A score of 2000+ during best 18 would be considered damn good. 14 of the Techies managed this feat, and for many, it lead to meteoric rises up the Tech Ladder. All the top place getters decided against trading out the Horney One in a wise decision.
It all started with Tootlets and Ninjas sharing gold at the top of the podium with 2077 points. Jack could have had outright bragging rights but gambled on Macrae over Houston for a net three point loss. Jack also brought in Bice for some bonus points, and snuck into the top four with his result.
Amir also captained Macrae following a less than adequate Heeney VC. He has however a nice Sinclair POD and judiciously brought in Bice and Maric to rise a hefty 18 places on the ladder to 17th overall.
Not far behind on 2067 was Stewy and the Tech SwanStorm thanks to a very astute , if not gutsy, Sam Darcey “C” that gained him around 40 points on the field. A Bice/Humphrey inclusion may have averaged out at less than expected. However, still rose 10 spots on the ladder.
Alex’s Gumbies pulled 2060 with a nice POD captain in Lachie Neale, and also included the Bice bonus to rise 12 places up the Ladder. FootyFanaTECH and Alza’s Assassins round out this weeks write up with a shared score of 2056.
