      1. I’m guessing some of the downvotes are because Gulden -> RCD was a better trade last week (nets you $58k less because of RCD’s price rise).

        1. Thanks Daniel. Yeah I was confused by so many downvotes. I went for Poulter last week instead. Might look at O’Connor if named, but RCD looks to have good JS & still cheap enough. Cheers mate

  1. Looks like Powell is ready to upgrade, probably to Jelly. Might jump on a cheap Heeney also given the way the forward line is looking this year.

    1. I’d probably hold Powell, fellas.

Yeah, he was ass this week and will lose cash but got that early bye and will be a warm body that can put up decent scores through the R13/14 byes.

His last 5 scores before this weekend were 101, 74, 96, 97 and 73. Think he’s allowed to have a down game.

      36

      1. Looks like he needs a rest to me. Upgrade to Jelly doesn’t effect my bye structure, he’s done his job and done it well.

        1. Yeah, if you think he’s hit a wall then fine to trade. Just think with his ceiling and bye he could be handy in R13/14.

Good luck either way, Luke. Jelly indeed looking deadly.

  2. Most likely bringing in Heeney and Hogan for Warner and Scott, but possibly may hang onto one of the latter for bye round consideration and offload Waterman or Brockman.

Powell may come in for trade consideration and move RCD from bench to field.

Depends on having enough depth for byes, and the ability to maybe bring in Dusty or Drew the following week.

      1. Might be hoping to bring Butters back in. He was in my side and going along great when he got injured.

The big problem is structural, due to lack of sufficient DPP’s. Dusty or Danger really needs to come in for DPP reasons, but Dusty will probably be climbing into the 500’s and Danger may have dropped that much but without reliable history showing he’s fit enough to justify a trade in in 2021.

The other drama is the byes. Danger, Butters and Hogan are all going to share the same bye as Ziebell. So at this point if you are bringing in Hogan you are doing so to keep him as cash generation and enable bye cover for Heeney or Dusty (or Bolton).

I don’t Danger as viable unless you’re looking at him as substituting for Heeney or Sidebottom. Yet at 300k ish you can bench Heeney (and equally so, Hogan) for the week and who the hell has bought Sidebottom at that price.

        *Twirls mustache suggestively*

  3. I needed Petracca to get 28 touches to win a multi and I swear he got it but they didn’t add it on. Could someone please explain to me the process of this do they review it ? If so when is the final count down? Thanks for the help guys.

    Koschitzke -> Ridley
    Powell -> Heeney
The lack of downgrade options this week is going to make things a bit crazy….

  5. I dont think I am going to trade at all this round for the first time this season.
No rookies really saying ‘pick me, pick me’.
Need to hold a few weeks so that some of them can fatten and be traded during the bye rounds

    18

      1. I thought they may give him a week in the SANFL.

Tom Clurey is injured so he is a chance to come straight back in.

    2. Going to double upgrade my forward line this week.

      Warner to Martin
If Flynn Plays this week, Scott to Zorko if I have the funds if not it’ll be Heeney.

      13

      1
  6. Warner to Dusty, not sure on the rest.

I’ve got 227K in the bank so can upgrade Kozi to a premium defender or Powell to Oliver or Lyon.

Not sure which way to go on the second upgrade. I’m keeping an eye on Rory Atkins from GC as a mature downgrade if nothing else comes around.

  9. No one to downgrade to this week so either holding trade or chopping an under performing premo whilst I can and pick up a premo who is set to rise massively in the coming weeks..

    Tu: T Greene > Hall/Martin
    Td: Hold

  10. Hey so i got O.Henry score pretty bad and lost cash so is it worth trading him out for another rookie if i have 18trades left.

    8

    15
  11. I’m rather annoyed at myself as last week I didn’t use my second trade which I could have used to bring in Poulter for Warner. This would have saved me some $$ for this weeks trades.

    T/U Warner > Poulter, Bergman > Dusty (2 trades)
    T/D Powell > Dusty (1 trade). Cheers

    1

    27
    1. Brought him in last week, was great on debut.

Takes a decent amount of kick ins, sees plenty of the ball in North’s backline and, most promising, they like his run and carry and look to get in his hands.

If you’ve got time this week go back and watch the Hawks Roos game, Olie.

      6

      4
        1. Depends on what risk you want, Hind has no real history of consistent high scoring while Hall has no real history of consistently staying in the field

          16

          0
            1. Not sure I have a good alternative. I’d lean Hind out of the two cause at least he doesn’t have the injury history but hard to make the call for sure.
Some other options at the price that you could look at are Sidebottom, T Mac, B Dale. For a bit less, Heeney’s available and is very risky but he’s at least cheaper and I’ll be bringing him in this week unless someone else on my team goes down

              0

              0
      1. At this price he’s only 20 gs more than Warner. Either way for me, he’s a keeper or cash cow. I’m hoping he has a decent run with injuries of course

        4

        3
  12. Double upgrade this week. I’m thinking Jelly and another premo Defender.

TU: Kosi and Warner > Jelly and Daniel
TD: Kosi and Jordon > Jelly and Doc (5k off affording Stewart :()

    Cheers!

  13. Is Bowes injured? Wasn’t watching the game, but he got subbed off. Cant find any news on it either.

    5

    2
  14. Unsure if Bowes will miss games but if he’s missing 2+ weeks will sadly be forced to trade him. Already have 310k in the bank but only 17 trades left.

Considering Powell & Bowes –> Mills and Hall (swing Poulter to mid)

    TU: Good trades
TD: Don’t bring in Hall with his injury history and low trades remaining

    6

    22
  15. DEF – Laird, Short, Daniel, Lever, Jiath, Highmore (Murphy, Jones)
MID – Macrae, Mundy, Fyfe, Merrett, Taranto, Petracca, Powell, Jordon (McNeil, Macrae, Fyfe)
    RUC – Gawn, Hickey (Flynn)
FWD – Ziebell, Marhsall, Impey, Martin, Scott, Poulter (Rowe, Brockman)

16 trades left with $261,800 spare.

So because Highmore did get called up last weekend, I thought I’d sort both the Bolton and Warner issues out. Brought in Poulter……and Marshall XD So looks like I’ll have to side trade my F2 again two weeks in a row, which seems to be the way my team loves to work this year so far. I trade one premo in, gets injured in the same round hahaha

    I was thinking these trades:

    Marshall > Zorko
    Powell > Guthrie

It does only leaves me with $6,500 left, but it helps even up my midfield for the bye rounds at least.

Do you guys think I should do something else? If so, please explain below.

  16. came off a really crap week. scored just over 2000 and have dropped down a decent amount. Looking to bring in some PODS. my thoughts.
    powell > Heeney
    Scott > hogan

there are no downgrade options so had to to an upgrade. Heeney is super cheap. Hogan has a breakeven of 5 and an average of 90 after two rounds and can generate quick cash and dump him after the bye rounds.

    thoughts!?!?

    6

    10
    1. Powell to Heeney I like…I’m doing the same. I would hold off on Scott though…BE of 29 means he’s got at least one more week of growth. Make the most of it. Hogan KPP is risky upgrade for mine.

      11

  17. Coming into the week with only 15 trades left and going to use at least one, possibly two. It’s better to burn out than to fade away, right?
Gonna turn Powell into Dusty for a mere $50K for sure, but then I’m left with $190K and it may be time to cut my losses with speculative pick Lachie Sholl.
    Only question is, go to:

    TU: Fyfe
    TD: Steele

  19. Hi guys – Powell to Heeney worth a trade?
    T/U yes do it now
T/D injury prone and not worth a trade ( or at least wait another week)

  20. Looking at cashing in on Jordan Clark for RCD.
    &
Warner > J.Hogan, to keep the money coming!

    6

    10
    1. Hogan made of glass and has some hard Defensive units coming up.

Would be worth saving a trade down the line and grabbing Heeney instead

      9

      2
  21. Thinking of just Powell -> Dusty this week.

Will hold Powell and do Kosi -> L. Jones (if named) and then a lesser rook to Dusty

    10

    1
  22. Want to pounce on Dusty this week, so it was going to be 2 non playing coming out in Gulden and Campbell for Dusty and leaves me with 172k , which left me about 2k short for Weightman. So other options were Owies or maybe Treacy looking to the future as a replacement for when I need to cash out Flynn.
My other option is a straight trade for currently
    TU Powell
    TD Phillips
I’m light on trades at the minute, going into this round with 16, so the one trade option is appealing but replacing a warm body with someone currently playing feels risky.

    5

    6
  23. Toby Greene out for a month, who to bring in?
Looking to possibly get the other next week.

    Tu; Dusty
    Td; Hall

  24. Need some advice please SCTers

Trading Lachie Young (def) with $282k in the bank. 18 trades left.

TU: Make one trade, Young > Salem. $3k in the bank. This makes Steve May my D5.

TD: Make two trades. Two options im thinking of in comments.

    1. Doing 2 trades, options.

TU: Young & Warner > Salem & RCD -$142k left
      TD: Young & Powell > Dusty & Short/Crisp $10k left, Dusty would be F4.

  25. TU: Powell to Steele
4 rookies on field 16 trades remaining

    TD: Powell to Ridley
    Warner to Martin
3 rookies on field 15 trades remaining

    5

    23
  26. Bowes> Martin
    powell > TU – Ridley
    > TD – Heeney

with Heeney trade have a lot more cash for an upgrade next week.

  27. Powell and kosi out for Lyons and Ridley?

Any other premo which is a must have or pull the trigger on this trade?!

    27

  28. Should I trade out Bowes?

am happy to keep him if it is a week, but any longer I reckon he has to go

My problem is he gets probably Barrass then Andrews then the bye.

  30. At the moment thinking about no trades this week, let me know any ideas or recommendations!
Def – mills, Stewart, laird, Ridley, Daniel, highmore (Murphy, sharp)
Mid – bont, macrae, Oliver, merret, Taranto, Cripps, Powell, jordon (Scott, berry, brockman)
    Ruck – gawndy (flynn)
For – zieball, zorko, dusty, Bergman, mccreery, poulter (rowe, waterman)
    58k in the bank

  31. Round 9 team;

Lloyd, Laird, Houston, May, Jiath, Kosi (L.Jones, Highmore)

J.Macrae, Walsh, Toranto, Brayshaw, T.Kelly, Heppell, Powell, Scott (Poulter, McNeil, F.Macrae)

    Gawndy (Hunter)

Ziebell, Sidebottom, Dusty, Daniher, Warner, Bergman (Fullarton, Waterman)

    17 trades remaining, 189K ITB

    I’m thinking;

    Powell & Warner out
    Jelly & Heeney in

    Please comment any other suggestions/thoughts!

    4

    4
  32. Joe Daniher BE 84* do you think he can make more cash and keep scoring well?

    TU: Yes keep him

    TD: Trade out soon.

    26

    5
    1. I’m seeing his BE at 80. He’s only gone under that 3 times all year with one being 73. I reckon it depends on your forward line structure, and how many trades you have left. He’ll probably be the last forward I’ll upgrade barring injury or a Tex like drop in form.

      7

      1
  33. Already going Warner to Dusty..
    Tu Powell to Steele
Td Powell to Mills and finish backline

    20

    13
  34. have 19 trades left atm, not having macrea has really hurt but probably getting best value out of the T/U trade – thoughts appreciated!

T/U powell and warner> zorko and heeney
T/D powell> macrea, campbell> rookie after one price rise eg byrne, highmore
or just powell > jelly and leave warner on field for the time being?

    7

    0
  35. also a question- when i post there’s a 5 minute countdown until it loads on to the SCtalk page, is that the same for everyone?

    11

    0
  36. TU – Powell to Zorko $400 left over
TD – Powell to Dusty $90000 left over
I’m happy to spend more on Zorks with his current scores and I have rookies to downgrade for cash gen.

    6

    17
  37. T/U – Brockman and Bowes to Dusty and L.Jones/N.Murphy (wait for selections) and bank 377-397k.

T/D – Powell and Bowes to Lyons and Ridley (bank very little)

    Comment suggestions.

Train of thought is keep the cash flowing and I am going to need the playing bodies come bye rounds. Have wanted to try and get Lyons in for a few weeks now but have not been able to, so may hold until the bye. Hence, the downgrade on Bowes as not many defenders appeal to me due to the byes.

    1

    13
  38. TU:
    Trade flynn out this week?

    TD:
    Hold

With no good rookies its the only way I can have enough cash to 1up 1 down.

    1

    20
    1. Flynn to Treacy if it helps with an upgrade but no need if you’re just grabbing cash cause he still has more growth

      4

      0
  39. With Jack Bowes out for 2 -3 weeks, I’m considering whether I trade him. Due to my bye structure and available cash, the trade would be to Tom Stewart. I hope that I have cover at the moment in either Tom Highmore or Nathan Murphy. There is two weeks to both Bowes and Stewart having the Round 12 bye. So do I hold Bowes until after his bye and hope that he comes good, trade to Stewart now, or wait a week and trade to Stewart next week as his BE is currently 138?

    TU; Hold Bowes
    TD; Trade Stewart in now

Comment; Trade Stewart in next week.

    2

    16
  40. 16 trades left and only one forward keeper
    TU: Warner -> Heeney
    TD: Save the trade

    11

    11
    1. Have to wait one more week. He’s a talent, but at the Dogs he’s a fringe player at best. Who knows what Bevo will do…

      5

      1
  41. Is bowes worth trading out?

I feel as if this injury is still going to effect his scoring when he comes back, so what im thinking is,
    Bowes> Ridley
    Powell> Martin

    11

    3
    1. Given both Robertson and Warner are playing, and likely to stay in their respective teams, I’d make your decision based on whIch choice suits your bye structure better. Robertson and Dusty have the R13 bye, whereas Warner has the R14 bye.

      0

      0
    1. The main point of using trades is to get to a full premo side so there’s no point saving trades rather than upgrading

      3

      4
      1. Well you might need to utilize 3 trades in each of Rounds 13 and 14 (bringing in R12 bye players) to maximize points on the ground during those bye rounds. So saving trades now is a valid strategy.

        3

        0
        1. Yeah, good point. I guess I think upgrades are always worth it but I also wouldn’t do an upgrade if I think it hurts the bye structure too much

          1

          0
  42. Bringing Dusty and Steele in for the next 2 weeks who do I get first
TU: Get in Steele straight away for more points
TD: Dusty, lower BE save cash next week

    0

    11
  43. Powell’s gotta go which is so tough 🙁
and Bowes too, 2 weeks seemed okay but 3 weeks is too long.

Gonna downgrade Powell to RCD but,

    TU: Daniel
    TD: Ridley

    Or Mills, Rich, Doch

    14
  44. Surely Jones from port gets a game soon enough? He was playing well before he got injured. Thoughts;

Powell > L Jones? (Via dpp)

Tu; only if he is named
Td; do it anyway, bank the cash before Powell loses money. Jones will be back soon enough

    9

    1
  45. trade 1: campbell to rcd
trade 2: powell to hall via dpp

15 trades left after trade, or just hold trade 2 and only do trade 1

    1

    1
  46. I know its off topic, but I saw in one of the posts that the poster (!!) said he could see who he was playing in all his byes. I can only see three rds ahead.

Is the poster person right and if so, how ??

    1. Wighty,
Go to Leagues , click on view league, click on results and fixtures,
In right hand corner you will see a drop down screen titled “round 9” ( for this round) click on that and select the round you want to see… all the match ups for that round are available.
      Repeat as often as required.
      Cheers.

      Choose the round you want.

Don’t worry – you meet the Maulers in Rnd13 Bye and will get smashed!!!

        1. yep – if I stuff it up, whilst doing the Bye Planner for the site … well …

Then again, all these injuries and lack of rookies making it very hard!!!!

  47. who should i trade Powell to?

    TU: Brayshaw
TD: downgrade to free up cash elsewhere then go up to an uber premium

I only have 18 trades left

    1

    6
  48. Is it worth holding on to Bowes?

I only have 18 trades left. He’s out for three weeks but one of those is his bye round anyways.

Caleb Daniel would probably be the best replacement I can afford, but I actually traded Daniel out for Bowes earlier so I dont know if i want to do that.

    2

    0
  49. Which two should I get rid of for this week’s upgrades?

    TU: Warner and Farrar
    TD: Scott and Bergman

    8

    1
  50. Flynn to Treacy
    Mcreery to Dusty

    Or… if Jones is playing

    Powell to Jones (via sharp)
    Mcreery to Dusty

    3

    1
  51. 16 trades left before this round so I’m just going to turn Warner into Dusty (like everyone else who has Warner and doesn’t have Dusty!)

Leaves me with these rookies and 64k cash:
    D – Kosi/Highmore/Jones
    M – Jordon/Powell/RCD/Ely Smith
    F – Dev Robertson/A Scott/Poulter

Wanted to bring in either Heeney or Hogan too but with Heeney, am worried his broken hand/ankle issue could flare up and I don’t have many luxury trades left, and with Hogan, reckon he’s good for cash gen and my byes but again need to trade again so don’t think it’s worth it.

Am keeping Powell for the byes cause I’ll forgive one bad score and happily take 70-80 from him whilst ensuring I can field 18 bodies in R12-14.

Good luck this week everyone. May the injury Gods have mercy on us all!!!

  52. Hey guys
    Trades: 16
    Bank: 44k
    DEF
Lloyd, Laird, Short, Aliir, Jiath, Jones (Frederick, P Walker)
    MID
Macrae, Guthrie, Oliver, Walsh, Steele, Petracca, Sholl, Jordon (Powell, McNeil, Fyfe)
    RUC
    Grawndy (Flynn)
    FWD
Ziebell, Warner, Scott, Rowe, Thilthorpe, Poulter (Waterman, Henry)

If Jones/ Frederick don’t play I’m DOOMED and of course they have a Sunday game.
    So far am thinking
Warner -> Heeney cuz at this point in time i need to be risky.
Will the D6 be a problem? Are there any better trades out there???
    Thank you

    1. Hey, Jude (lol).

Jones should return this week, we’ll know by tmmrw night.

Assuming he’s back, Warner -> Heeney sounds good.

Don’t see much else that you could do this week? Very solid team. FWD premos your priority in the coming weeks.

      Good luck.

  54. Toby Greene again confirming his spot on my never again list.
    Marshall has to go, so

T/U Ridley via two dpp moves with Laird taking Powell onfield spot
T/D Hall and hold my breath re injury……better cash generation.

Comment Heeney…also an injury risk but allows more cash for another upgrade next week. Hind ?? Trades starting to be a concern so Powell trade has to wait.

  55. Thoughts on these trade options?? 18 trades left

TU: Powell/ Jaith > Heeney/ Daniel Via ddp

    Or

    TD: Powell/ LYoung > Collier-Dawkins/ Steele

Macrae, Merrett, Oliver, Mitchell, Treloar, Powell, Jordon, Poulter( Young, Bruhn, FMacrae)

  56. Def- Lloyd, Laird, Ridley, Jiath, Idun, Highmore – res Jones, Edwards
Mids- Mcrae, Oliver, Walsh, Merritt, Boak, Treloar, Powell, Jordan res- RCD, Brockman, Bruhn
    Ruck- Grundy, Gawn res-Flynn
Fwds- Zeibell, Impey, Martin, Scott, Rowe, Poulter res- Bergman Waterman.
So my Idun and Powell need to go cash wise and I know my fwds are weak but can a week or 2 more out of most of then.
TU- Idun to Daniel and Powell to a cheapie for cash next week to maybe get Steele
TD – Idun to Mills and have less cash to work with next week

    1. You have a lot of rooks on field. Would refrain from sidewaysing (though I know how you feel as someone that still pulls my hair out with Cripps in my side)

Would be looking at grabbing Dusty. Something simple like

      S Berry -> R. O’Connor (ADE)

      Powell -> Dusty

Alternatively could go Powell -> Heeney and avoid O’Connor if you don’t like the look of him / don’t wanna go a week early

      4

      1
      1. Thanks Abs, I wouldn’t normally do sideways trades but it was suggested to me last week I so did. Who would you rather Dusty or Heeney?
If named I may go early on O’Connor

        0

        0
        1. Definitely Dusty. More mid mins currently, higher ceiling and you’re gonna want him in your team sooner or later. (Bringing him in as well this week)

Lower break even and not held together by duct tape as well than Heeney

Can wait on Heeney another week and have another look (has a BE of 77)

          8

          0
    2. You’ve got 8 rookies on field, 4 of which are on your forward line. – that needs to change. Downgrade any one of Warner, Powell, Rowe that suits your byes and upgrade a non playing rookie (Brockman) to a discounted premium. Dusty or Heeney (injuries?)

      0

      0
  58. If L Jones plays:

Powell>Jones, swinging Laird to mids. One of L Jones/Highmore/Briggs on field in def
    Warner>McDonald

Otherwise if L Jones doesnt play HOLD

    TU or TD

    4

    1
  59. So many people bringing Heeney in this week. Granted that he is very cheap but I would be worried that he misses games through injury given that he can’t train until Thursday because he is sore. Too risky for me but good luck it could pay off.

    12

    1
  60. Have Bowes who I’ll probably just hold cause I need someone playing in both rounds 13 and 14 and I’ve got Kozi as bench cover but should I consider bringing in Houston instead?

    TU: Bring in Dan
TD: He’ll lose money this week so wait

    0

    7
  61. Can trade out Powell to any mid. Already have Macrae, Oliver, Duncan, Steele, Merrett and Cripps. I want Lyons but I can’t convince myself to spend that much money on him at this stage when it can be used elsewhere. I’m also considering Josh Kelly but his history of injuries is concerning. So do I trade in:

T/up – Touk Miller (leaves me with $106k)

T/down – Nat Fyfe (leaves me with $121k)

    10

    4
        1. Tbh I was kinda leaning towards Fyfe or Miller. Based on my current team and everyone that’s been dropped, if I pick Walsh, I’ll only be able to field 15 players in round 13 and 17 in Round 14. If I pick Fyfe, then 16 in both round 13 and 14. If I pick Miller or Boak, then 16 in round 13 and 17 in round 14.

  62. Took a punt on ROB now sick of his scores.
    Have Gawn can’t afford Grundy.
Thinking of Goldstein. 3 round ave. of 109.
Will cost me $25K. This week ROB has Max
    Goldie has Essendon.

  63. Rumours
    Herd that
Zorko’s centre bounce numbers have been heading south & he has a lower leg issue that he has been managing all year
Apparently the coaching staff wanted to play him fwd but he had to play more mid when Neale went down
What happens when Neale gets back into the midfield ?

  64. Glad to see Ned Reeves finally getting a go. May not be relevant just yet but a long needed debut from a huge kid (208 cm) with great potential.

After Hawthorn throwing away potential talent like Pittonet without giving the opportunity maybe finally something has clicked at Waverley.

  65. Is Ridley the best defender under 500k this week? Don’t have any of them, short Daniel, Houston ect

    11

  66. Hey guys. Just wondering whether to get ridley or blake Hardwick. wary of getting ridley given his reduced kick in roles, and Hardwick seems to be taking all the kick-ins for the hawks

    4

    0
    1. Hardwick didn’t take “all” the kick-ins for the Hawks. 5/8 compared to Ridley’s 5/13 last week.

His 137 last week is no reason to jump on either, only his fourth score over 100 this season.

Go Ridley. Proven ceiling, getting back into the swing of things.

  67. Decisions decisions…..so for one trade this week :

TU: Warner to Hawkins (better for byes, and with only one fwd upgrade to go)
TD: Powell to Steele (still running with 3 mid rookies, and will be 4 this week with Brayshaw out, but only 3 if Steele comes in)

    3

    9
  68. Who would you rather bring into your team (needs to be a R12 bye player)

    TU – Hawkins
    TD – Hall

    6

    11
    1. Trade 2:
      Kosi out, in…

      T/U – L Jones
      T/D – Redman
Jones has lots of cash to make if he plays. Redman taking kick-ins from Ridley so good point scoring.

      5

      4
  69. getting rid of powell and someone else
    TU: Ridley and heeney
    TD: Ridley and hall
    comment: hall and heeney
or should i do one downgrade and one upgrade like getting murray and zorko.

  70. Honestly in a fair bit of shambles, have been dealt injuries and misfortune all year and am so uncomfortable with how the team is looking. Desperate for some advice from some legends on here.

DEF: Mills, Lloyd, Ridley, Bowes, CJ, Kosi (Highmore, Murphy)
MID: Macrae, Oliver, Boak, Mitchell, Laird, Powell, Robertson, Scott (Poulter, Brockman, Macrae)
    RUC: Gawn, Grundy (Flynn)
FWD: Ziebell, Hall, Impey, Daniher, Martin, Warner (Waterman, Henry)
$31.9k in the bank with 15 trades :/

Personally I am thinking Kosi > Jones (if picked) Powell > RCD, which would give me 365k in bank to go Robertson/Scott up to any MID premo next week.

    2

    0
    1. Alternatively and a little left field, Flynn to Treacy and upgrade Powell, should have around $580k.

      0

      0
    2. Depends how much you want to hold onto Bowes (3 weeks). If you had cover that would be good but you don’t. Bowes is a straight swap to Daniel. $20k for Short or Hardwick. Maybe then someone to RCD for cash generation.

      1

      0
  71. Thinking ill trade treacy in on my fwd bench to eventually swing him into ruck bench for flynn. I wanted to trade bergman to him but that give me 582k not enough for one of the gin mids. So I think ill go -scott to treacy for the extra 14k so I can then trade powell to walsh.
    T/U Good trades
    T/D Don’t do it

    3

    3
  72. Team Fishxma

Mills Lloyd Stewart Laird Short Jiath ( Kozi Highmore)
Macrae Merrett Oliver Taranto Walsh Mitchell Powell Jordan (RCD Brockman Sharp)
    Gawn Grundy (Flynn)
Zeibell Impey Martin Warner Bergman Scott (Rowe Poulter)

    15 trades and only $9800

Any suggestions please – was thinking
T/U highmore and Warner out Jones(if plays) and Heeney in or
T/D save trades not worth it

Does anyone have any other suggestions or best to hold for now?

    4

    4
    1. Powell to Treacy dpp and Warner to Aaron Hall or Zorko
RCD on field looks as good as promising as Powell.
Not sure how that works with your byes.

      1

      0
    2. I would quite happily play RCD and Jordan at the moment.
I would swing a F/M with Brockman for cover and hold for some possible new rookies breaking out to downgrade to. Heeney is a huge risk I reckon.

      0

      0
  73. Did a double downgrade last week and as long as 1 of Murphy or Jones is named in the backline then it’ll be

    Butts > Lloyd
    Powell > Steele

Will have 19 trades remaining, $40k cash and only 1 def and 1 mid spot left to upgrade. Forward line is a little light on after Martin and Ziebell though, but will be prioritized through the byes.

    3

    1
  74. TU Zorko (worst for my byes)
TD Hall (best for my byes)

  75. Hi Guys,

Looks like J Kelly is starting to do well, but, now with a Captaincy burden and being injury prone, is it worth getting him in:

    T/U : J Kelly ( + $107K)
    T/D: J Lyons (+ $18K).

    Cheers.

  76. It sound complicated.
Rucks are Gawn, ROB, Flynn and Fullarton FWD/RUCK.
Thinking ROB to T. Campbell which allows me to do Powell to whoever
I like. Play Flynn and swap Fullarton with Campbell and play Campbell in FWD Line. Or just go ROB to Goldstein which leaves nothing left to do Powell to
    anyone decent. Can’t afford Grundy.

  77. Hi Guys, who to bring in? Cant decide between these 3.

    Or

    Comment Josh Kelly.

  78. This week trades Bowes to Harmes, and Powell to Hind

18 keepers, 4 positions left to upgrade

Def: Lloyd, Mills, Short, Daniel, Houston, Harmes (Jones, Highmore)

Mid: Macrae, Titch, Fyfe, Tarranto, Laird, Redden, Jordan, RCD (Macrae, Smith, Brockman)

    Ruck: Grundy, Gawn (Meek)

Fwd: Dusty, Ziebell, Hall, Hind, Bergman, Poulter (H.Jones, Tilthorpe)

    14 trades left

Thats if Harmes avgs 93 to 95sc, and Hind 90+ sc from here out.

Will be trying to get 4 uber premos:
2 for midfield Oliver and from Guthrie, Lyons, Bont, Steele
2 for forwards Zorko and from Billings, Bolton, McDonald

    1. Hey JJ, if you had the cash to go Powell straight to Dusty then that is a no brainer. Your pickle, like many is that there is no one to downgrade to other than RCD (albeit a week late) but you already have him (I don’t so hello current Richmond midfield). If you can find a way to get Dusty in that I cannot see without giving too much away then go for it. Other than that or Powell to Heeney I doubt there is anything else better. You could also hold but someone said after your earlier comment that you are weak up fwd but Heeney is high risk, although if he stays upright he will probably be in my side next week.

      0

      0
      1. Yeah I should have double downgraded last week but didn’t ☹️, I’m thinking of holding if Murphy isn’t named, I don’t know what to do. I could get Murray from the crows maybe

        0

        0
        1. Ryan Byrnes from St Kilda would be my choice ? Playing his 4th though like RCD, $159k but pretty good JS from what we saw on this site last week. Gets you Dusty while keeping reasonable bench back up swapping Berry to Byrnes ? I am paying the extra for RCD as I do not have him but Byrnes was the 2nd best pure mid rookie pick last week. Good luck

          0

TU: Kosi and Powell for Ridley and Lyons, leaves me with 16k

  81. Hey everyone!

Currently have Mansell and Highmore on my bench. Here is what I was thinking for trades.
I could bring in Jones for Powell (Laird DPP to mid) but it does worry me that all 3 of those rookies don’t play next week. Other option is moving Powell to Byrnes. I know I missed the first price rise but my rookie situation down back has me worried.

    TU: Powell/Warner to Jones/Zorko
    TD: Powell/Warner to Byrnes/Zorko

    Thanks everyone!

  82. I can afford Macrae but am wary of his BE
    being 150
Must win game in my league
    TU- just bring him in
TD – bring in another mid (more than likely Steele) and get macrae in 2-3 weeks when he’s bottomed out

    4

  83. Posting on this thread as well as I’m quite stuck. With Bergman being dropped for Lachie Jones feel like I must bring in Jones with him on the bubble. Bowes to Jones leaves me 630k, with my second trade to bring in Lyons who do I cull?

TU: Powell (high breakeven will lose cash but place in side)
TD: Bergman (won’t lose money but not playing )
