Tech Leagues Review

Written by JimmyDee on April 18 2022

In a week where scores above 2200 weren’t the norm, even in classic, some of our techies elevated their game and managed to do that.

Old mate Macca’s missus stole the march again this week and put up 2269 by managing to get Macrae and skippering him – nice move. Alza’s Assassins, Glenboys, Lost Lands and Snipers managed over 2200. Jacko’s PhantomHood Tech and Killer Bees almost got there with 2198/ 2197 respectively.

Top of the group has shifted it’s line in the sand with Techwannabes clear leader at the top with 10,529 with a bunched field in the next half dozen spots and in fact, the top 20 teams are all over the 10,000 point mark, showing what an even start to the season we have.

So coaches, how are we going to bridge that small gap. Tell us you thoughts and let us know what trades have been hits and which ones not so good.

Will the new DPPs make life easier for your trading plans?  Thanks for your thoughts, look forward to reading them

  1. Got some clues as to why I’m not winning tech league just yet. Trading doesn’t seem to be my forte eg. Titch to Dunks for minus 38, Thomas to Butters for his two fifties, Weller to Rowell after his round one monster and Marshall to English for a nett loss, although this one shows promise.

Next strategy might just be names on a dart board after eight yet to be proven successful trades.

  2. I have used 9 trades so far with 1 boost. I have cash in the bank so will likely use another 2 to get 2 more premos and then might hold off trading for a bit depending on how things go. With the extra trades I thought I’d go a bit harder early on

  3. First year player in the Tech League (Abel’s Axes) and really enjoying it!

Burned through 10 trades so far with 2 boost used.
Thinking I will need to temper this for a few rounds now.

  4. Enjoying the Tech League challenge (Dawn’s Killer Bees), feel the team is getting there …. currently 5 ruckmen, very much a first. Like the new DPP’s, some good options there.
