sub again and played less than 8 minutes for his 1 handball. Looks like a walk up starter in our sides next year with so many games as the sub this year.
