  1. El Hawli as one trade down and 2 upgrades this week

    TU: Sinclair and Whitfield

TD: SPP, Daniel, Bice > El-Hawli, Sinclair, Holmes (Completes Def as well but means playing Lindsay/El-Hawli on field for a week or two)

    • MM…SPP is The Number 1 trade out…has been exceptional given his first game shocker of 18 and has made 209 large but his BE of 111…Peatling at 452 with DPP..and no Crouch… is a good replacement while Phillpou, at 313 BE 50, plays The Eagles…could be a long term option as he is in The Saints best 22…

  5. Meek has been left in melbourne and will miss this week, after 2 terrible scores and BE of 200+ is it ok swing the axe? Have Marshall at flex so will be able to pick anyone, thinking Whitfield.

Also bit lost on dropping Short now or waiting 2 weeks as richmond have north and essendon.

    T/U trade Meek hold short

    T/D trade Short hold Meek

Bice and flynn out then saad and Zorko in Via flex, subbing trainor into flex and zorko in defense.

  8. Likely going: Bice > Rookie (Pending teams)

    Along with that..

    TU:
    Daniel & Cleary > Warner & Rozee
(Rozee will complete my defence once he gains DPP & suits my byes, not enough $$ to afford Merrett if upgrade Daniel)

    TD:
    Cleary > Merrett
    (This options means holding Daniel)

    Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

  9. Was a post earlier this year mentioning Sicily’s stats are similar to his previous years, only thing down is his DE due to a bunch of failed hero kicks into the corridor. Well now his DE has gone up after last week where he reigned in his kicking a bit. Proven premium. Reckon he’s a decent POD.

I’m also considering backing L.Ryan to return to premo, but think this is far riskier.
These are my trades so far:

Bice + FOS + Daniel out
    L.Ryan + Sicily + Boxshall in

    TU – go for it
TD – get Holmes instead of Ryan

Comment – leave Ryan out and only do 2 trades (next week I’ll have the cash for NWM/Whitfield)

  10. My team before trades has eight round 12 bye players on field. With this in mind, is it worth boosting Cerra to Whitfield? Other trades are Bice and Daniel to El Hawli and Sinclair/Zorko

TU: Do it, take the opportunity and get in the potential D1 for the rest of the season

TD: Save the boost, bank some cash and reassess next week. Neither player will have dramatically change in price

  11. I have Meek and TDK as rucks lmao. I am so tempted to drop them both and Daniel for Gawn, Xerri and a rookie. Feels like a stupid rage trade as it will leave me with 20 trades and one boost left still with minimum five upgrades wanted, but losing so many points week on week is brutal

  12. I watched first quarter of North game and Daniel had it 9 times.

Came back at 3/4 time and he was only up to 13 touches and he finished ok

What happened in the middle quarters? I read he had some Physio work done?

  13. Genuinely a bit unsure what to do this week. Initially was thinking of Short or Daniel out to a Sinclair or Clark (potentially via DPP), but that goes against getting rookies off the field. And then Meek is an out. Any help would be appreciated.

D: Sheezel, Holmes, Roberts, Short, Reid, Bice (Stone, Carroll)
M: Brayshaw, Daicos, Merrett, Neale, Callaghan, LAshcroft, Lindsay, Hustwaite (Moraes, FOS, Boxshall)
    R: Xerri, Meek (Boyd)
F: Petracca, Smith, Rankine, JHF, Macrae, Daniel (Cleary, Kako)
    Flex: Maric
    ITB: 21.9k

  14. With TDK looking likely to miss on Friday he almost becomes a must trade with only one game in the next three weeks.

My only other ruck is Xerri, so the question becomes:

TU: Pay full price for Gawn to complete rucks
TD: Jump on Marshall at a value price
Comment: Hold / look at other options

  15. Put up a couple of posts and seem to be getting mixed responses heavily on either end of the polling.

Is it worth boosting to trade out Caleb Daniel this week? Based on my funds, I am in the position to do either of the following moves this week.

    Tu:
    Daniel > Warner
    Cleary > Rozee

    Td:
Cleary > Merrett (This means holding Daniel)

    Out Bice, Daniel, SPP
In zorko, Whitfield, Boxshall with $500 left.

    TU do it now,
Td no, go the value option, instead of Whitfield put in a Holmes or B Dale and pocket 96k

TU: TDK, Bice & Cleary to Xerri, Dale & Sims (uses last boost)
TD: TDK & Cleary to Dale and Visentini

Comment: Stick to original plan of getting rookies off field and cover TDK for the week

  20. Ok, TDK likely out and Boyd being my R3 complicates things…
    With TDK having the R12 bye, there are 2 options, stick with original trades and cop a 0 IF he’s out, or involve TDK in the trades;

TU: Bice, Daniel, SPP -> Tom Green, Rozee, El-Hawli
TD: Daniel, SPP, TDK -> Marshall, Brayshaw, El-Hawli ($126K at the bank)

Obviously thinking stick with TU if TDK isn’t named out, and feel free to drop any other suggestions

    • Hey JJ, solid team but I think the mids need some help so I would look at doing Cleary and Bice to a rookie and one of the $500-550k ish mids like Dunkley, Green or Anderson. Then if TDK’s out, you can boost him either go to Marshall or swap Flynn to R2 and you can bring in Sinclair or Zorko perhaps.

      • Sorry for being dense – If I have TDK as R2, and he doesn’t play, instead of copping a donut if Boyd is my R3, am I correct that I would then get my flex score as his replacement? I don’t need to move TDK into Flex position for any reason do I? My understanding of flex is that it replaces whatever is the lowest score out of the 22 players?
I’m just checking that I don’t need to move TDK (if he is out) to the flex position?

        • yep correct! Sorry probably poor wording on my behalf – regardless of where he is on your field (ruck or flex), TDK would be the “23rd man” this week and his zero won’t count towards your score.

Or if you’re a dud like me who still has Flynn, you can move him to R3 and hope he can turn in a full game like his final quarter last week….

      • Funny you mention Sims. Wouldn’t be going TDK to Simms but if he keeps his spot in the team I’m thinking maybe a Boyd to Sims, Flynn into R2 TDK R3 and then can use the Flex again for someone like Hewett i have sitting on the pine.

  22. Potential TDK options if out. I would prefer not to trade him for a 1 week injury. Weighing up sticking to my long-term plan vs trying to manage this weeks problem.

TU – Change original plans and miss preferred rookie trades. Means i can hold TDK and cover with Marshall via DPP, but also means trading Trainor (instead of Cleary) and bringing in O’Connell (instead of El-Hawli).

Bice, Trainor, Oliver > O’Connell, Sinclair, Marshall

TD – Stick to original plans, cop a donut (if Maley is out) but get my preferred rookies and cash gen for my Bont / Butters raid in R13.

Bice, Cleary, Oliver > El-Hawli, Sinclair, Phillipou (or Jiath)

  31. With the news of TDK out and his rapidly approaching bye, people are floating out Rowan Marshall as a replacement. What about Luke Jackson instead?

Yes the 148 BE is large. But Darcy is out and Jackson is absolutely capable of approaching that with his massive ceiling. He’ll be a top 3 or 4 forward this year.

Worth while to TDK to Jackson? Or better off holding/looking at RoMa?

My worry would be do essendon chase a ruckman in the mid season and play him? Also goldy has English this week. Only one ruckman has tonned against him in 6 weeks. That was Jackson in R4. Several have gone sub 80? It’s a risky play.

    (Carroll, Buss)
Daicos, Merrett, Serong, Anderson, Rozee, Petracca, Lashcroft, Lindsay .
    (Hustwaite, Knevitt, Gross
    Xerri, TDK (Reidy)
