  1. Think everyone will be taking Howes’ 87 if they can down back, but should we take Windsor’s 69?

    TU: Take Windsor
    TD: Risk Will Graham

    18

    2
    1. I’d roll the dice on Graham. He’s against west coast and scored 90 against the similarly unskilled hwks

  2. I could use the 3rd boost to one of the following:

    TU D’Ambrosio/Sharp/Williams -> 2 of Walsh/Cripps/Zorko +Garcia
TD Sharp/Sanders/Williams -> Walsh or Cripps + Hogan + Garcia

Comment on whether boost is worthwhile and which Walsh/Cripps/Zorko to bring in.

  3. Using a boost, this is what I’m thinking . Torn on what to do with Horne-Francis & Williams who both might be injured. But could bring in 2 uber premos with this scenario

    OUT: Z Williams, Sanders & Horne-Francis
IN: Dawson, Zerret & H Garcia

    TU: Do it
    TD: Don’t

    1. good transfers, williams maxed out, sanders got bevo’d and zerrett will go nuts today i’d expectand he is a good vc/c choice over JHF for the season…

      5

      0
  4. OUT: Williams, Sanders + Darcy
IN: Dawson, Macrae + H Garcia

    TU: Good option
    TD: Don’t

then one up, one down to get Zerrett next week

    1. You must be in a good position if your worrying about boosting to get a fringe D6 out for rowell or merrett. I’d be focusing on getting inconsistent midpricers and rookies offield before luxury trading a bloke whose got a nice supercoach role..

Ignore the dogs game it just wasn’t a good game for HBs Sinclair, Wilkie and Bonner all stunk it up to.

      That’s just my 2 cents.

    1. I liked him last year , with games under belt and now enough time to gel with Geelong , he could just be that POD

      2

      1
      1. I haven’t watched any Geelong games this year (can’t think of anything worse) to see how/where he is playing

        1

        5
  5. Which one to trade in (need one for an upgrade this round)

TU : Nyuon (assuming he is named in tonight’s team list)
TD : Tunstill (named to play tonight – is he a sub risk though?)

Either choice will be on the bench but always looking for an increase in price.

    1. Nyuon is a chance to be dropped. I saw North announcement that the rookie defender Hardeman was to debut this week

      1

      1
  6. 2 TRADES DONE – Z Williams & Pink out for Aleer & Nyuon via DPP (needed these 2 to avoid a donut in my backline). Even if Williams is playing, I feel its time for him to go. Thinking of using my 3rd boost on D’ambrosia to Houston

TU : Use the boost, upgrading to a premium is always worth it (plus have Stewart benched)
TD: Bank the $294K for next week, no rush

    7

    1
      1. Nah – before trades I have 4 non playing defenders – Stewart, Pink, Z Reid and most likely Z Williams. So need 2 gone to avoid a donut. Decided on both Williams & D’Ambrosia so I could afford an upgrade, plus Pink as otherwise still left with 3 non playing defenders in Pink, Stewart & Z Reid.

        3

  7. Soldo to miss 4-5 weeks. Sweet gets his chance to be first ruck.

For those with Jackson at R2, either straight trade for cash or swing Jackson forward and play Sweet at R2.

Worst is he sits at R3 and makes cash.

Only played 1 game, next week on bubble

    9

  8. TU Sanders & Williams << Garcia & Xerri
    or
TD Williams & Ambrosio << Garcia & Walsh (or alternate premo mid or fwd for 577k)

First option leaves me with an awkward price to try and get a potential premo with only 524k. So was thinking Xerri to make a bit more on the back of his 141 and switch to English in a couple weeks when he bottoms out.

Alternatively Pulling the pin on Ambrosio early gives me the option to risk bringing in walsh or even Zorko fwd.

    Let me know any thoughts.

  9. TU: Dawson and maybe afford Bont without a boost next week
TD: Macrae and definitely be able to afford him in a 1 up, 1 down

Thinking I might have to boost either way just to get Sweet in if he ends up looking like a must have cash cow now he’s R1 for the next month and a bit

    4

    3
    1. can you loop sharp? He plays satdy night and graham plays on sundy. ried not playing and he also playing sundy so I think you can probably loop

      2

    1. Would have to think Wilson on the numbers. Garcia has a 43 and a 69 whereas Wilson also has a max of 69 he is mostly consistent at high 50s and low 60s.

      1

      0
  10. TU: Use boost
    TD: Hold and keep Dempsey/Cadman

    Out: Dempsey, Cadman, McKercher
In: Dawson, Nyuon, Garcia with 70K to upgrade Meek the following week.

I have Stewart on the bench this week

    0

    5
  11. TU: Ambrossio, Williams and Sanders to Macrae, Dale and H Garcia
TD: Williams, Sanders and Draper (Freo) To Walsh, H Garcia and Nyuon

    2

    4
  12. massimo -> sweet early?

I plan on getting R.Garcia next week and double upgrading. I don’t really want too double down next week and only go one up. I have money too burn and fallen promos to grab. tracc, English, zerrett, stewart all on my wish list and Dawson and macrae on the watch list for their roles.

    Yayy or nayy?

    5

    2
    1. I have the same dilemma Mav. Question is whether Finalyson comes back in next week and plays majority ruck. Port have done this a fair bit last few years. They won’t drop any of Dixon, Georgiades or Marshall and Lord is returning in the next fortnight. Probably safest to just wait a week and see.

      2

      2
      1. That’s a good point TrooRoo,
But I think they should persist with sweet I feel they didn’t bring him across from the dogs for nothing. I think this is what he was traded for and he’s been solid enough in the SANFL to deserve a crack. But I definitely understand your concern with finlayson.. but I think in past seasons they’ve not had a 2nd ruck as capable as what sweet is.

        1

        0
    2. What about grabbing Garcia a week early instead?
Then you will have a better feel for the ruck situation at Port and can still pick off two of your fallen premium targets.

      2

      1
      1. I did consider this instead of sweet but I hate the thought of Garcia getting BEVOd next week and we not see him again for the season.. probably got more confidence in seeing sweet get a run at it than Garcia. I can’t trust bevo look what he’s done with dale, macrae, Daniel and now Sanders is dropped whose one of their future superstars of the club and should be looking to pump games into.

        2

  13. Which is the better trade?

    TU: Lazzaro > Macrae
    88k ITB
Gives me good flexibility next week, allowing me to upgrade to a sub-600k premo in 2 trades

    TD: D’Ambrosio > Serong
    50k ITB
Gets me an Uber premium, however probably means I’ll have to activate my final boost next week to upgrade. Otherwise could be forced into a double downgrade.

    2

    14
    1. Maybe a double down on cards anyway. Get uber. Crae can wait. No going up to much. Much rather points as you should have heaps off fat rook ready to go

      1. Alrighty, I’ve got 660k to allocate to an Uber MID. Already have Butters, Bont, Steele, Greene and Miller.

Thinking either Serong or Rowell (given his run over the next few weeks).

        TU: Serong

        TD: Rowell

  14. I have a delema….

    Need advice please?
Do I Loop Saint Garcia or Sharpey? Have Ambro waiting to play if need be.
Also, in forwards, do I play Darcy or Comben?

I just know I’m going to pick wrong combination.

Leaning to Sharp then Ambro and Comben as Darcy might be permanently forward with Lobb chopping out Timmy.

Thanks everyone – poll’s In comments

  15. I’m pretty sure the answer is no, but do we get to see the final team lists before the Saints-Power game? I’m specifically wondering about the Suns game as Sexton is named on the interchange and I’ll keep him if he plays (trade him if he’s not).

    TU – Yes
    TD – No

    1. I just checked the AFL website and they still have extended benches listed for the Suns game – when do they usually post the shortened / actual bench?

        1. Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I can’t stay up that late (3 am here) so I guess it’s Wilson out and I have to hope Sexton makes the cut.

  16. Torn between T/U Crippa and T/D Walsh.

Crippa always leads from the front especially when the team needs a lift, and is consistent week in week out.
Walsh has a higher ceiling but is injury prone.

    6
  17. Got myself into a pickle and need to either bring in either Nyuon or go a week early on R.Garcia. Already have the other Garcia.

    T/U – Nyuon
    T/D – R.Garcia

  18. Does Lazarro avoid sub vest this week? Has been named on field.
Need to choose between fielding him or Wilson/Garcia on field in my Fwd line. Otherwise I’m stuck with Nyuon as last resort

  19. TU – D’Ambrosio to Houston this week (this will use my 3rd boost)
TD – Sanders to Tom Green next week

Due to bank balance, whichever one I don’t bring in, will probably have to wait 4 or 5 weeks longer to come in… So who’s more urgent??

  20. Help ! Top 500, Stewart owner so need to field J Draper (30-50) don’t own Gawn or green who have gone 150+.
Thinking of trading Stewart to LDU via dpp or M Andrew or another choice to stay in the mix this week. Thoughts ?

    9
  21. Forgot to trade out Cadman so I’m stuck with him until next week. Best moves now?

    T/U – Williams & Sanders to Dawson & Garcia
T/D – Williams, Massimo & Sanders to Dawson, Macrae & Garcia ($500 off Walsh instead of Macrae)

I really like Dawson’s value and I believe it was only his disposal efficiency that was burning him start of the season. Ideally Massimo has some more coin to make but I’ve got 4 boosts left so can start aggressively upgrading

Two trades next week are definitely Meek to Sweet & Cadman to H.Garcia (if named), so I can boost in a third premo

    1. Garcia with 44% CBA last week. Should have better opportunity of the ball. I’ve got E on him with Graham as back for loop

    2. Yeah I looped cadman last night so need to start one in forward line and loop one in midfield. Wondering who to do what Thanks Nats

  22. Massimo left the track early today and didn’t return.. final teams drop at 5pm so watch for a late out. He was also subbed last week when he definitely wasn’t the worst player on the park for them. Could he be carrying something? Mass -> sweet today looking more and more likely.

    3

    0
    1. I was going to trade out Sharp today for Houston, with Massimo my current D5.
If Massimo is out, do I trade him instead of Sharp?
I can cover Massimo by flipping him with Graham in the mids and benching him. D Wilson would be fielded.

TU : If Massimo is out, trade him out and keep Sharp
TD : If Massimo is named to play, continue with Sharp trade out (worry though that he will be a sub risk if carrying an injury).

  23. Does Cerra who is possibly returning next week , take Walsh’s spot on ball and force him back out on the wing ? ?
    Welcome your thoughts. Cheers.

  24. TU: Trade Williams and have Graham cover Massimo for this week

TD: Trade Massimo since he’s out and hold Williams

    3

    6
      1. I was only trading one this week and Sharp. Not sure how long I’d still be holding onto them at D5. Still have Daicos in the mid.
Might be offloading the other next week anyway for Green. Just hoping Williams doesn’t lose cash

  25. Trade in:
    TU: Serong
    TD: Houston

Houston BE 79 and Saints match up but unsure if $600k for a defender right now is the best use of cash?

    2

    1
  26. With Mass being managed, what do you guys think:

TU: loop Comben with Williams and have Graham on field (will trade Williams instead of Mass if Comben scores well)

TD: field Comben and Williams and have Graham on bench (no loop available)

    3

    0
  27. TU : Clark out & Walsh in ($30k INB)

    Or

TD : Williams out & Walsh in ($200k INB)

Notes: this is part of a bigger trade using a boost which includes Mass out in both options.

I’m just worried about leaving myself with only 30k for next week in the case of carnage.

    4
  28. I’ve traded Williams to Houston…

Should I reverse it and trade Massimo instead? Or I’m thinking Mass will come straight back in next week and his DPP comes in handy. I can cover him with W.Graham this week and re-assess next week..

    1

  29. Due to players being rested I am left with a bit of flexibility of playing around with the bench. Got the E on Wilson and have his 90 ready to play in the forward line but unfortunately Garcia didn’t fire in the mids. Who scores more out of this combo.
    TU: Sharp and Berry
    TD: Berry and Darcy
    Comment: Sharp and Darcy

    1

    4
  30. Due to the magic of “undo trades” I have the option of choosing whether I keep my current trade out of D’Ambrosia, or trade out Sharp instead. Houston was my trade in.

I realize D’Ambrosia isn’t playing this week but he should hopefully be back next week and he still has a BE of 45 with expected price rise of 18K.

TU : Trade out Sharp & keep D’Ambrosia – I can leave Massimo on field in the mids this round, and take Wilson’s emergency score of 88. He will be swapped back to defence next week.
TD : Trade out D’Ambrosia. Sharp & Graham are M7 & M8, so I would probably bench Graham, put H Reid on field to take Wilson’s emergency score of 88.

    5

    2
  31. Great score by Sweet last night, might be some food for thought to cash in Meek for next week.
But for this week looking at trading out Massimo for
    TU-Macrae
    TD-Bowes

    3

    0
  32. Thinking Massimo out using my third boost, and bringing in a fallen premium in Macrae or Dawson. Who do we prefer? Or do I not boost at all and let Graham cover?
    TU: trade
    TD: leave it, play Graham

    3

    4
  33. Traded D’mbrosio this week and the plan was to upgrade Meek next week. However I have the E on Sweet this week so was thinking switching that up and bringing Mass back for Meek with a couple swings to snare Sweets score this week.

    Thoughts?

    4

  34. Forgot to bring in Saints’ Garcia yesterday.

T/U: Nyuon (Poor v Hawks last week but has held his spot, could be dropped for Dawson in a few weeks)
T/D: R Garcia (Good last week but small forward and won’t get to see if he gets the vest as need the cash beforehand for Walsh)

    2

    4
  35. Thinking of trading into garcia early after sweets domination last night now a must have do i…

    TU:
Reverse the mass -> macrae trade
And go mass -> RGarcia early
    BANK : $445k
NEXT WEEK: Sweet and 2 ubers.

    TD:
    HOLD macrae
    BANK: $80k
NEXT WEEK: sweet, garcia & one upgrade.

Either option isn’t great. Don’t like bevo is involved in both.

    0

    4
    1. Reverse the Massimo trade. He’s best 22 and just feeling a bit crook, great bench cover and wont lose cash. Macrae could be relegated by Bevo next week and I doubt that he’ll be a top 6 fwd from here on.
Garcia you wont risk as on field and his cash generation is always impacted by Bevo = you probably don’t need him.

      2

      2
      1. Good advice David, thanks.
So just reverse the massimo macrae trade and wait on garcia the week still?

        0

        0
  36. Need to trade D’Ambrosio as Sharp did next to nothing last year

TU – Mac Andrews ($481,400 ITB)
    TD – Yeo ($267,700 ITB)

    0

    1
  37. Missed out on Gawn’s massive VC score the other night and went Daicos instead. Do I chuck the C on Rowell today who is coming up against the Eagles?

    TU: Take Daicos 128 VC

    TD: C on Rowell
