  7. What is everyone’s thoughts on Murph, I know he has a huge be ( around 200 ) but if he gets through the next few weeks unscathed…….I think he might be well worth picking up in R18, as he will be very cheap….maybe around mid $400,000?s?

T/U…………..Definatley on the radar & will be watching him closely
T/D…………..Mids are set, no room for Murph anymore

  13. Wowee, for the first time since Round 1 I have the luxury of having to push a player onto the pine, rather than scrambling to make up numbers on the field.
After trading Porps for Goodes, I now have to decide who to play on the field out of:
    – Zorko (Thumbs Up)
    – Cloke (Thumbs Down)

  14. Just curious why is Couch favored even though he’s not played a game over Mcintyre? Not sure who to go for now

  15. With 4 trades left, Cameron to Couch/Mcintyre and Giles to Jacobs/Mcevoy/Roughy or hold? Will leave Zorko and S.Shaw as only on field non-premiums.
5th in main league and only 1 win separates me and 10th. Playing top side this week.

    T/U: Make the trades
    T/D: Hold the trades

  16. Who should I get Goodes Yarran or Lewis, if I get 1 forward I will hace1 donut from buddy , please help

  17. Trades are done – Buddy to Goodes (need the points over the next few weeks if I wanna make finals) and Giles to Cox. Leaves me with $280k and 1 Trade, and a team that looks like:

Deledio, Goddard, Heath Shaw, Scotland, Carrazzo, Birchall, Rance (Sam Shaw, Sam Darley)

Ablett, Pendles, Jelwood, Thompson, Priddis, Rockliff (Marley Williams, Taylor Adams)

    Cox, NicNat (Orren, Campbell)

Sidebottom, Dangerfield, Goodes, Lewis, Martin, Zorko, Smedts (Aaron Hall, Sexton)

Sometime over the next few weeks I may need to use that last trade, I’m hoping a week or two should see me able to do Smedts or Shaw to Beams or Chappy (Shaw via the Smedts link). Darley/Shaw/Smedts (depending on trade) should provide adequate cover for the back end, Cox and NicNat are going to have to work their arses off, and Adams will be floating between Mid and Fwd to cover any injuries.

It’s going to be a relief not having any trades left – I won’t have to decide whether to use them or not!

  18. Simple poll need to upgrade Giles. Who is going to average more for rest of the year?:

    Jacobs T/U
    McEvoy T/D

St Kilda and Crows have a good draw for rest of year, and both fighting for either top 8 or top 4-2 so will give it all. Both are #1 rucks at there respective club. Cheers for the vote.

  19. Good team BlueBalls, Not sure about not having Franklin in the forward line the Hawks have a reasonable draw for the SC Finals and one is the Gold Coast. Hawthorn will not rest him after 3 – 4 out and he could really destroy them.

  20. Just so I’m not going crazy,I can substitute hale into the ruck, but that leaves no coverage in the fwd line, or I can just put redden in and have Porps a an emergency .my concern is Adelaide resting players this week, is danger a chance to get rested?

  21. Need to make a downgrade/upgrade this week to get goodes in
    Should i go for…

    T/U – Couch
    T/D – McIntyre
Comment – Wait a week or look at other options

    Thanks 🙂

  22. My bench coverage is in strife and it is stressful. I think I need to fix my mid and fwd benches. I have D.Shiel and Gibson plus Treloar and Sexton. Only a handful of trades remain with $60K.

Whoever I bring in has to have excellent JS and I just do not see it with some of the new rookies yet. I will wear a zero for Buddy and Dusty if I do not trade this week which may be ok. I would never usually consider this but with the carnage maybe I need to go conservative and swap Shiel for a Nahas or Pfieffer. Or maybe take a punt on Couch or McIntyre … but I think that is too risky at this stage.

Does anybody have some thoughts to help me out?

  23. Why not just trade Shiel to Goodes with your 60k? Then you can swap Goodes into your forwards for Sexton/Treloar and play him in place of Buddy for 3-4 weeks.

  24. Just wondering, will Goddard’s BE be high and price dropping after missing 2 games. A premium pickup at around 430K with an average over 100?

  25. Thumbs UP: Nic Nat

Thumbs DOWN: Roughie (already have my two DPP’s in place so bonus one)

Not sure on whether to trade, but votes & comments appreciated.

  26. Want to only trade one of Buddy and Ryder because the small amount of trades I have (5).

Which of these two should I trade:

    Thumbs up- Ryder

    Thumbs down- Buddy

Comment if you think I need to trade both even though I have 5 trades left.

  27. Have 5 trades left, Bugg and Bootsma not playing and Goddard suspended.

Am considering trading Bootsma for either McInnes, Beau Wilkes or Thomas Jonas.

Then next week upgrade Brennan to a premium.

    Thoughts?

  28. Generally I hate unproven rumours but this one seems big enough to raise.

I’m certainly hoping its not a fact. I need him playing ASAP.

Rumour has it is the reason Buddy went from not limping at all after the game to limping very badly at a mid week clinic is that he had some minor surgery on the hammy to tidied it up.

Nothing major but it might make it a 4 to 5 week injury rather than 2 to 3 if true.

    Anyone heard anything about this?

    Cheers.
