SC Racing – R3

Written by Motts on October 14 2021

Round 2 of SuperCoach Racing has been run and won and there is a new leader at the top of the Supercoach Talk group. Way’s stable Dancing Madman@SCT came out with 277 points for the round which sees Way sitting at 18th overall. Well done Way! Kane’s stable led the way for the round with 280 points. We have 7 stables ranked inside the top 1,000 which is great to see.

See below my thoughts on some of the main races to target this week. A very tough week compared to the first two opening rounds and think we will see some very different looking stables going into this week. For anyone that hasn’t joined yet please feel free to join the group code 392619 (or league as they call it in SC Racing).

As always, note that the below is purely based off SuperCoach value and SuperCoach options and is in no way shape or form a betting preview of the races.

Caulfield – Race 7 Group 2 Tristarc Stakes

A smallish field gathered here for the Tristarc Stakes and it is a very open race with 4 horses all in the market at this stage. All 4 of them look like good options for the week; Colette ($450,000), Nimalee ($325,000), Chaillot ($275,000) and Sirileo Miss (who won yesterday) ($200,000).

Caulfield – Race 9 Group 1 Caulfield Cup

The main attraction down in Melbourne and it looks set to be a cracking race with the barrier draw throwing the proverbial cat amongst the pigeons with the two favoured runners drawing wide barriers. Having said that I think they are still the best options in the race but outside of them feel free to back yourself in. The horses I speak of are Incentivise ($250,000) and Delphi ($350,000) with the former a great captaincy option this week.

Caulfield – Race 10 Group 2 Caulfield Sprint

The Caulfield program is rounded out with the Group 2 Caulfield Sprint and think a lot of stables will be eagerly awaiting this race to finalise there score for the day. The options available are fairly cheap and think most stables will have at least one of the following; Malkovich ($225,000), Curran ($175,000) and Enthaar ($200,000).

Randwick – Race 7 Group 1 Everest

What an absolute cracking race we have here. As far as SuperCoach Racing is concerned it is a tough race to target with many of the main players costing you a lot of money. Nature Strip ($500,000) and Classique Legend ($500,000) look like they may well be worth the investment. For those looking for a cheaper option looks like Home Affairs ($175,000) looks to be the one.

Best of the Rest

Just thought I’d mention a couple of other horses worth looking at this week in no particular order; Kapalua Sunset ($125,000) in race 4 at Caulfield and Eagles Crag in race 1 at Caulfield.

Good luck to all for this round of SuperCoach Racing. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on your stables for round 3 and don’t forget to join the group.

Cheers
