Nick’s Shedda tech took out line honours this week with an ultra impressive performance netting him 2609. Nick got just above the 2600 line by rejecting Tim Taranto’s VC score in favour of Lairdy as captain .

Kennedy’s tech coach Gabriele with Lost Lands picked up second place this week with an almost as impressive 2570. This was also achieved by rejecting their VC in favour of Lairdy but in this case it was Dunks for a net loss.
Just a smidge behind in third for the round was the fast rising Maxismen, coached by Max, with 2549. Coincidently, Max also rejected his VC but obviously not by choice as his VC played after his C. In this case it was Dunks as C and Stewart as VC. What could have been Max.
Haysey’s coach Jessica with Hops of Yakima pulled into fourth place, a measly two points behind Max. Jessica rightly rejected a Dunks 107 in favour of Naicos for a 42 point gain. Good to see the team mentioned in dispatches as it’s been a little lean in the top score categories of late.
Rounding out the top five for the week was the Heavenly Father Dougall and his band of All Nuns with 2546. Unfortunately FD’s rejection of Dunks’ 107 did not come up roses as he went for the normally reliable Baird as captain for a 23 point loss.
A total of eleven coaches scored in excess of 2500, again showing what a strong little comp this is. In descending order, they were; Chips Ahoy!, GumbiesTech, Abels Axes, Tortured Tech, SG Tech Ninjas and YeeterTech.

I think a lot of us fell into the Laird clanger, oh what could have been if I was better at captain picks. Still on we push on, maybe a miracle will happen and I’ll reel in 900.

Owner of Lost Lands here, thanks for the shout out but I must also rant.
Would have taken Dunks as VC if not benched & also had the ‘C’ on Bont all week up until about 5 mins before kick off, saw everybody was pretty much running Laird as ‘C’, so I didn’t want to lose ground to the top 10 in case Lairdy hit a 150 & I didn’t C him. So for the 47th time I’ll tell myself GO WITH YOUR GUT aha
