  1. Team Name & Final Rank in 2024: T0land’s T00ls / 20k

    Personal Best: 5k

    Best Starting Picks: XERRI, Sheez,Yeo

Worst Starting Picks: Lynch, Tsatas, Newcome

Best Trades: Bonner to GUlden off his bye, Grundy to Meek r5

Worst Trades: the fisher out-in-out shitshow, curnow in r15

    Never Agains: fisher

League Results: lost prelim, lost granny few first round exits.

    Best/Worst SC Moment 2024: xerri 185 C, jezza 143 C, losing a granny by 4 points from scaling.

Lessons Learned in 2024: only 6 starters still in squad, so many trades gives so much freedom. also better to have spare premos at end of year then spare trades.

2025 Plans (locks, structure, etc.): thinking an ‘all cash cow’ team to try and get massive team value for run home. 40 trades very plausible.

    2025 Breakout Candidate: reuben ginbey

Favourite Weekly Article on SCT: fallen premiums

  2. Team Name & Final Rank in 2024: Spudders -3,610

Best Starting Picks: Bont, Butters, Gawn, Sheezel, Flanders, Jackson

Worst Starting Picks: Fisher, Sam Berry, Gibcus only because was considering starting him or Mass. Would have saved a trade if i started Mass as i brought him in for Gibcus

Best Trades: Fisher to Caldwell, Young to L Ryan in R2

Worst Trades: D Wilson to Fisher in R12 instead of Gulden, bringing in Curnow instead of Caldwell, Gawn to English instead of Xerri, Sheezel to McGovern in R23 when i originally was going to go Whitfield or Sinclair and Billings in R2

    Never Agains: Fisher, key Forwards

    League Results: Won 3 leagues

Best/Worst SC Moment 2024: being in top 1% from round 19-22, worst was final round where i dropped 1.3k in rank and lost 4 league gfs due to having 3 doughnuts

Lessons Learned in 2024: Save trades to end, cash gen is king early and only sideways premos early (before price rises) as not having the hot starters like Heeney, Serong and Ryan can put you behind

2025 Plans (locks, structure, etc.): Sicily, Coleman, Daicos, Sheezel, Flanders, Xerri, Marshall, Moore, Bailey Smith, Phillipou. May take more of a G&R approach on all lines except the ruck. Also will not start a non-playing loop (unless no good R3 is available) if early bye rounds remain.

2025 Breakout Candidate: Phillipou, Matty Roberts

  3. Team Name & Final Rank in 2024: Nato’s Potatos@SCT (2693)

Personal Best: I believe this is my best finish

Best Starting Picks: Daicos, Sheezel, Flanders, Gawn, Bont, Martin. Serong, Butters

Worst Starting Picks: Jordan, Fisher, Newcombe, Williams

Best Trades: Newcombe to Heeney Rd2, Zorko in Rd 7 (6.6% Ownership), Caldwell in Rd10 (1.8% ownership)

Worst Trades: Fisher to Powell, Grundy to Green for Sweet R2, Fisher back in Rd14, Rankine in Rd16 to be suspended for 4 weeks. Gawn to Nank over Xerri on the run home.

Never Agains: Touk Miller and Jack Steele the closest premos. Weren’t shocking but not Uber level

League Results: 9 Premlims all lost due to carnage. (Didn’t care)

Best SC Moment 2024: Being ranked 221 after round 6 and top 1k for most the season until the last 3 weeks.
Worst: Trading Grundy to Green. Backed Sweet at R2 to then be out with illness and Green scored 5

Lessons Learned in 2024: Not many, but definitely backing myself to go for POD choices worked. Zorko, Caldwell both fired before others got to jump on.

2025 Plans (locks, structure, etc.): Hoping for a Macrae trade. Will be watching players like Bailey Smith, Coleman and Doedee in the offseason.

2025 Breakout Candidate: Will Setterfield if he finds a permanent position. Played only 4 games scoring 119, 126, 73 and 111

  4. Team Name & Final Rank in 2024: GKMC, 3779

    Personal Best: 1414

Best Starting Picks: Whitfield, Serong, Merrett

    Worst Starting Picks: Dawson

Best Trades: Caldwell in R15 @ 463k, Jordan Clark in R11, Moyle in R12 was great cash gen

Worst Trades: Luke Jackson, Walsh, Zac Fisher, Rowell

Never Agains: Luke Jackson, Walsh, Rowell

League Results: Lose 2 granny’s despite being top scorer because of 3 outs with no trades left

Best/Worst SC Moment 2024: Top scoring in both leagues and win streaks, worst was losing both grand finals and having players out in R24

Lessons Learned in 2024: Save trades for finals, don’t get anyone under any type of injury cloud or coming off a fresh injury. Stick to players who’s body you can trust.

2025 Plans (locks, structure, etc.): Locking in Bont, Daicos, Butters, Serong as my first 4 mids. Xerri as R1. Going for PODs again in DEF as it paid off big for me this year (Whitfield, Clark etc.)

2025 Breakout Candidate: Philipou, Ginbey, Roberts, Wardlaw

  5. Team Name & Final Rank in 2024: JJ’s Circus @SCT finished 2144

Personal Best: If were talking overall, 19th – this year best round 1549 R13

Best Starting Picks: Sheezel, Bont, Naicos, Butters, Gawn and McKercher

Worst Starting Picks: Buderick, Fisher, Sam Berry, Salem and Jordan.

Best Trades: Probably Flanders R4, Serong R3, Heeney R6, Dale R10, Zorko R10 and Neale R13. Also chuffed with picking Clohessy R4 for his first two games and tons, as well as Peatling in R20

Worst Trades: Rankine in both R17 and again R22. Fisher too many times.

Never Agains: I never say never but Fyfe, Jordan and Salem are up there

League Results: One premiership and 6 losing prelims. Finished top 1, 2 or 3 in points scored in each of my seven leagues, so my only bad week wasn’t timely.

Best/Worst SC Moment 2024: Pretty good year but pulling my worst score of the post bye season during prelim week sucked. Had fought my way back from a 96k start down to 2k only to relinquish 1200 spots in a week. Getting all 1200 spots back in R24 with my highest score was good compensation.
Good moment was climbing up over 8,000 spots during the byes with a worst round score in that time of 3240

Lessons Learned in 2024: None really, just need not to be stupid trying to loop during bowls tournaments when I could not get off the green to grab my phone.

2025 Plans (locks, structure, etc.): Have not gotten that far yet.

2025 Breakout Candidate: I reckon Peatling and Darcy should rise.

  6. Team Name & Final Rank in 2024: Nathan’s Gunz@SCT 9110

    Personal Best: 21

Best Starting Picks: Bont, Flanders, Reid, Jordan, Sharp, Roberts, Wilson

Worst Starting Picks: Green, Libba, Dawson

    Best Trades: Young – Heeney (R1), Cadman – Sweet (R8), Reid – Zorko (R10), Biggie – Sexton (R11),Sweet – Moyle (R12), Nank – Xerri (R20)

Worst Trades: Fyfe- Miller (R4), Jordan – Steele (R5), Coffield – Bigge (R7), Comben – Merrett (R8), Libba – Oliver (R9), Darcy – Jones (R9), Oliver – Ryan (R14), Powell – Rowell (R15), Gawn – Nank (R18) (Fake premos and top dollar premos spudding it..)

Never Agains: Powell, Rowell, Ryan, Libba, Williams, Simpkin

    League Results: 0/11 flags 🙁

Best/Worst SC Moment 2024: Can’t recall any best moments for this year lol. Worst would be getting Ryan at top dollar and absolutely spudidng it. was on my never again list already after I owned him in 2018 when his 60s scost me top 10 overall.

Lessons Learned in 2024: Do not pay top dollar for premos.

2025 Plans (locks, structure, etc.): GNR with few midpricers

    2025 Breakout Candidate: Matt Roberts

Favourite Weekly Article on SCT: Fallen Premos

      1. How does a player who played every game, second only to Daicos overall by 13 pts as a defender, and averaging 117, qualify as a burn man ??

        1. Due to always failing expectations. Bought at 666k in Round 14 to then score only 4 tonnes post bye.
Needed to start him in your team to gain value from him.

So many seasons he has crashed when he has been in our teams or is firing when he isn’t. It’s not a one season thing
